The phenonon was hard to miss. The golden clouds rolling over the mountain even dwarf the sun itself. The weather turned as if it were the arrival of serene spring.
A white jade palace resided above the clouds, spanning across the sky like a floating mountain. Just looking at it would make a cultivator awe, the true qi in their divine see ripple like a restless lake.
What’s even more mystical, that the exact place of the palace was relative to the ground. A person in the Forest City would see the sa as the cultivator in the Yin Lamp City.
" It’s spatial distortion." The elder of a small sect murmured. " It looks like the entire palace has wrapped the spatial fabric around the Great Sky Ruins."
Many cultivators felt distressed because they knew the restriction on the sky was still there. Without flying, how can soone go to the Heavenly Fountain Palace?
" There must be a way. Without it, how can soone go there?"
" Just wait and follow those big sects." One rogue cultivator muttered. " You think they will let go of the chance?"
The other cultivators looked at him as if they were looking at so sage. Indeed, if you can’t move the wooden log ahead, wait till the elephant before you breaks it while crossing the road!
They didn’t have to wait longer. Half a day later, rainbow colored rivers fell from the high clouds, descending on the ground. Several rivers descended, covering all three cities at once.
However, not every place the rainbow river fell was safe.

A loud roar made the cultivators pause their steps as they were charging towards the river.
" Fuck...Is that a Ruin Beast?"
A giant ruin beast covered with oozing shadow qi was looming around the gateway. The face of the beast seed to be hidden behind a portal of darkness, while only two of its eyes were shining with bright, ghastly blue flas.
" Fuck, that beast looks like...A Nine Revolutions of Soul Realm beast."
" Great heavens, what a ruin beast of that realm doing here?"
Suddenly, the ruin beast’s eyes fell on the hiding cultivators. The cultivators shivered as they realized the beast was already aware of their presence.
" Hurry up and retreat! We can’t let-"
Before it could finish its sentence, a sharp pain spread through his body. When he looked below, he realized a pitch black thorn was sticking out of his chest, already pierced his heart.
" It’s...It’s in the shadows..."
One rogue cultivator gurgled a mouthful of blood before his shadow on the ground twitched. As if a giant beast opened its mouth, his shadow opened and dragged him into it. Only a splash of blood remained as the shadow crunched the body.
Similarly, all the cultivators near the beasts were killed by their own shadows; what remained on the ground were so chunks of at and splashes of blood.
Slowly, people started to realize that the rainbow rivers were guarded by powerful ruin demons. However, since there were multiple rainbow rivers, there were different grades of monsters guarding them.
But there were so gates which were simply out in open. When cultivators realized there were gates without dangers, they sward into in.
" Bastards! Who dares to charge in? This gateway is reserved by our River Star Sect!" A man declared as he pulled out a giant saber. " Anyone who dares to cross -"
*PLUFF!*
Blood spurted like a fountain as the man’s head rolled down. A man wearing a black robe descended from the sky, his hand covered with a blue colored qi.
" Those who are standing before the gate, fuck off!" The man spoke in a cold voice. " This place shall be used by-"
" It shall be used by Holy Qilin Imperial Family."
*BOOM! BOOM!*
Before the man could finish, a powerful aura descended from the sky. The color of the sky changed as a giant claw of qiling was hovering above them. Everyone felt a spiritual suffocation, as if the qilin claw was enough to crush them in a mont.
The cloud parted as Jiang Wanxue appeared with her soldiers of the Holy Qilin Empire. She wore an azure blue battle armor, her hair bellowed with the wind, making her stand out like a heroic general.
" Anyone who disagrees, can tell on the face."
" Holy Qilin Empire! You think you can monopolize this gate from out Crimson Ridge-"
" Attack him." Jiang Wanxue spoke in a calm voice, Suddenly, a figure jumped above him, pulling out a spear.
" As you command, Princess!"
The spear buzzed as it turned into multiple volleys of spear qi. The man panicked as he raised his hands.
" Demon Iron Cleaving Claws!"
Four giant claws made from blue qi appeared, trying to grasp the incoming spear qi.
*BOOM! BOOM!*
The man was forced back as the spear qi pierced through the claws, injuring his arms.
" Keugh!"
The man winced in pain as he looked at the man wielding a silver great spear.
" FINE! FINE!" The man shouted, " You win! We don’t need unnecessary bloodshed!"
Jiang Wanxue snorted lightly as she walked forward. " You could have said that earlier. You wasted our ti."
" Let’s go."
As they approached the entrance that appeared after the rainbow river fell down, they could feel the pulsing dao rhy within it. Jiang Wanxue placed her palm on the gate and tried to push it.
*WINGGGG!*
With a jolt, the gate pushed back Jiang Wanxue’s palm.
" Princess!"
Jiang Wanxue raised her hand. " I am ok. It looks like there is so sort of barrier."
" Nevermind, we don’t have any ti for this."
Taking out a glowing orb from her spatial ring, Jiang Wanxue pushed it into the gate.
*BOOOOM!*
Suddenly, the orb turned into a gust of runic chains, rging into the gate. The rainbow colored light around the gate scattered, crumbling the gate in an instant.
" HISSS! That’s a Barrier Breaking Orb!"
" That orb looks like it’s made from at least a King rank Formation Master!"
Cultivators from small families and sects sighed when they saw the scene. The orb was on par with one of the Royal grade treasures, yet Jiang Wanxue used it without any hesitation.
Big powers always have various advantages after all.
But then, an old man appeared behind Jiang Wanxue, looking at the shattered gate with a deep intent.
" It looks like the gate has a self repair function." The old man muttered. " Princess, we must hurry."
Jiang Wanxue nodded as she raised her hand. " Soldiers! March forward!"
The mont they stepped inside, their bodies turned into a stream of radiance, shooting upwards to the Heavenly Fountain Palace.
After everyone from the Holy Qilin Empire went to the Heavenly Fountain Palace, the Crimson Ridge sect hurried next.
" Damn it! The gate is slowly repairing itself!"
" Motherfucker! I was here first! Let go through!"
" Fuck off!"
While trying to tailgate them, a bloodbath started outside the gates.
anwhile, similar things happened everywhere. Bigger sects easily killed the guardian Ruin Beasts and broke through the gates.
Seizing the chance to arrive at the Heavenly Fountain Palace first, it turned into a bloody race.
" Senior Brother, look at the sky!"
" Those blinking lights, are they other people rushing to the Heavenly Fountain Palace?" Lin Xie pointed at the sky. " Senior Brother Long! When are we going to go?"
" Yes! What if they take all the treasures first?"
" All of you, shut up!" Ming Yuexin spoke in a loud voice. " Brother Long must have so plans. Why do you think we are standing outside the rainbow gate?"
Mu Qinglian stood beside Long Ming as they both looked at the gate. Beside them lay the corpse of a Peak stage Harmonization Realm Ruin Beast.
" Hahaha!" Long Ming finally laughed as he slapped his thigh. " To think it’s a hidden test."
Turning around, Long Ming looked at the disciples of Four Seasons Valley.
" This gate isn’t ant to be broken. It’s actually a test to gauge a cultivator’s comprehension."
" Everyone, sit around . I will take you to the palace."
