When Carl's consciousness transferred over, he was still curled up in Mio's palm in the form of a tiny sparrow.

At that mont, a grand welcoming ceremony was being held in the Imperial Holy Capital of the Main World.

The invited Oath players had gathered inside an extrely luxurious manor.

Carl looked around and found that these players included not only mbers of the Do Alliance, but also mbers of the major guilds from Oath.

In short, it was a grand gathering of Oath's top players.

The organizers of this event had spared no expense. Whether it was the Oath officials or the Imperial side, they had arranged the most luxurious reception to welco the strongest among the Saviors.

Carl also quickly spotted Vengeful Blood, who was currently at the center of the banquet.

As the champion of the Trial of Glory and the leader of Oath's number one guild, her life in Oath had successfully reached its peak.

Imperial powerhouses, nobles, and the next gacha banner character, the Princess, were all gathered around Vengeful Blood, promising her all kinds of benefits outside the ga in order to win her over.

The Oath officials also treated her as their biggest promotional icon. They were preparing to use the fact that Vengeful Blood could easily earn three hundred thousand a month just by playing Oath as publicity to attract even more players into the ga.

Well, Carl had no idea whether this kind of promotion would actually work, but at least from now on, loyal Oath players had one more thing to brag about.

However, Vengeful Blood did not spend much ti socializing in this vanity fair. She soon said goodbye to the Imperial nobles and went alone to a quiet balcony outside the manor.

Her Sophia was waiting for her there.

"Champion! Boss, now you're absolutely worthy of the title of strongest Savior, right?" Sophia said.

"Boss? Forget it. I talked to the Imperial side, and they're willing to provide you with the strongest security asures. An Archon-level powerhouse like Madam Calamity is willing to guarantee your safety through a thod similar to the Blood-Enemy Alliance."

At this point, Vengeful Blood leaned against the balcony railing and spoke.

"The Do Alliance's mbership has also reached its highest point since it was founded. There isn't a single guild in Oath that can rival us anymore."

"So as far as Oath is concerned, reaching this point should count as a full clear, right?"

Vengeful Blood could truly say it now. She had completely cleared Oath!

For her, Oath no longer had any goals worth challenging, nor any obstacles that could stop her.

Purely from the perspective of Elysium's Open World, Vengeful Blood had already reached the peak of Imperial power, with one of the Ten Archons personally backing her.

She could easily obtain anything she wanted in this ga world!

Vengeful Blood's goal had been achieved! If Oath were a single-player ga, she would have reached the perfect ending by now and could retire from the ga!

But at that mont, a pitch-black little sparrow suddenly flew onto Vengeful Blood's fingertip.

"Don't you want revenge anymore?"

Carl's voice rang beside Vengeful Blood's ear.

"Revenge? Revenge against who?"

While Vengeful Blood was still wondering why a sparrow could talk, Carl directly told her the cause and effect of the Plague Torrent, his own plan, and the actions of the Empire and the Oath officials.

In an instant, the complacent expression on Vengeful Blood's face froze.

Then an expression appeared on her face that would make most Oath characters feel chills down their spines.

It was a smile of almost uncontrollable ecstasy.

"Chirp, chirp, chirp!"

Just as Carl wanted to say a few more words, he was suddenly trapped by a pitch-black bubble and instantly flew into Madam Calamity's hand.

"I didn't expect an unwelco little bird to fly in here. I hope it didn't disturb you."

With Carl's current stealth abilities, he had already done his best to stay hidden until this mont before being discovered by Madam Calamity.

Because of Carl's earlier instructions, Mio watched all of this quite calmly.

"What I actually wanted to say was, it's already too late."

When Carl saw Vengeful Blood's uncontrollable smile, he had already more or less guessed the outco.

"What's too late? Savior, you wouldn't abandon everything you've built up in Oath just because of this little bird's temptation, would you?"

Madam Calamity turned her gaze toward Vengeful Blood, who was currently covering her mouth with one hand and barely holding back her laughter.

"What do you an, abandon everything in Oath? Ever since I started playing the Elysium series, I've been looking forward to this mont."

By the ti Vengeful Blood said this, Madam Calamity realized sothing was wrong. She quickly had the Oath official staff step forward to calm Vengeful Blood down.

"Dear Savior, we will be launching more combat events in the future, including content related to purifying the plague, which is also part of Oath's main storyline."

"Events? Main storyline? I've never been interested in any of that!"

As Vengeful Blood spoke, she glanced at Carl, who was trapped inside the bubble.

"At the very least, I've never had any interest in Oath's gaplay."

"My purpose for playing the Elysium series has only ever been one thing, to take revenge for those abandoned NPCs!"

"As long as the Plague Torrent is summoned here, whether it's Oath, the Empire, or even the Holy Nation, none of you will have anywhere to run! You'll be forced to unite and resist the Plague Torrent's invasion!"

"So the Plague Torrent must co! Co for !!"

As Vengeful Blood spoke, the Poké Card with which she had contracted the Abyssal Knight appeared in her hand.

Madam Calamity had already realized what Vengeful Blood wanted to do. One of her hands instantly transford into a dragon claw and struck toward Vengeful Blood.

Unfortunately, it was blocked by the Abyssal Knight that Vengeful Blood had summoned, who drew his sword to stop it.

At the sa ti, the sky above the Imperial Holy Capital shattered.

The endless Plague Torrent surged through the space behind the rift. It was malice condensed into substance, the wails of countless abandoned NPCs, a true natural disaster capable of devouring everything!

But these torrents did not fall onto the streets of the Imperial Holy Capital.

That was because Madam Calamity directly revealed her true form, flew into the sky above the Imperial Holy Capital, and began using her Data Volu to repair the cracks.

"Anan! You actually drew the Plague Torrent here!"

Madam Calamity, who was flying in midair, looked at the spatial rifts cracking open around the Imperial Holy Capital and the terrifying monsters pouring out of them.

At this mont, even if the Oath officials wanted to keep running away, there was nowhere left to go!

They could not exactly jump straight to the main city of Version 3.0. The modeling probably was not even finished yet.

Now, just as Vengeful Blood had said, all Oath players and Netherworld Village players had only one choice. Unite and defend the Super City of Glory and the Imperial Holy Capital.

"Speaking of which, I thought you would make a cool entrance in your dragon form."

Carl flew onto the shoulder armor of the Abyssal Knight beside Vengeful Blood. This Abyssal Knight, of course, was not Anan.

At this ti, Anan was still safely staying in Netherworld Village in the form of a little girl.

"In the early stages of the Plague Torrent, I don't need to go too deep to control it easily. Are you hoping I'll rge with the Plague Torrent and never co back?" Anan said jokingly.

"No. If possible, I'd rather you and your Abyssal Knights stay by the players' side."

Carl glanced at the current situation in Oath's various Open Worlds.

The Empire had already begun withdrawing its troops to focus entirely on defending the Imperial Holy Capital.

While the Plague Torrent raged, Netherworld Village and the City of Glory would no longer be harassed by the Empire and the Oath officials, allowing them to develop peacefully for a while.

But it was likely that both Oath players and Netherworld Village players would soon get busy purifying the various monsters born from the Plague Torrent.

What remained was truly up to the players to choose.

Would they stand with the Empire and use Oath's combat system to crush everything?

Or would they stand with Netherworld Village as true monster hunters, wielding weapons like the long sword, charge blade, switch axe, and greatsword, and fight to their hearts' content alongside their Pokémon partners against the Ancient Dragons born from the Plague Torrent?
