[World Channel]

"Extra! Extra! Dawnlight City is surrounded by the non-human armies!"

"What? 300,000 against 10,000? That city is dood!"

"Looks like there are Doom Guild players defending it!"

"Where’s Faustus? Why isn’t he coming to help?"

"Obviously, Faustus God just finished leading his army to conquer Ironforge. He’s probably resting now!"

"This is over. Sunborn’s done for."

"I bet they won’t last half an hour!"

"I’ll say one hour!"

"Place your bets!"

[Doom Guild Channel]

"The non-human players are acting brazen! Attacking a human city?!"

"The Doom Legion is still recovering from Ironforge. We, who just logged in, need to support Dawnlight City."

"I’ve already left with hundreds of guild mbers!"

"You’re all moving so slow—I’ve already arrived!"

Daniel’s gaze shifted away from the guild chat.

"A non-human army legion?"

His eyes narrowed. He quickly pulled a black vial from his inventory.

The bottle was completely black, etched with twisted skull patterns. Its cork was sealed with wax, and inside the dark liquid churned ominously.

[Deathcurse Potion (Single-Use)]

Effect: Upon using, the next player you kill will drop at least one piece of current equipnt and lose 5 levels. However, if you are killed during this period, you lose 10 levels.

Description: A curse that gambles everything—either you die, or I perish.

Daniel had obtained this as a reward during the Beast Tide event—ten bottles in total, unused until now.

He decided it was ti.

Daniel uncorked the vial and drank it in one gulp.

Gulp~

The black liquid slid down his throat, an icy chill imdiately spreading through his body.

[Ding! You have used "Deathcurse Potion"!]

[Current Status: Death Curse (12 hours, until first kill or death)]

[Singer’s Gem Effect Triggered: All item effect durations increased 100×!]

[Death Curse Duration: 12 hours → 1,200 hours!]

A faint smile appeared on Daniel’s lips.

1,200 hours—exactly fifty days!

During these fifty days, every player he killed would lose 5 levels, drop their equipnt, and have their inventory cleared.

Thinking this through, he opened his status panel.

[Death Curse BUFF]

Killing a player reduces their level by 5 (including current level).

Forces the drop of at least one piece of equipnt (highest quality prioritized).

Forces the drop of all inventory items.

Description: Those killed by this curse are returned to pre-liberation status.

Seeing this near-BUG-level buff, Daniel imdiately sprinted toward a nearby portal.

A flash of white light, and he vanished.

...

Dawnlight City

A flash of light.

Daniel arrived in an instant via God Speed, and the deafening sounds of battle t him imdiately.

"Dawnlight City... has it fallen?"

He furrowed his brow, surveying the scene.

The human banners on the walls had been torn down, replaced by a variety of non-human flags:

The Beastfolk Lion Standard

Goblin Green Skull Banner

Dark Elf Serpent Banner

Countless non-human players burned, looted, and massacred within the city.

Even won, children, and the elderly weren’t spared.

A Beastfolk berserker swung his axe to splinter the door of a house, screams of won and children spilling out.

"Hahaha! All these NPCs are mine! Don’t even try to compete!"

"Perfect! Killing an NPC child gives more points than monsters!"

"Brothers, charge! Steal kills, steal points!"

A Dark Elf assassin erged from the shadows, her dagger slicing the throat of an NPC elder, blood gushing.

"These civilians are so satisfying to kill! All the points, hahaha..."

A Goblin priest conjured a cloud of poisonous mist, the screams of trapped NPCs echoing inside.

"Hahaha! My poison fog is getting stronger!"

From the direction of the Lord’s Manor, fierce battle sounds rang out.

Although Doom Guild and other human players had arrived to reinforce, they were only slowing down the advance of over 300,000 elite non-human players.

The remaining defenders were concentrated at the Lord’s Manor.

As long as the manor held, the city remained under human control.

Daniel’s expression turned serious.

In the next mont, he unfolded Black Dragon Wings, his figure becoming a shadow as he streaked toward Lord’s Manor.

...

The gates of Lord’s Manor were tightly shut.

Outside, a dense sea of non-human players surrounded the manor, thirty thousand thick, stretching as far as the eye could see.

The leaders of the non-human faction stood together, greedily eyeing the manor, continuously commanding their warriors in repeated assaults.

"As long as we breach Lord’s Manor, Dawnlight City is ours!"

Vantheon stood atop a war chariot, raising his dark-fla staff.

A column of dark purple fire slamd against the gates, causing them to tremble and crack.

Next to him, the Dark Elf Sylphira casually tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Hope you keep your word. Let’s avoid surprises with our resources."

Vantheon nodded.

"My Stormbound Guild’s reputation precedes —trustworthiness isn’t an issue, is it?"

Sylphira gave him a faint, disdainful glance.

"Stormbound Guild, trustworthy? Who even believes that? You’re infamous worldwide. If I didn’t hold the cards, there’s no way I’d collaborate with you."

She didn’t expose him openly, instead turning to two male non-human players with slight irritation.

"Why haven’t you breached the gates yet? Hurry your people up!"

Hearing this, the two non-human leaders panicked.

"Miss Sylphira, please don’t be angry! I’ll command full assault imdiately!"

"Once the city is ours, I want nothing—whatever you desire, it’s yours."

The speaker was the Bimon Behemoth player, Barbarian’s Hamr, pounding his chest with obsession-filled eyes.

The Mammoth War Elephant player, Infinite Might, nodded.

"Sa here!"

Sylphira’s eyes flickered with slight disgust.

But disdain aside, she wouldn’t bother arguing—there was profit to be had.

Vantheon watched, a cold smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

"You really think bringing these two idiots along will gain you anything from ? Foolish!"

At that mont, a shadow descended from the sky, landing squarely in front of Lord’s Manor.

Boom!

The ground cracked, stones flew.

As the dust cleared, everyone could see the newcor.

Clad in silver-white robes, a pair of black dragon wings spread behind him.

He held a silver-white longbow that shimred faintly with moonlight.

His expression was calm, his gaze serene, as though the 300,000-strong army before him were nothing but air.

[Faustus · LV100 · Doom Guild Leader · Imperial Duke]

Cheers erupted instantly within Lord’s Manor!

"Faustus God! Faustus God has arrived!"

"Holy shit! He’s really here!"

"I knew it! The God wouldn’t abandon us!"

"Faustus God is invincible! Kill all these human traitors!"

Sunborn, Skylight, and others on the walls watched the lone figure blocking 300,000 soldiers, their blood boiling.

Skylight gripped his greatsword and shouted loudly:

"Brothers! Faustus God has arrived!"

"Prepare for the counterattack!"

On the walls, the remaining two thousand human players roared in unison.
