Suddenly, a sharp crack echoed across the ocean.

Tiny fissures appeared on the surface of the four Ancient Orbs, spreading rapidly like a spiderweb.

"Not good! The pillars have been destroyed!" Damalanchi's heart sank, and his face paled with shock. He lunged forward, desperately trying to press the Heart of the Sea against Lugia's forehead.

But it was too late. The sacrificial power channeled from the ancient temple had withered away, and the Orbs no longer held their crushing weight. Lugia's eyes flashed with a mocking, cold intelligence. With a powerful beat of her wings, she shattered the golden cage of the Orbs.

In one swift motion, Lugia snatched the scepter from Damalanchi's hand, swallowing it whole. She ascended into the storm, looking down at the ruined altar before unleashing a final Aeroblast.

BOOM!

The temple was leveled in a concussive blast of air. Damalanchi was left shivering in a narrow crevice of rubble, his grand ambitions reduced to dust. Lugia let out a triumphant cry and soared into the distance. The President of the League had beco the ultimate loser.

The Spoils of War

On Red Rock Island, Feng Che sensed a massive shadow circling above. He looked up to see Lugia diving toward him. The gust from her wings blew the fragnts of the destroyed Fire Pillar into the sea.

Lugia was covered in scars, but she stopped Feng Che when he reached for his healing supplies. She opened her maw, gently dropping the Heart of the Sea and the four cracked Ancient Orbs onto the sand.

"Master of Destiny, I entrust the young one to you. This Heart of the Sea will accelerate its growth," her voice echoed in his mind. "These four Orbs, though damaged, remain rare legendary resources. Take them."

She then dropped a shimring Silver Wing. "Use this to communicate with if you have need. I will co to your side as fast as the currents allow."

"One more thing: High Priest Shamiao has been gravely injured by an assassin. I hope you can save him."

With a final heavy flap of her wings, she plunged into the ocean, leaving only a massive spray of white foam behind. Simultaneously, a surge of psychic energy enveloped Feng Che.

The Miracle of Pharmacy

Feng Che reappeared instantly beside High Priest Shamiao.

"Feng Che! Shamiao isn't doing well. My universal antidote had almost no effect," Lance said, his voice trembling with urgency.

"Don't worry, I have a way." Feng Che pulled a palm-sized, high-precision analyzer from his spatial ring. He took a single drop of the Priest's blood. "This device will break down the toxin's molecular structure so I can synthesize a specific cure."

Minutes later, a report flashed on his communicator. "It's a complex neuro-cocktail. I'll brew a base neutralizing agent first to see how he reacts."

Feng Che pulled out several rare herbs and berries—treasures from the Gardenia vaults—and expertly prepared a solution. After Shamiao swallowed the draught, he violently spat out a mouthful of pitch-black blood. Within monts, the grey pallor of his skin began to fade.

"This isn't a place for rest," Feng Che advised. "We need to evacuate. Here is the prescription to fully purge the toxins; he needs to drink this daily for a month. I'll check his progress then."

In this war for Lugia, Feng Che erged as the greatest winner. Not only did he gain the favor of a God, but his bag now contained a Shadow Lugia Egg. A Shadow Lugia's combat potential was more than double that of a standard one, and its typing—Dark/Flying—offered a terrifying new strategic edge.

The Flight Back

Lance placed the stabilizing Shamiao on Dragonite's back, preparing to return to the Bell Tower. Lorelei recalled her Ice Legion, heading back to the Sevii Islands to manage the fallout. Feng Che, Sabrina, and Lt. Surge boarded the stealth jet to return to Kanto.

As Surge took the pilot's seat, Feng Che and Sabrina sat opposite each other in the back. Sabrina let down her hair, the black tresses falling like a silken waterfall to her waist, a faint fragrance filling the cabin. Under the soft interior lights, her face looked like a blooming rose—ruby lips, clear eyes, and a quiet, lunar beauty.

Feng Che rested his chin on his hand, unashadly admiring the view. Sabrina adjusted her hair and caught his gaze. Her brow furrowed slightly. "Is there sothing on my face?"

"Yes," Feng Che said with total seriousness.

"Really? What?" Sabrina reached up to touch her cheek, finding nothing. "You're playing with , aren't you?" She looked at him with a hint of mounting annoyance.

"My gaze," Feng Che smirked.

"Hmph, you really were teasing !" Sabrina mock-punched at him. Feng Che reached out and caught her small, soft hand in his palm.

For a mont, their eyes t, and the air in the cabin grew warm. A faint blush crept across Sabrina's pale cheeks as she pulled her hand away, turning to look out the window.

"Those two really think I'm invisible, don't they?" Surge muttered to himself at the controls. "Ah, well. To be young..."

Team Rocket Headquarters

Back at the base, Sabrina established a secure link with Giovanni.

"Leader, we have successfully prevented Damalanchi from capturing Lugia. The Sea God has vanished into the deep," she reported.

"Well done, Sabrina. Get so rest," Giovanni laughed, his voice full of schadenfreude. "I'd give anything to see Damalanchi's face right now—I bet it's as black as the bottom of a pot. The League lost multiple Elite Specialists today; this is a heavy blow for them."

"We will discuss the details upon your return," Giovanni said, hanging up. He turned his chair toward the window, looking at a frad photograph on his desk.

"Silver..." he whispered, his eyes softening with a rare, hidden pain. "Where are you? Are you still alive?"

Lugia's egg is safe, the League is in shambles, and Feng Che has secured legendary treasures. What should be his next move? Should he head to the Spirit World to find the Soul Crystal for Rowlet, or focus on designing the armor for the newly resurrected Genesect?
