Sirenfolk were good—very good.
They were one of the strongest races among the myriad planes, backed by an imnsely powerful heritage.
Umdi hurried over with an eager little trot, his face plastered with a flattering smile.
"My lord, I am a Guiding Emissary of the Dranor Plane. You may simply call Umdi."
The Sirenfolk powerhouse hovered in midair and cast him a lofty glance from above.
"So you’re the guide? My clan ntor told that everything here is arranged by you?"
Umdi nodded at once.
"Yes, yes, exactly! As expected of soone from the Sirenfolk—one of the great races of the higher worlds. You must already know the rules of the Dranor Plane. May I ask how I should address you, my lord?"
The Sirenfolk expert lifted his chin proudly.
"Nujer! Among my generation of the Sirenfolk, I crush all opposition. None can stand against !"
The smile on Umdi’s face deepened even further.
"Just as expected of the number one Sirenfolk genius of this generation! On this journey into Heavenscar, you will surely seize first place!"
He paused, then edged a little closer.
"It is truly my honor to have encountered you, my lord. How about I first escort you back to the hall so you may rest a while?"
Nujer bared his teeth in a grin.
"Very well."
...
The news spread as though it had grown wings, sweeping across the entire Dranor main city in the blink of an eye.
Umdi, while on duty, had received a Sirenfolk prodigy—and not just any prodigy, but a ruthless monster at the mid-legendary grade.
The whole city erupted at once.
The Sirenfolk were one of the great races among the countless planes, a top-tier power among top-tier powers.
And for this prodigy to possess mid-legendary-grade strength made him all the more extraordinary.
The great families all pulled out the treasures they had hidden away for years, then rushed over with the most outstanding descendants of their clans in tow, eager to pay a visit.
Though Umdi had been the first to make contact with Nujer, that did not stop the other families from trying to win him over.
In truth, even before this Sirenfolk powerhouse had arrived, quite a few prodigies had already co one after another.
The major families were casting as wide a net as possible, unwilling to let even one slip through their fingers.
As long as those prodigies let a tiny bit of wealth leak from between their fingernails, it would be enough for these families to make a fortune.
And if one of those prodigies happened to take a liking to a daughter of their clan and leave behind a bloodline, that would be even more perfect.
For a ti, Umdi’s ho beca the most closely watched place in the entire city.
And that Sirenfolk powerhouse, Nujer, beca the one and only center of attention that day.
...
Polaris Zone, Imperial City of the Empire.

[Notice: You have used "Replica Crystal" and successfully obtained "Fragnt of the Immortal Singularity" ×10,000!]
Daniel looked at the mountain-like pile of Fragnt of the Immortal Singularity before him, the corner of his lips curling upward slightly.
This ti, he had replicated a total of ninety thousand fragnts.
When fused together, those fragnts could condense into eighteen hundred points of Immortal Singularity.
Heavenscar was a place where prodigies of all races fought for supremacy. Every opponent there would be an incomparably powerful genius of the highest order.
Without thorough preparation, going there would be no different from courting death.
And Daniel’s preparation was simple: stockpile more Immortal Singularity.
This substance had another na as well—divine matter.
Legendary-grade powerhouses could slowly refine it through their own godhood. Aside from that, the only other way to obtain it was by fusing fragnts together.
A low-tier legendary-grade expert would refine no more than five hundred points of Immortal Singularity in an entire lifeti.
A mid-tier one, no more than eight hundred.
A high-tier one, no more than one thousand.
As for the transcendent ones, they generally possessed more than a thousand.
Daniel still could not fuse with a godhood himself. That would have to wait until he reached a higher level of reincarnation.
So for now, he could only synthesize Immortal Singularity through fragnts, which was essentially exploiting a loophole.
Of course, things obtained through external ans were much more wasteful to use.
For example, if a legendary-grade powerhouse only needed five hundred points to break a powerful crowd-control effect, he would need to spend a thousand.
Fortunately, Daniel had Replica Crystals and could obtain Immortal Singularity in massive quantities.
He could practically use Immortal Singularity wholesale.
This ti alone, he had stockpiled eighteen hundred points of it—comparable to the entire reserves of a transcendent legendary-grade powerhouse.
And as long as he wanted to, he could replicate even more at any mont.
Daniel sorted through his backpack one last ti. Only after confirming that everything was in order did he give a brief word to the powerhouses under his command.
At present, Polaris Zone only had one hostile force left: the Undead Cataclysm.
And even that had been deliberately preserved by him as training material for the players.
If he wanted to wipe it out, he could destroy the Undead Cataclysm’s passageway at any ti.
But on second thought, slaughtering them all was not as useful as penning them up and letting the players of Polaris Zone farm EXP and equipnt from them.
All in all, every possible source of future trouble had now been thoroughly eliminated.
He drew in a deep breath and took out a thick stack of Heavenscar Passes.
Flash!
A stream of golden light swallowed his entire body.
...
Whoosh—!
[Ding! You have discovered the "Dranor Plane"! Contribution Points 500,000!]
Daniel appeared within an ancient magic array.
He glanced around and found that he was standing inside a magnificent palace, with towering stone pillars and a vaulted ceiling painted with murals of revolving stars.
"Dranor Plane?"
He frowned slightly. So he had not been sent directly to Heavenscar after all.
In his imagination, it had been so place akin to an arena.
At that mont, a young man walked toward him.
A line of text floated above the man’s head:
[Guiding Emissary · Liam]
Liam quickly stepped forward and said respectfully, "Honored lord, I am Guiding Emissary Liam, responsible for receiving prodigies from other worlds. May I ask how I should address you?"
Daniel suddenly understood.
This Guiding Emissary was probably the equivalent of a beginner’s guide.
"Faustus," he said flatly.
Liam bowed at once.
"Lord Faustus, welco to the Dranor Plane."
He paused, then continued, "Please allow to explain the rules of Heavenscar."
Daniel nodded.
Liam began, "Heavenscar is located within Dranor main city. To enter Heavenscar, one needs one hundred tickets."
"You may gather one hundred together with other prodigies from foreign worlds, which is more cost-effective; or you may consu one hundred tickets on your own and enter alone."
As he said this, he glanced at Daniel.
Daniel thought to himself, I already have more than a hundred tickets myself. There’s no need to split with anyone else.
He signaled for Liam to continue.
Liam went on, "Once inside Heavenscar, whether you live or die is uncertain. The trials within are ever-changing, and only after entering can one learn the specifics."
"If you wish to leave Heavenscar and return to your original world, you need only co back to the magic array here."
Daniel understood.
"Where is Heavenscar?"
Liam offered him a parchnt map with both hands.
"Heavenscar changes location every day, but with this map, you can track the place where it appears."
Daniel accepted the map.
[Ding! You have obtained the special item "Heavenscar Tracking Map (Rare · Unique)"!]
He unfolded the map. On it, a point of light flickered sowhere, shaped like a round mirror.
"It’s here."
Daniel put away the map and stepped forward.
[Flash].
Whoosh—!
His figure vanished from the spot in an instant.
