"Feng Che, the situation is urgent. You've likely processed so of the intel on your way here," Lt. Surge said as he adjusted the flight controls. "I'll fill you in on the League's specific deploynt. Damalanchi is planning a 'turtle in a jar' strategy to trap Lugia."
"They've set up a massive psychic barrier across the four islands of the Whirl Archipelago. The barrier is sustained by a network of Duosion, creating an inescapable do. Lugia is about to lay an egg—her strength will be at its lowest point. This is the only window they have."
The Architect's Ambition
On one of the islands, Damalanchi leaned on his cane, walking through the ruins of an ancient, salt-crusted temple. League operatives sward the area, setting up advanced technical equipnt.
"So, this is the nest of the Great Sea God," Damalanchi mused, his eyes fixed on a faded mural of a silver-winged bird. "Incredible... to link four distant islands with such a vast underwater network. Once I possess the Master of the Currents, I will be the true King of Kanto and Johto. Every elite family and noble house will have to bow to ."
Nearby, a "League Investigator" watched him with a hidden sneer. It was Sabrina (Natsu), perfectly disguised.
This old man really played us all, she thought. If I hadn't intercepted the true coordinates, we'd still be chasing shadows at the Sevii Islands. But Lugia's labor has started early. Damalanchi knows he must strike while she's weak. If she recovers her strength, it'll be doomsday for the League.
The Convergence of Forces
On a secluded, slippery reef nearby, Lorelei (Kanna) waited. The waves suddenly parted as Lance (Wataru) and High Priest Shamiao arrived on the back of a Dragonite.
"You're finally here," Lorelei said, her face grave. "Lugia's labor is premature. Damalanchi is already mobilizing his units into the Seafoam Caverns beneath us. I've positioned my Ice Legion in the surrounding trenches. Give the word, and we'll tear the League's periter apart."
"Wait," High Priest Shamiao interrupted, his heart sinking. "Why would her labor be premature? Legendary births follow the cosmic cycle. Sothing is wrong. Could the egg have been corrupted by 'Sky Miasma' while she was carrying it? Is sothing else trying to hatch from Lugia's shell?"
The thought sent a shiver through the group. "We need to reach her now," Lorelei declared, releasing her Cloyster. The bivalve Pokémon shot across the water, keeping pace with Lance's Dragonite as they dived into a massive waterspout—a secret shortcut to the underwater caverns.
The Rocket Infiltration
High above, Feng Che and Lt. Surge hovered in their stealth fighter. Below them, thousands of Duosion were visible, their translucent bodies glowing as they maintained the psychic net.
"Hold on tight, Feng Che! We're going in through the water!"
Surge slamd the yoke forward. The stealth jet perford a vertical 90-degree dive, crashing into the ocean in a plu of white spray. With the press of a button, the wings retracted and the craft transford into a high-speed submarine.
"Team Rocket tech," Surge grinned. "Amphibious stealth. The hull is coated in an anti-psychic material mixed with Dark Stones. Those Duosion won't even see us on their radar."
The submarine's powerful lights illuminated the deep-sea wonderland. Corsola drifted through vibrant coral reefs, and a massive Mantine glided past their porthole. Staryu, Horsea, and Seaking were busy grazing on sea moss, oblivious to the war brewing above.
"The plan is to rendezvous with Sabrina," Surge explained. "We each have a heavyweight Pokémon ready to give Damalanchi the surprise of his life. Our orders from Boss Giovanni are clear: The League must not obtain Lugia."
Feng Che watched the Duosion patrolling the depths. They were scanning with Confusion and Psychic waves, yet the submarine remained invisible to them.
"This jet is incredible, Surge," Feng Che remarked.
"You bet. Top speed of 2,700 km/h in the air," Surge bragged. "The Boss treats these like his own children. He wouldn't have let take her out if the stakes weren't this high. Between the speed and the (Dark Stone) coating, we're the ultimate ghosts in the machine."
