Was I just... dreaming a bizarre dream?
The dream was completely illogical, with no discernible pattern in the storyline. It was sudden and without any buildup. Sohow, I beca the villain, and then, the dream abruptly ended. I have no idea what happened...
This is the content that Gu Mo, lying groggily in bed, stared at the ceiling for a long while and then carefully sorted out for quite so ti.
And his evaluation of this is... there’s nothing to evaluate.
After all, aren’t dreams like this? Where is the logic to them?
Most dreams are originally without logic, and while dreaming, we often subconsciously ignore the unnatural parts, or rather, we subconsciously accept that setting. It’s not like this is Gu Mo’s first dream, so he understands this point very clearly.
Suddenly appearing sowhere, suddenly eting soone, suddenly tasked with doing sothing...
Sohow running away, sohow being chased by a Monster, sohow knowing what to do...
It’s generally like that, those dreams are also lacking cause and effect, the developnt of the plot can only be described as chaotic. Most people, including Gu Mo, might not be very familiar, but at least they shouldn’t be surprised.
With a strong stretch on the bed, Gu Mo placed a hand over his mouth and yawned loudly. He felt that this dream seed to have affected his sleep quality, because unlike before when he would wake up full of Spirit, now he felt particularly drowsy.
No Spirit, no energy, his body felt so heavy that he didn’t even want to move.
"Oh no, the more I sleep, the sleepier I get, and the sleepier I get, the more I want to sleep..."
He murmured, feeling that if this continues, there might be a problem. Even though he has already slept for sixteen hours today, he still feels more and more tired, waking up feeling weak all over, as if a new day has just started, but his energy bar is already depleted. What to do?
If this continues, he’s surely going to die at ho, and it would be only after his body starts to stink that soone might find him, right?
He can’t go on like this... He struggled to sit up, yawning repeatedly with sleepy eyes, reaching to the bedside to turn on the bedside lamp.
That’s right, he can’t continue to sleep, he must get up and eat sothing first.
Speaking of which, that nightmare just now was too real; he couldn’t find that shop, which is infuriating to think about, hoping it won’t co true when he goes out later.
Dizzily putting on his slippers, picking up the clothes he prepared yesterday, Gu Mo wobbly left the bedroom and went into the bathroom to start washing and showering... He knew he should hurry up, otherwise, he might not make it, but he just couldn’t gather any enthusiasm.
Not only because his body felt heavy, his limbs weak, and his Spirit lacking, but also because he just had a dream. In the dream, he not only woke up but also went through the process of getting up, with details so clear that he now has a subtle illusion—
Didn’t I just get up? Why am I getting up again?
Probably just that, after all, he was already lethargic, and now he was also a bit impatient, so naturally, he couldn’t muster any enthusiasm.
After taking a cold shower, Gu Mo felt a little more awake, but the feeling of exhaustion was still hard to combat. He slightly suspected whether he was sick because otherwise, he wouldn’t be overwheld by this sudden weakness upon waking up.
But after a careful self-examination, it seed it wasn’t like that...
It feels like he simply gets more tired the more he sleeps, maybe he’s been sleeping too much. After all, sleeping too much can indeed make one feel increasingly fatigued. To be honest, it’s already quite good that this is only now becoming an issue for him.
With this mindset, Gu Mo wobbled to the washstand and started brushing his teeth, his movents repetitive, monotonous, and chanical, like an aging machine.
Half-awake and Spirit in a daze, he brushed his teeth facing the mirror and then... felt like sothing wasn’t quite right.
He couldn’t see his health bar and ID before...
He couldn’t see them in the mirror either, it seed like there was no visual distortion in his own eyes.
But this ti was different. Beside his reflection, new selection options appeared, neatly arranged in the upper right corner of the mirror, appearing comfortable and aesthetic. Each floating box shimred with a pale white light, subtly enhancing its presence and drawing attention.
——"Upgrade."
——"Equipnt."
——"Skills."
——"Appearance."
......
Sothing like that.
Moreover, that wasn’t all, below the mirror, several different options were horizontally arranged, but unlike the part in the upper right corner, the horizontally arranged display below was all garbled, uniformly either "%¥#@&" or "$#%&@", making it impossible to see clearly.
The sound of brushing teeth gradually disappeared, as Gu Mo, completely stopped, stood in a daze.
In the silent bathroom, ti slipped away in the quiet air, until his heart started pounding loudly, and finally, unable to resist any longer, he timidly reached out to try and touch the options in the mirror.
