Kai’s took a long breather and then he looked at the stranger. There was no aggression in her stance, but her presence hit him like a wave, soft, warm, alluring. Her lons were pure white shining bright in the moonlight. Kai couldn’t take his eyes off them.
Her legs were visible from the long dress. Her clothes were cut on both sides for agile movent. Kai could see almost everything. His lower body part started to wake up from the deep sleep. Kai realized it’s the effect of her Charm.
Kai took a breath and forced the sensation down. "Don’t move," he said cautiously. "I’m not looking for a fight."
"Neither am I, I want your at!" she said, voice lodic and calm.
"That dry at you are cooking slls good. You wouldn’t mind sharing your food and the little camp, would you?"
Kai squinted, suspicious. "You’re strong, I can feel it. You could make your own fire and cook your own food."
"Could," she said while putting her finger inside her mouth, stepping closer. "But then I wouldn’t have t you."
Kai tensed again, but didn’t move. She stopped a few feet away from the fire and slowly, deliberately, sat down across from him.
"I’m not here to hurt you," she said. "I’m just tired. And hungry."
Kai looked her over again. "You don’t look tired."
She smiled slightly. "I’m good at hiding things."
Because of her Charm Kai imagine her saying this, "You want to see what else I am hiding? If you insist I can show you. But you can’t touch it. It’s only for your eyes." In a second, Kai snapped back to reality.
He remained cautious but didn’t object when she reached into a pouch at her hip and pulled out a carrot-like root. Then she took one piece of the dry at from the fire. She warped the at on the carrot and started nibbling it slowly, her eyes never leaving eye contact with Kai.
"I’m Luna," she said. "What’s your na?"
"Kai. A worker ant", he replied.
"A strong na. Doesn’t sound like a worker."
"I’m not just a worker, but also a warrior."
"Clearly not. That fire, your aura... you’re also strong."
Kai said nothing. Luna continued munching on her food. The crackle of fire filled the silence between them. Her charm aura still clung to her like mist, but now Kai had adjusted to it, though his heart still beat faster than it should.
He cleared his throat and asked. "You’re alone?"
"For now." Luna replied.
"What are you doing here? Did you run from ho Or sothing?"
Her smile dimd slightly. "Sothing like that."
She didn’t elaborate, and Kai didn’t push.
Instead, he asked, "Tell , Why co here? The forest’s dangerous at night."
"I like danger," she said, then tilted her head. "And I was drawn here by you. Your aura feels... interesting."
Kai’s antennae twitched in shock. "What!."

A quiet mont passed. Luna stretched her legs and leaned back on one arm. Her tail flicked lazily behind her, soft and fluffy and totally distracting. Kai was losing control. Seeing her long legs and almost her rabbit hole. He wanted to destroy the rabbit hole with his ant bat.
Kai’s instincts flared again. "I must control myself. She is stronger than . She will beat the shit out of , if I mistakenly do sothing inappropriate to her."

He rubbed his face and looked away.
She chuckled. "You ants are cute when you get flustered."
"I’m not flustered." Kai replied with a serious face.
"You are." She teased Kai.
"Stop using that aura," Kai muttered to Luna.
"It’s passive. I can’t help it," she said, clearly enjoying his discomfort.
Kai groaned and poked the fire with a stick, trying to relax his desire. The warmth seeped into his joints, relaxing his tense limbs. He glanced back at her, and for a mont, they just sat there, two strangers under the moonlight, surrounded by mist and embers.
"So," he said, "what’s a Moonlight Lagomorph doing this deep in the wild?"
She shrugged. " Oh! You know my lineage, I am impressed. I am avoiding soone."
"Who? Why?" Kai asked a rapid question.
Luna’s smile turned tight. "Soone, who forcefully wants to marry ."
Kai raised a brow. "Forcefully?"
"He’s strong, powerful, respected. But he’s also arrogant, entitled, and thinks the world owes him everything."
"You don’t like him?"
"I loathe him," she said, voice sharper now. "So, I rejected him. But he tried to force into his bed."
Kai nodded slowly. "I get it now, so you ran from him."
"Exactly."
"You plan to fight him if he finds you?"
She smiled again, this ti with fire in her eyes. "If he tries to touch again, I’ll show him what a Lagomorph blade dancer can do."
Kai smirked. "That, I’d like to see."
Their eyes t across the firelight. Luna’s expression softened. "Maybe you will."
As the night deepened, the fire burned low. Luna eventually curled on her side, head resting on her satchel. Her breathing slowed. Even asleep, her body looked coiled, ready to strike.
Kai, anwhile, leaned back against the tree and stared at the stars. They twinkled like distant dreams. He thought about everything. The Ravine, Vex, The betrayal, and His first kill.
And now... a beautiful moonlight rabbit sharing his camp. It’s like they are sleeping on the sa bed.
He didn’t know what tomorrow would bring. Curiously He looked at Luna one last ti. And whispered to himself, "What kind of world did I reincarnate in?"
Few hours later the sun ca out, morning mist lingered between the mossy trunks of ancient trees, soft and silver in the pre-dawn light. Kai stirred beneath a curved patch of bark he had repurposed as shelter. His antennae twitched, responding to the subtle changes in temperature and the rhythm of the awakening forest.
He opened his eyes groggily... and froze.
