Hudson nodded.
"Yes, Your Grace. Following your instructions, we’ve started remodeling the city to match human architectural style."
"It’s expected to take about a week, costing roughly... 1 million gold coins."
Daniel waved his hand dismissively.
"Money is never a problem!"
He opened the city-building interface and transferred the funds directly.

"One hundred million—build it properly!"
"Fortify the walls, widen the streets, upgrade the buildings."
"I want this city to beco a beacon of human conquest against the non-human races!"
Hudson twitched at the number.

Daniel leaned back in his chair, continuing to think about his next move.

Daniel raised an eyebrow.
"What’s going on?"
"We’re stationed at Dawnlight City, but things have gone terribly wrong. The city is now surrounded by a massive non-human army!"
"At least 300,000 strong! Beastfolk, Goblins, Elves, Bimon, Mammoths... every race is here!"
"The leader seems to be Vantheon, head of the Stormbound Guild!"
"The garrison only has around 9,000 NPCs, and with our players, just over 10,000—we can’t hold them!"
"God, please save us!"
A cold light flashed in Daniel’s eyes.
Stormbound Guild, Vantheon.
So these guys had aligned with the non-human races.
He opened the map and located Dawnlight City.
A small frontier city at the northeastern edge of human territory, about 800 kiloters from Skyhold.
Small population, weak defenses.
If 300,000 non-human players really attacked, it was indeed indefensible.
As he prepared to reply, another ssage popped up.

"The Lam River region within Skyhold is under coordinated attack by non-human players!"
"We’ve decided to hold the city! Requesting your aid, Guild Leader!"
Daniel paused.
Sunborn... he rembered this player. During the Doomgreen Forest Goblin hunt, this guy had single-handedly killed 2,847 Goblins, ranking in the top five.
He had taken note back then.
Daniel imdiately replied.
"Hold the city."

The atmosphere atop the walls was so tense it felt frozen.
Below, the black tide of an army stretched endlessly.
Beastfolk berserkers, Dwarf siege squads, Goblin priests, Dark Elf assassins, Bimon Behemoths, Mammoth war elephants... densely packed, at least 300,000 strong.
At the center, a massive banner flew high.
A twisted symbol embroidered upon it—the emblem of Stormbound Guild.
Vantheon stood atop a war chariot, surveying the city.
He wore a dark purple mage robe adorned with strange fla patterns, holding a black staff topped with a floating purple fla.

Behind him, over 300,000 non-human race players surged forward.
"Brothers!"
Vantheon raised his staff, his voice echoing across the battlefield.
"Today is the day we non-human players make our mark!"
"This city is our first stepping stone!"
"Capture it, slaughter the inhabitants, and we’ll establish a foothold in the non-human faction!"
"Then, gear, skills, points... whatever we want will be ours!"
The army of over 300,000 roared in unison.
"Charge! Charge!"
"Beastfolk shall never be enslaved! Hahaha, finally we can proclaim it!"
"Beastfolk are fine, but my A-Rank Warhamr Destroyer has better value!"
"All these ugly creatures, for looks we still have the Elves..."

At the flanks of the army, three figures stood out.
On the left, a massive player, golden fur covering his body, wielding a gigantic bone club.

She looked at Barbarian’s Hamr and spoke coquettishly:
"Brother Barbarian’s Hamr, this city should be easy for you to take, right?"
The golden-furred giant’s bones practically lted at the term "brother." He patted his chest and vowed:
"Don’t worry! With defenses at this level, I can smash their gates with one strike!"
Sylphira turned to Infinite Might.
"And you, Brother Infinite Might?"
The mammoth nodded.
"Of course! Sa here!"
Sylphira’s eyes glead with satisfaction.
These two simpletons... so easy to manipulate!
Though she secretly looked down on their simple-minded, brute-force approach, using them when necessary was quite convenient.
Vantheon watched and smirked.
Elves’ beauty talent is indeed useful.
Two idiots—stupid in real life, and just as dumb in the ga!
He shook his head and raised his staff toward Dawnlight City.
"All forces, advance!"

The horn blared.
300,000-strong army surged like a tide toward Dawnlight City.

On the city walls.
Sunborn gripped his greatsword tightly, staring down at the approaching horde.
Six others stood beside him—his seven-person squad.
The priestess paled.
"C-Captain... can we hold them?"
Sunborn drew a deep breath.
"Even if we can’t... we will hold."
"Faustus God is coming!"
He turned to the other players on the walls.
"Brothers! Doom Guild reinforcents are on the way! Faustus God is en route!"
"If we just hold until he arrives, we win!"
"Do you have the confidence?"
Players exchanged glances, then erupted in a deafening roar.
"Yes!"
"To hell with it!"
"These idiot players normally don’t act like humans, but I’ll take a few down with if I die!"
"Charge! For XP! For points!"
Sunborn grinned.
That’s the spirit.
He raised his greatsword.
"Prepare to engage!"
