Chapter 2560: Chapter 2561: Using a Cleaver to Kill a Chicken

“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s head over now.” Li Shaoming said.

“Relax.” Qi Jingsi took a sip of beer and smiled:

“I’ve already checked. They’re drinking here tonight. My people are waiting outside for the Liu siblings. Once they’re all here, they’ll co in.”

“They’re in this bar?”

Li Shaoming glanced downward. “Where are they? Everyone downstairs looks pretty normal.”

“I don’t know who the target is exactly, but everything has been arranged. When Zhou Chengtao cos in later, they’ll handle it. We’ll just watch the show.”

“Guess it wasn’t a wasted trip today, haha…”

“By the way, Brother Ming, do you know the owner of T3?”

“I do. What’s up?”

“Do a favor and give him a heads-up. There might be so commotion when things go down later. Ask him to calm down; I’ll explain everything afterward.”

“No big deal, I’ll call him now.”

“Alright.”

Qi Jingsi chuckled, took another sip of beer, and waited for the show to begin.

About ten minutes later, the bar doors swung open, and Zhou Chengtao walked in with a dozen or so people.

He knew full well that today, he wasn’t the starring role and didn’t need to bring too many people along.

“Brother Liu, right this way.”

Beside Zhou Chengtao stood two middle-aged n approximately in their early forties.

One of them sported a 3-7 haircut; his na was Liu Yongcheng.

The other guy, with a buzz cut, was Liu Yongcheng’s older brother, Liu Yongbin.

But Liu Yongbin wore a glove on his left hand. Years ago, while abroad, he lost three fingers, leaving him in perpetual gloves.

Both n had exceedingly fierce expressions and showed not the slightest trace of emotion.

Standing before them, Zhou Chengtao seed like nothing more than an innocent schoolboy.

“We’re all on the sa side; no need to be so formal.”

“It’s the least I could do.”

“Are you certain the target is inside?”

“The guy was arrogant enough to leave his address. I doubt he’d joke about sothing like this,” Zhou Chengtao replied.

“I expect he’s prepared. There are probably quite a few people here that he called in. When the fight starts, you all should keep so distance. Just leave it to the two of us to handle,” Liu Yongbin said.

“I heard he’s dining with over a dozen people. If they all join in, I fear you two might be at a disadvantage.”

“This isn’t so thug brawl where numbers decide the winner,” Liu Yongbin retorted:

“Just as he could fight off twenty of your people on his own, no matter how many co, the two of us can handle them.”

“I see why the Liu Brothers have such a legendary reputation. I’d heard Young Master Qi ntion you before, but seeing you in person, you’re truly different.”

“You’re too kind. After this, we’re friends. If you ever visit Tianjin, give us a call, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.”

“Then it’s settled. Let’s go take care of business before keeping Young Master Qi waiting upstairs.”

“Let’s move.”

The group of over ten headed into the bar.

The bar patrons—n and won alike—instinctively glanced over but quickly returned to their own activities.

“Lin Bro, I think so unfamiliar faces just walked in. Are these the ones coming to pick a fight with you?” Xiao Bing asked.

She and the others were aware that trouble was expected tonight, so they had been keeping an eye on the scene—an occupational hazard for the Central Guards Brigade.

Lin Yi turned to look and saw Zhou Chengtao leading the group.

Lin Yi rubbed his chin, surprised to see Zhou Chengtao here.

Given that he had already been arrested, he shouldn’t be out roaming freely.

Lin Yi frowned in thought; soone powerful must have pulled strings to get him out.

Judging by this, whoever was backing him wasn’t weak. Otherwise, Wu Chunhe wouldn’t dare to take this step.

“If they’re any slower, I might fall asleep. Let’s just wait—it looks like they’re heading over soon.”

“No need to wait; they’re walking toward us right now.” Zhang Chaoyue smirked:

“Though the two leading the group seem different—probably skilled fighters.”

“I’d bet they’re probably E-ranked,” Xiao Bing speculated:

“They must’ve realized they couldn’t handle Lin Bro alone, so they called in reinforcents.”

“Pretty resourceful, managing to find people like that,” Zhang Chaoyue remarked.

anwhile, Zhou Chengtao and his group moved through the crowd and approached Lin Yi’s side.

The surrounding n and won instinctively retreated.

The aura of these newcors wasn’t one of revelry but rather trouble.

Especially the two leading the group—they looked like they were ready to devour soone alive.

The crowd automatically parted, paving a direct path for Zhou Chengtao and his group toward Lin Yi.

“Well, you guys are living it up, drinking Ace of Spades.”

At this comnt, the bar patrons realized that trouble was brewing between these two groups—they were here to settle scores.

“You guys are awfully persistent. After being put in your place several tis, you still don’t know your limits and co looking for trouble.” Lin Yi said.

“No matter what, I’ve been hustling in Yanjing for so many years. If I don’t reclaim my honor, I won’t be able to hold my ground in the future.”

“So you brought reinforcents, ready to challenge ?”

“That’s the idea,” Zhou Chengtao said boldly:

“By the rules, we don’t touch won. Have your ladies step back.”

“Don’t underestimate won—we pull half the weight these days,” Xiao Bing interjected:

“Before you even think about going after Lin Bro, you’ll have to deal with first.”

“You’re actually considering fighting?”

“Certainly,” Xiao Bing said:

“Dealing with scumbags like you doesn’t call for Lin Bro’s involvent.”

Seeing Xiao Bing step forward, everyone was taken aback.

Usually, won would step back in situations like this, but here she was, volunteering.

Upstairs, Qi Jingsi and Li Shaoming were equally surprised to see Xiao Bing take the lead.

“Why is this guy just sitting there? Does he really intend to let a woman handle this for him?”

“Maybe he does.” Qi Jingsi chuckled:

“But Zhou Chengtao and the Liu Brothers aren’t the type to go easy on won—they know how to handle situations like this.”

On the nightclub’s first floor, Xiao Bing stood her ground, facing off against Zhou Chengtao and his group.

“Young lady, this has nothing to do with you. Don’t think your gender will stop —playing the helpless act won’t work here.”

“I didn’t say I was helpless. Feel free to give it your all; you don’t need to worry about .”

Zhou Chengtao frowned, bypassing Xiao Bing to address Lin Yi directly.

“Kid, this is between us. Do you really plan to hide behind a woman? I thought you were supposed to be tough—what happened to your guts?”

“The old saying goes, don’t use a sledgehamr to kill a chicken. You can deal with her first. If you manage to win, I’ll step in afterward.”
