Upon seeing Nathan Leafcastle and his companion, everyone courteously exchanged greetings with them.

The Barker Group was also a significant real estate tycoon in Singapore. They had previously ventured into the Hong Kong, Desberg, and Vanora markets, and this year they officially expanded into the Nicosa market. They were all in the sa circle, so so pleasantries were expected.

After the cordial greetings, the staff mber coordinating the eting invited everyone to take their seats. Kris Cooper was seated at the head of the table on the left. As Ashton was the undisputed leader in this circle, Kris naturally occupied the most prestigious seat.

Nathan Leafcastle was offered the first seat on the right, facing Kris Cooper across the table.

The staff mber in charge of the eting walked to the main seat, smiling as they delivered their opening remarks, "We are extrely honored today to have invited Ms. Liliana Davis, Singapore’s dedicated environntalist, to join us and discuss issues of developnt and environntal protection. Let’s all welco her!"

Everyone applauded, and Liliana Davis stood up and nodded to the crowd.

"I am also extrely honored to gather with all of you from the real estate industry today; it’s my pleasure," she said.

After the brief introductions, everyone took their seats and began discussing the topic of urban construction and environntal protection. The staff then invited Liliana Davis to share Singapore’s experience in this area.

Liliana Davis straightened up and spoke eloquently. As the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environnt and Energy, she indeed had a wealth of experience in this field. Her speech was laced with insightful remarks, showcasing her extensive knowledge and vision.

"That summarizes so of my personal experiences," Liliana Davis continued. "If anyone has any thoughts, they are welco to share them for discussion."

The others subsequently posed a few questions, which she answered one by one.

After answering each question, Liliana Davis concluded, "I believe that environntal protection is very important. After all, our city needs to develop, and it must be sustainable developnt. If we only focus on economic benefits and neglect environntal protection, our descendants will only be able to gaze upon desolation from the tops of magnificent buildings."

Everyone nodded in agreent, and Kris Cooper, who had been silent until now, sat up straight.

"I also have a question I would like to ask Minister Davis," he said.

"Mr. Cooper, please go ahead," Liliana Davis replied, turning her face toward him.

Kris Cooper slightly turned his head. His peach-blossom eyes narrowed marginally, an inquisitive glint in his amber pupils.

"What’s your viewpoint on Singapore’s Reindeer Island project, Minister Davis?" he asked.

At the ntion of the Reindeer Island project, Liliana Davis’s gaze flickered slightly. She averted her eyes, raised a hand to cover her mouth, and coughed softly twice.

"That project has been ongoing for a long ti," she said. "I was still at the Ministry of Energy at that ti, so I don’t have a very clear understanding of it. Actually, I would be more inclined to discuss a different project we handled previously, rather than this one."

"I just don’t understand." Kris Cooper cut her off, raising his right arm to rest on the table, his eyes fixed on Liliana Davis’s face like a hawk. "If the project was truly for environntal protection, it shouldn’t have been initiated in the first place, isn’t that right?"

Liliana Davis nodded. "Mr. Cooper makes a fair point. However, unfortunately, I wasn’t with the Ministry of Environntal Protection at that ti. If I had been, I would undoubtedly have cast a vote against this project when it was first proposed."

"So..." Kris Cooper leaned forward. "Minister Davis, you stopped this project in your own way, didn’t you?"

Liliana Davis’s eyebrows twitched suddenly. A flash of surprise flickered in her eyes, but she quickly regained her composure.

"I’m not sure what Mr. Cooper is referring to," she replied calmly.
