Nathan Leafcastle smiled slightly, "You’ve been on a plane for so long, you must be tired, right?"
"I’m okay!" Her hand moved from his shoulder to his face, and Sally Dalton stepped forward, with the other hand wrapping around his waist, "I’ve been worried about you these days, are you okay?"
Liliana Davis’s passing had a significant impact on Nathan Leafcastle.
This ti, if it wasn’t sothing important, Sally Dalton wouldn’t have rushed back to Singapore. After finishing her work, she hurried back because she was worried about his state.
"I’m fine." Nathan Leafcastle lightly embraced her waist, "Don’t worry."
The girl responded softly, "Do you still have a lot of work?"
"Not really, just one more docunt."
She turned her face, kissed his cheek, then brought her lips to his ear, kissing gently, while her hand slid from his face to the back of his neck, gently stroking his short hair.
"How about dealing with it tomorrow?"
Nathan Leafcastle’s body tensed, and he tightened his embrace around her body, lowering his face to kiss her neck.
She closed her eyes, letting him do as he wished.
Nathan Leafcastle lifted his face from her neck, his gaze landing on her face, his lips almost reaching hers before stopping.
He planted a light kiss on her lips, then embraced her again.
"You go rest first, this docunt is needed for tomorrow’s eting, and so data needs to be revised."
Sally Dalton felt a bit disappointed, opened her eyes, and saw his tired face, her heart ached.
"Don’t push yourself too hard, health is important."
"I know." Nathan Leafcastle smiled at her, "Let’s go, I’ll walk you to your room."
"No need."
"I insist."
She smiled and nodded gently.
He escorted her back to the bedroom, personally pushed her suitcase into the walk-in closet, then went into the bathroom to run a bath for her.
"Take a bath and have a good sleep. Let’s have lunch together tomorrow. A new Japanese restaurant opened near the company, it’s pretty good."
"Okay." Sally Dalton nodded with a smile, "Goodnight."
"I’ll get back to work now."
He reached out to gently caress her face, then left the bedroom without looking back, closing the door behind him.
Having been on the plane for so long, Sally Dalton indeed felt a bit fatigued. She was initially planning to accommodate him, even if it ant exhausting herself.
Since he had work, she wouldn’t force him. She went straight to the bathroom.
In the study room across the hall, Nathan Leafcastle closed the door tightly, and his smile faded.
He took out a cigarette from the drawer, put it in his mouth, casually lit it, and walked onto the balcony.
"Kris Cooper, you think this is the end? It’s just the beginning!"

In the Ultrasound Room, Kris Cooper carefully helped Vera Wave up from the ultrasound bed, his gaze falling on the doctor’s face.
"How is it?"
The doctor signed and handed over the printed results, "Take it to the doctor for review."
"Doctor, is... is there a problem?" Vera Wave asked with so concern.
"No, everything is normal. It’s just for the doctor to check and record the data."
They both sighed in relief and walked out of the Ultrasound Room, returning to the attending doctor to complete the records, then Kris Cooper took her downstairs.
"In the morning, the director called and said... he wanted to invite to the premiere?" Vera Wave turned to look at Kris Cooper beside her, "What do you think, should I go?"
