Vera quietly turned her face, and he raised his hand to turn her little head back.

Kris Cooper helped her lay down the napkin and sat down next to her, and the two began to chat with the others.
By this ti, Irene Spencer had also walked into the hall.
Daffa Perkin led her to the table, and seeing her, everyone was a bit surprised.

Daffa Perkin went to find the manager to pass along the ssage, while Irene Spencer adjusted her mood and turned to Kris Cooper.
"Kris, the company is busy with the ga beta test lately, isn’t it?"
Before Kris Cooper could reply, Vera chuckled softly.
"Sister Irene, it’s not called a beta test, it’s called an alpha test. The beta test is still a week away!"
Irene Spencer secretly gritted her teeth.
"It seems I really am no match for Vera in ga expertise!"
The implication being that acting was her real expertise.
"Gas aren’t my field either!" Vera could easily detect her disdain and imdiately responded with a big smile, "Gas, acting... I just dabble in those. My real expertise is in planning. Our new project at Ashton will soon launch, Director, Logan... you must rember to honor us with your presence at the launch event!"
