I'm having a fever?
Unexpectedly hearing such a strange question, Leon couldn't help but raise his hand in confusion and touched his forehead.
Compared to usual... it seems indeed a tiny bit warr? But if I go out on the balcony and let the wind blow, my body temperature can drop by two degrees; this small change, not even half a degree, should be considered normal temperature fluctuation, right?
"Are you having a fever too!"
Seeing Leon touch his forehead without saying anything but showing a sowhat strange expression, Anna couldn't help but tense up imdiately, stood up, walked over, and with slightly cold hands, checked Leon's forehead temperature.
"I'm not sure if it counts as a fever, but it seems a little warr than usual."
While confirming Anna's temperature hadn't changed, Leon felt relieved as she asured his forehead temperature. He then asked with so doubt:
"Anna, why do you think I'm having a fever?"
"Because of your hair."
Looking at Leon's shiny black hair, which had dozens of strands forming a streak of silver, Anna bit her lip lightly and answered with concern:
"Before William had a fever, he was just like you. Suddenly, a few white hairs appeared on his head. Also, those sent to the Charitable Asylum today, they started having fevers after their hair changed color."

Also, I need to head back to the bureau for a bit. I won't be eating at ho today. If I have more travel, I'll have Veronica send soone to notify you."

Though Anna didn't understand why Leon was doing this, she understood from his serious expression that there was definitely sothing wrong behind this moderately-scaled low-grade fever syndro. So, she went over to hold the hands of the two puzzled little ones and then reminded Leon, who was fetching his coat:
"Brother, rember to stay safe."
"Don't worry."
After putting on his coat and quickly leaving ho, Leon entered the mirror world imdiately, traveling rapidly through the mirrored surfaces to catch up with the two female officers.

This anomalous event might not be limited to the capital, but the entire real world! As for the anomaly's source, there's a 90% chance it's related to the Twin Kingdoms!
Recalling the secret that the red-haired director refused to disclose and the "prophecy" left by the Aquarius Director, Leon couldn't help but feel a slight unease in his heart.
The last ti the old Aquarius climbed up to the Watcher's Palace, he ca back once, kidnapping into the Aquarius Palace to replace him as director and giving four cryptic prophecies. After that, his will has been holed up in the Aquarius Palace as a shut-in. He hasn't made any movent since.
The contents of those four sentences prophesied four potential disasters caused by the Slaughter King Association: the lting of the Hexagonal Snow Mountain in the Northern Kingdom, succession issues in the Witch Kingdom, the King Ship of the Thousand Sails Mariti Country turning into a dead zone, and a large-scale massacre in the Twin Kingdoms.
Among them, the situations with the Northern Kingdom and the Witch Kingdom were barely handled by myself; however, there was a mistake with the Thousand Sails Mariti Country. The entire King Ship was dragged off by the Overlords of the Dead Realm and is still stuck in the City of Regret, unsure how to retrieve it, with only the Twin Kingdoms left without any movent yet.
Based on the intelligence gathered during casual chat from the branch chief of the Aquarius Division, among the remaining Twin Kingdoms, most citizens of the West Kalavin Kingdom have white hair, whereas the citizens of the destroyed East Kalavin Kingdom were mostly black-haired, which matches perfectly with the hair colors present among those experiencing low-grade fever symptoms.
In addition, I vaguely rembered a ntion that many black-haired citizens from other kingdoms in the current world are descendants or offspring of the forr East Kalavin Kingdom. Coincidentally, both William and I are black-haired, suggesting that this low-grade fever syndro might be targeting individuals with blood ties to the Twin Kingdoms!
Glancing at a roadside mirror, seeing the streak of white hair at my temple, and recalling Anna's ntion of fever following hair color change, Leon couldn't help but take a deep breath and swiftly entered another street-side mirror.
Though it can't be fully confird yet, this change is very likely the handiwork of the Slaughter King Association. Moreover, Anna is certainly not the only person capable of detecting this anomaly.
According to the "working" protocol between the Virgo Division and the Kingdom, such widespread anomalies are sure to be reported to the police departnt at the earliest ti, and then relayed to the Cleanup Bureau via the police departnt, ultimately appearing on the director's desk.
Linking all of this together, the director's sudden act of cutting off the Slaughter Blood Hair and leaving without a word has its explanation... Upon receiving the information and deducing the source, she decided to head to the Twin Kingdoms to settle past matters once and for all!
