"Feng Che, I must rely on you this ti. I ca in such a hurry that I didn't bring any artifacts capable of suppressing demons or dark miasma," High Priest Shamiao said, his face filled with guilt.
"It's no problem. I'll give it a try; it should be fine," Feng Che reassured him.
Using Role Play (Field Exchange), Feng Che swapped the Green Leaf Orb from the flower on Venusaur's back directly into his hand. The erald gem pulsed with light. Simultaneously, a pale green aura of Power of Viridian erupted from Feng Che's body. He funneled his life energy into the Orb.
Instantly, the dark cavern was flooded with brilliant green light. Thousands of sprouts burst through the cold stone floor, transforming the damp cave into a vibrant sea of flowers. When the dark miasma clinging to Lugia's body touched this light, it let out a shrill, piercing shriek.
The black smoke coalesced into the shape of a palm-sized Shadow Ho-Oh.
"You again! You've ruined my plans for the second ti!" the phantom hissed. "High Priest Shamiao... and you, the brat with the Viridian power... just you wait!"
The Sky Miasma was engulfed in green flas, letting out one final agonizing cry before dissipating into nothingness. With the corruption purged, Lugia's form returned to its saintly silver-white.
"Thank you... if not for your power, I would have fully transford into a mindless Shadow Lugia," she whispered, her voice weak. "I did not expect the miasma to strike at the very mont of birth, when my ntal defenses were at their thinnest."
As she finished speaking, the massive beast collapsed to the ground with a heavy thud, the floor trembling under her weight. Using the last of her psychic strength, she drifted the floating Pokémon egg into Feng Che's hands.
The egg was no longer covered in mist, yet a faint, rhythmic black pulse still emanated from within.
"This child was infected while I carried it. The Lugia flock will never acknowledge its existence," she said sadly. "It is in a state of symbiosis with the darkness. To forcibly purge it now would an the child's death. I hope you can take it—restrain its dark power and help it find its emotions."
"I have exhausted my life's origin for this birth and the subsequent sneak attack. My strength is nearly gone," Lugia turned to Shamiao. "Unless I have access to top-tier restoration, I will need a century of slumber to recover."
Shamiao, Lance, and Lorelei imdiately turned their eyes to Feng Che. "Feng Che, please... help Lady Lugia recover her strength. Regardless of the outco, both I and the Lugia clan will owe you a debt of gratitude," Shamiao pleaded.
"I'll do my best. Co forth, Shaymin!"
A ripple appeared in the air, and the small, grateful Pokémon hopped out. Feng Che rubbed Shaymin's head and handed her the Green Leaf Orb. Empowered by the artifact, Shaymin unleashed a massive pillar of green light.
Lugia felt a surge of pure life energy flooding her veins. The warmth circulated through her massive fra, knitting her wounds and restoring her depleted reserves at a visible rate. Under Shaymin's full effort, Lugia quickly bypassed her period of extre weakness.
Golden orbs of light began to swirl around Lugia—she was using Recover to finalize her own healing.
"That's enough, Shaymin. Save your strength; she can handle the rest now," Feng Che called out.
Suddenly, a powerful wave of violet psychic energy erupted from Lugia, washing over Shamiao, Lorelei, Lance, and Lt. Surge.
"Feng Che, Master of Viridian, Child of Destiny..." Lugia's voice echoed directly in his mind. "For your safety and the safety of the young one, I have wiped the mory of this eting from the others' minds. Treat this egg with kindness; guide it to the light. I go now to reclaim the Heart of the Sea from the humans—its power is the only thing that can awaken the child's true emotions."

The Silver Soul Ascends
Feng Che felt a blur of motion. When his vision cleared, he and his unconscious companions were standing in a different part of the undersea cavern.
Back in the nest, Lugia let out a deafening, lodic roar. She beat her wings, creating a massive whirlpool in the seawater ceiling, and ascended toward the surface.
The silver guardian broke through the waves, silhouetted against the brilliant full moon. High above, Damalanchi watched the colossal beast erge, his eyes gleaming with insatiable greed. He raised his staff high, the Heart of the Sea glowing with a deep, eerie blue light.
"She's here! Finally!" Damalanchi's gaze was fanatical. "Great Lugia, I knew you couldn't resist the Heart of the Sea. It is the key to your divine authority over the oceans."
"Co, Lugia! Beco my Pokémon!"
"Black, White, Dark, Shadow—release the Ancient Orbs!"
From the altars of the four main islands, the legendary artifacts were activated. Simultaneously, thousands of Duosion sward the air, their combined psychic weight pressing down on Lugia.
Lugia beat her wings once, unleashing an Aeroblast that sent hundreds of the psychic Pokémon tumbling through the air.
Watching from her disguise, Sabrina's hand drifted to the Poké Balls at her waist. This is getting out of hand, she thought.
