Forging the Death Tank
Over the following days, Feng Che utilized his stash of rare Earth Ore and other high-grade minerals to forge a nearly indestructible suit of armor for the strongest, "brain-dead" Genesect.
He integrated custom brass knuckles onto its hands. These acted as heavy striking gauntlets, but with the press of a hidden trigger, they would eject monomolecular blades as thin as a cicada's wing. On its back, he mounted twin sniper cannons—reminiscent of Blastoise's artillery but with significantly longer range and surgical precision.
The forearms were fitted with dual laser cannons capable of lting through reinforced steel plating. Most importantly, the back housed five specialized modular slots for the Burn, Chill, Shock, Douse, and Torrent Drives, allowing the creature to adapt its elental output to counter any foe.
Feng Che had transford this Genesect into a literal heavy tank.

For the other "deceased" specin, Feng Che designed a lightweight, aerodynamic armor set with elongated, Scyther-like scythe arms. With its thrusters, this version could hit speeds of Mach 2. These two variations beca the blueprints for his Ditto's future transformations.
For the remaining living Genesect in the lab, Feng Che provided standardized plating. The completion of the armor ant the project moved into the final calibration phase. A delighted Dr. Fuji stayed true to his word and "disposed" of the agreed-upon specins—right into Feng Che's hands.
Feng Che had officially obtained his third Mythical Pokémon: The Bug-type Overlord, Genesect.
The League's Ultimatum
Before Feng Che could even leave the laboratory, a new mission arrived—not from Team Rocket, but from the League.

Greetings. Special Investigator and Bug-type enthusiast A-Bo, currently on patrol in Gringey City, has been targeted for assassination by the Stinger Organization.
He is currently missing. You are required to secretly travel to Gringey City to investigate his whereabouts. This serves as your second formal evaluation as a Gym Leader.
Failure will impact your rating. Three failed evaluations will trigger a review of your qualifications to hold the position of Gym Leader.

"Stinger again?" Feng Che frowned. "Is this a real lead, or a trap set by Damalanchi?"
He rembered that wtwo still held a high-ranking researcher from Stinger: Elder Bug. That night, Feng Che rushed back to the Rainbow Nursery in Celadon City.
Shadows in the Federation
At the Kanto League Headquarters, a shocking developnt occurred. Agatha (Kiku) was intercepted by a group of high-level Investigators sent by the Global Pokémon Federation.
"Elite Agatha, per the formal report filed by Kanto President Damalanchi, you are under investigation for collusion with criminal elents," an investigator said, presenting a warrant. "Do not resist. We are authorized to use lethal force."
"Hah! Damalanchi actually had the spine to report ," Agatha sneered. "Fine. Tit for tat."
She pulled a thick dossier from her cloak. "Here is my formal report on Damalanchi's various illegalities."
As the investigator took the files, a small shadow detached from Agatha's feet and slipped away into the vents.
"Agatha, arresting a Regional President requires a Federation High Order," the investigator said politely. "We will review this. If verified, Damalanchi will be taken in as well."
"I have no objections," Agatha replied coolly. "I trust the Federation's 'fairness'."
A similar scene unfolded at Seafoam Islands, where Lorelei was also "invited" for questioning. The League was moving to decapitate the opposition within its own ranks.
The Truth of Gringey City
In the basent of the Rainbow Nursery, Feng Che released the petrified statue of Elder Bug. wtwo's eyes glowed blue, planting a psychic seal of loyalty in the man's mind before restoring him to life.
"Master Feng Che," Elder Bug bowed imdiately.
"Regarding the Stinger Organization. Other than you and the Queen Bee, do you have a list of operatives?" Feng Che asked.
"The Queen Bee founded the group personally. She issues orders unilaterally; I don't know the other mbers," Elder Bug admitted. "Her movents are erratic. I only know her primary team consists of a powerful Pheromosa and a Vespiquen capable of commanding a Beedrill swarm. She always wears a mask and a black cloak."
"Did anyone in Stinger receive a mission to assassinate a League Investigator in Gringey City recently?"
Elder Bug pulled a specialized laptop from his bag and bypassed the encryption. "Reporting, Master: there is no such mission on the books. While it's possible a mber went rogue, the Queen Bee executes anyone who takes private contracts."
Feng Che's expression darkened. "Then this isn't a mission at all. It's a setup."
