Turning around, Kris Cooper glanced at Vera Wave, who was holding a cara and taking pictures of him from afar, and shook his head gently.
"The marriage plans will proceed as originally intended."

He stepped into the ancient city, handed the docunts to his subordinates, and then strode into the kitchen to personally prepare dinner for her.
Last ti, on her birthday, he showcased his cooking skills for the first ti by making steak for her; today was, of course, the sa.
By twilight, Vera returned with her cara, and the man had already placed the steak on the table, ready to invite her back, but the young girl took the cara and showed him the sunset she had captured.
"Isn’t it beautiful?"
"Yes." Kris Cooper nodded with a smile, "Shall we stick to our old routine?"
"Of course!"
So, she tossed the cara onto herself, took the plate of steak from his hand, and they both went upstairs, climbed to the top floor loft, and set the steak on the table he had prepared.
The loft remained unlit, with only the flickering candlelight on the table. Initially, there was twilight, but as they enjoyed dinner, the sky outside gradually darkened.
Tilting her head back, Vera poured the entire glass of red wine into her mouth and then put the glass down.
"I want to see the stars."
He stood up to help her adjust the stargazing telescope.
Watching the man’s silhouette, she stood up, walked behind him, and slowly unzipped her dress with her hands behind her back.
Hearing the faint sound behind him, Kris Cooper turned his face, only to see her standing before him, wearing only her underwear and high heels. Just like six years ago, but this ti, the girl in front of him no longer seed so naive. Though a bit embarrassed, she still looked at him bravely.
He laughed, walked over, and stood in front of her.
"Weren’t we supposed to be looking at the stars?"
She lifted her face to look into his eyes.
"Aren’t the stars here?"
He said nothing, just embraced her and kissed her gently.
Six years later, he was no longer the inexperienced young boy, and she was no longer the little girl who froze and cried out in pain.
But he was still himself, and she was still herself; the love was just as it was back then.
Outside the window.
The sky was clear, and the stars sparkled.
The wind blew, sweeping away the clouds that covered the moon, leaving a world bathed in bright moonlight.
From a distance, a woman sitting in a car gazed solemnly at the fairy-tale-like castle under the moonlight, her fingers tightening around the steering wheel.
On the passenger seat, the phone suddenly buzzed with vibrations.
The woman glanced at the phone, picked it up, and held it to her ear after answering the call.
"Hello?"
"Miss Spencer, everyone is waiting for you to have dinner. When are you coming back?"
Lifting her face, gazing at the distant castle, Irene Spencer took a deep breath.
"Soon."
She dropped the phone, stepped on the gas pedal in her high heels, and the car sped off toward the city.

On the other side of the world, it was afternoon.
Liliana Davis walked into the study room to find Sally Dalton sitting at the desk, sketching sothing on paper.
She stepped over and stood behind Sally, glancing at the white paper in her hand.
"Are these invitations?"
"Auntie?" Sally, engrossed in her drawing, just noticed her, and imdiately spoke up with a smile, "Yes, I’ve already discussed with Dad, and he asked to start making preparations; he will arrive ahead of the engagent. I want to finalize the design of the invitations first, so we can inform the guests."
