"I volunteered to guard Blue Rock Island, and sure enough, I hooked a big fish," Shadow sneered.
"We've fought Team Rocket for so long, and finally, a High Executive is in our hands. Tell , should I break your limbs and toss you into a League cell? Or should I sever your tendons and let you rot there for a decade or two?" He licked his lips, looking at the masked Lt. Surge like a butcher eyeing a slab of at.
"Ah, I forgot. You can't speak under my Shadow Bind. But I'm generous; I'll give you one chance to choose your fate."
Shadow snapped his fingers, loosening the psychic grip on Surge's jaw. Surge's mouth twisted into a mocking grin.
"You should rember one thing: villains die because they talk too much."
Beep... beep... beep...
A rhythmic electronic pulsing emanated from Surge's uniform. Suddenly, six Electrode and five Magnezone burst from their Poké Balls, encircling him. Shadow stared in shock at the row of specialized triggers on Surge's belt.
"I anticipated this," Surge said coldly. "I set a tir. If I'm immobilized for more than five minutes, my team force-ejects. Now... the ga is over."
The Electrode began to glow with a blinding, volatile white light.
BOOM!
A colossal explosion rocked Blue Rock Island, sending a pillar of thick black smoke into the sky. Surge was shielded behind a massive Electric Terrain and a multi-layered barrier generated by his Magnezone.
When the dust settled, the Gale Pillar still stood, though the ground around it had been carved into a smoking crater. The explosion, equivalent to tons of TNT, hadn't scratched the legendary stone. Blood was splattered on the rocks—Shadow, caught off guard, had barely escaped with his life.
Surge looked at the pillar, which was swirled with violent, protective miniature hurricanes. "Magnezone, use Thunderbolt!"
The electrical discharge slamd into the pillar, but the Gale Pillar reacted instinctively. The wind intensified, refracting the bolt. The lightning veered off course, striking a nearby ancient oak and reducing it to charred ash.
"This thing has so tricks," Surge muttered. "I'll have to get creative."
The Frozen Archipelago
In the sky, the Earth and Sea Orbs combined their power to summon a towering tsunami. The wall of water reached higher than Lugia's flight path, threatening to swallow the Silver Soul.
Silver Rock Island was already encased in a shimring psychic do maintained by the Duosion network. As the tsunami crashed over it, the island briefly beca an undersea city, yet the League mbers inside remained dry and untouched.
Lugia, however, executed a perfect barrel roll, dodging the crest of the wave. But the Gale and Sea Orbs weren't finished; they wove together to create several massive waterspouts that touched the clouds.
Lugia's eyes burned with divine fury. She let out a roar that shook the foundations of the sea, feeling her dignity as the Great Sea God being insulted. She beat her wings, unleashing a Blizzard so absolute that it instantly flash-froze the tsunamis, the waterspouts, and the surrounding ocean into solid ice.
"This is the power of a God," Damalanchi whispered from the safety of the do, his heart racing with greed. "This power... it will be mine."
Lugia took a deep breath, her chest expanding as she gathered air for her ultimate technique: Aeroblast.
The Red Rock Duel
On Red Rock Island, Black's Zoroark had created hundreds of realistic illusions, launching a relentless offensive.
The Zoroark, wreathed in Dark energy, looked like a nightmare. Its illusions, amplified by Black's Power of Darkness, were indistinguishable from reality to the five senses. But to a top-tier psychic like Feng Che, the deception was transparent.
"All these Zoroark are fakes," Feng Che thought.
The real Zoroark gathered a massive sphere of shadowy energy—Night Daze. A hundred spheres were fired simultaneously, blotting out half of the silver moon.
"Alolan Ninetales, Dazzling Gleam!" "Sirfetch'd, Close Combat!" "Togekiss, maintain Air Slash pressure!"
Ninetales released a burst of brilliant, fairy-type light that vaporized the illusory Night Daze spheres. The real Zoroark shrieked as the light scorched its sensitive Dark-type hide.
That was the opening Sirfetch'd needed. It lunged forward, swinging its massive leek with blurring speed, launching Zoroark into the air. The fox-like Pokémon slamd into the cliffside, coughing up blood before falling unconscious.
"Curse it!" Black growled, his cool exterior shattering. "Team Rocket Executives... are your Quasi-Heavenly King Pokémon really this monstrous?"
