I Became the Villainess, But My Beast Husbands Can Hear My Mind?! Chapter 111: Turning Enemies Into Allies (2)
Besides, she already had five husbands, and it looked like they would cut this man’s dick off if he tried to beco number six.
"I’m not standing here because I want to waste ti talking nonsense with you... Mr. Tiger," Roxanna said.
Honestly, she didn’t know what kind of title she should use for stranger beastkins. In Evil Roxanna’s mories, they called each other by their animal nas, but Roxanna found that a bit disrespectful.
But she didn’t expect a random title made by her—"Mr. Tiger"—would actually make the tiger tribe leader fall silent for a few seconds. His eyes even widened, and he almost dropped the stone sword in his hand.
It wasn’t because he was annoyed. Actually, it was the opposite. He looked at her like he just found sothing cute, dangerously cute. Like the kind of cute that made soone want to pinch her cheeks.
Azul could see it clearly in the perverted tiger’s eyes, so he stepped closer to Roxanna and crossed his arms, his eyes turning sharp and cold as he stared at the tiger.
"Then what do you want to talk about, Little Foxie?" the tiger asked with a grin. His fangs showed at the corners of his lips. "Shouldn’t you invite into your house first?"
Roxanna frowned because the tiger was starting to act way too casual in front of her. "No," she said coldly. Then she added, "I don’t invite strange n into my house."
Before the tiger could say anything, Roxanna asked, "So, Mr. Tiger, what brings you here?"
Honestly, it was just a polite question because she already knew what he wanted, or maybe not? She didn’t know whether he was targeting the Black Crystals or the "imaginative" beast crystals that Loba had supposedly hidden inside the Vixeria settlent.
Whatever he was aiming for, Roxanna didn’t want him to ruin her settlent and hurt her people.
The smile on the Black Fang leader’s face slowly turned into a teasing grin. "You’ve been waiting for here. I thought you already knew."
His deanor was far too calm, and Roxanna imdiately understood that the Black Fang Tribe had probably surrounded the Vixeria settlent. Maybe that was why he was willing to entertain this conversation.
"I don’t know," Roxanna said, pretending to be innocent. "That’s why I’m asking you. The only thing I know is that you want to enter my house, but instead of knocking on the door politely..." Her eyes narrowed. "...you want to break it down with your sword and your kick."
The tiger clicked his tongue a few tis, acting disappointed. "Why do you think so badly of ?" he complained. "You don’t even know yet."
"I don’t need to," Roxanna answered. She looked past him, at all the tiger warriors waiting behind their leader.
They were holding weapons. Their bodies were tense, and their eyes were full of hunger. She raised her chin slightly. "I just need to see it with my own eyes."
"Oh, the swords? They’re just decorations, tools we use to scare our enemies," he said. "But if you’re not a naughty little foxie... maybe I won’t use them."
[He’s a jerk.] Roxanna thought. [He reminds so much of my ex-husband’s true self.]
They had the sa type of arrogance, and the sa kind of disgusting confidence.
She took a deep breath. [Honestly... I don’t even understand why I can stay this calm in front of soone like him.]
But when she thought about it, maybe it was because she didn’t have to face a jerk like him alone. Her husbands were right beside her, and they would do anything to make sure the jerk in front of her would never lay a hand on her.
"Enough with the nonsense," Zeir said at last. He stepped forward, covering half of Roxanna’s body with his own. "You suddenly ca here without an invitation and even surrounded our settlent like we’re cattle. What do you want, Jarva?"
The tiger—Jarva—laughed softly. "Oh," he said, "so you know my na." His smile turned cruel. "I thought your brain was already ruined. Because from what I heard..."
Jarva looked at Roxanna again, up and down, as if judging her. "...your wife is a bitch."
He clicked his tongue like he was disappointed. "But now that I see her in person, I’m not as impressed as I expected. She looks too soft."
Zeir’s eyes turned deadly. "She might be soft," he said coldly. "But I’m not."
Jarva whistled. "How scary."
He suddenly pointed his stone sword right at Zeir’s throat, hoping Zeir would flee in fear. But Zeir remained standing there, not even blinking, as if the blade near his neck wasn’t real.
"Interesting." Jarva pulled back his sword when he saw Zeir didn’t react the way he wanted. "Alright then. Since you don’t want small talk, I’ll just tell you what I need."
"I want you to give all of your settlent’s resources to us, and maybe I’ll spare you so kindness."
He smiled. "Your beastn can beco my slaves, while your beastwon can be our escort ladies."
Roxanna hissed softly because she didn’t expect to hear such degrading words in a primitive world.
They should treat beastwon with more respect, or their kind would truly go extinct for good.
"More than that, I want sothing you just took from the deep abyss in the cursed forest," Jarva said with clear intent. "The black crystals. I know you’ve been collecting those valuable materials and keeping them to yourselves. Aren’t you so selfish? You should’ve told the other tribes what those crystals are used for."
"We have no obligation to do that," Roxanna replied. "And we gathered those resources with our own hands, so we have no obligation to share them with anyone else..." Her eyes sharpened. "...including you."
There was a chance Jarva knew they had collected the black crystals so quickly because he had been spying on the Vixeria Tribe for a long ti.
He probably only wanted to wait for the right ti to attack the Vixeria settlent, but instead, he gained information about the black crystals.
"Oh, my little foxie," Jarva asked, "have you ever heard what people like to call our tribe?"
Roxanna didn’t say anything and only looked at him with a blank gaze.
Jarva smiled wider. "A group of predators who never give up," he said proudly. "Once we choose a target, we don’t let it go."
His gaze darkened. "And this ti... our target is your precious item. If you don’t want to give it to us nicely, then we’ll take it by force."
"By force?" she repeated. "Why is that the only thing you think about when soone refuses to give you what you want?"
She stared straight into his eyes. "Have you ever thought that if you want sothing, then you also have to give sothing in return?"
"Right now, you might be able to keep acting like this, but Mr. Tiger, the world keeps turning, and it’s not impossible that one day the people you’ve hurt will unite and stone you to death."
Jarva stared at her, his golden eyes sharp, as if he was trying to decide whether she was brave or completely insane.
Roxanna didn’t back down. Instead, she took a small step forward, lifting her chin slightly. "So that’s why," she said calmly, "I want to offer you sothing."
Jarva’s lips curled into a cold smile. "And what is that?"
"A political relationship," Roxanna answered.
Jarva’s brows furrowed so deeply that wrinkles ford on his forehead. "Poli... what?" he repeated, clearly confused.
The tiger warriors behind him exchanged looks. So of them even frowned, as if they had never heard such a word in their life.
Roxanna almost sighed. Of course they didn’t understand.
These people lived in a primitive world, so to them, power was a simple fight, win, and take.
Therefore, Roxanna decided to change her approach imdiately. She smiled faintly and said, "An alliance."
Jarva blinked once. He let out a small laugh, as if he had just heard a joke. "You want to beco friends with ?" he said mockingly.
"Not friends," Roxanna corrected him. "Partners."
Jarva leaned forward slightly on his horse, his eyes narrowing. "And why would I need that?" he asked. "I can just take what I want."
Roxanna nodded slowly. "Yes," she admitted. "You can."
Her honesty made him pause for a second. Roxanna continued before he could speak again. "But if you take everything by force, you’ll gain sothing today..." she said, then lifted one finger, "...and lose sothing tomorrow."
Roxanna looked straight at him. "Your future," she said.
Jarva’s smile slowly disappeared. Roxanna’s voice remained calm, but every word hit him like a bus. "You think other tribes will stay silent forever?" she asked. "They’re scared of you now, yes. But fear doesn’t last forever."
She pointed toward the vast land behind them. "The voids are spreading, demon beasts are multiplying, and every day, more tribes are becoming stronger."
