The powerful bosses in the Trial of Glory might look like they get one-shot by 6 5 players whenever those players feel like it, but plenty of players can tell they are just holding back.
If these bosses were actually placed in Extre Abyss, the strength they display after forty thousand points would basically be their true power. Even if a 6 5 player ca along, one tiny mistake would be enough to get them cut down in a single strike.
"Yes. But please bring enough supplies. The stronger the monster, the rarer the materials required to contract it," Carl said.
"Damn it, aaaaah!"
The mont Vengeful Blood heard this, she suddenly clutched her head in extre regret and shouted, completely losing her composure.
"Miss Player?" Carl did not know why Vengeful Blood had suddenly started acting crazy.
"Why didn't you introduce this gaplay earlier?!"
Vengeful Blood grabbed Carl by the collar and shook him relentlessly.

At first, Vengeful Blood had tried to comfort herself by thinking that the main warehouses of the two gas were not connected, so there was no need to feel so conflicted.

She was still thinking about everything too much from a "ga" perspective.
That was right.
The pile of materials in her main Oath warehouse was sitting there, tangible and accessible. If she wanted them, she could just go back and get them.
But thinking about it that way made her previous decision to donate that huge pile of large red and small red Mythic-grade loot to the Church in exchange for Contract Stones and costics seem even more idiotic.
"You, just wait! I'm going back to the main ga!"
With extrely complicated feelings, Vengeful Blood made a trip to her main warehouse in the City of Glory and transported as many materials as possible to Netherworld Village.
Unfortunately, the number of materials she brought over was actually smaller than what she had stockpiled in Netherworld Village.
The main reason was that loot obtained in the main Oath ga could be handed over to the Church with one click in exchange for Contract Stones and outfit points. Other than that, it had no real use.
Every ti Vengeful Blood finished looting, she found sorting everything too troubleso and simply turned it all in with one click.
Vengeful Blood took stock of the pile of materials she had brought over.
They were basically all items she had kept for sentintal reasons or collection completion, ranging from various large red Mythic-grade items to common materials. There was basically one of each.
"This should be enough, right?"
Vengeful Blood calculated silently, unsure how many resources were required to contract those powerful monsters.
"If we're short on resources, we can just go loot more, ow!" Silly Cat encouraged Vengeful Blood at that mont.
Right.
If resources were lacking, just loot more.
But Vengeful Blood was already impatient to enter the map and catch a powerful boss as her pet.
"Heart of Oath, Glory Statue, Sacred Scepter. Is bringing this many Mythic-grade loot items at once a bit too risky? No, contracting a powerful boss and forming actual combat power cos first."
To avoid the awkward situation of finding a monster she wanted to contract but not having enough resources, Vengeful Blood stuffed all her large reds and Small Golds into her backpack.
With Silly Cat's ability doubling her backpack slots, she also brought along a large pile of survival items.
Just like that, Vengeful Blood started another round of Trial of Glory matchmaking.
She headed straight for the area near the Vault in the core zone of the Trial of Glory with Silly Cat and Carl.
"Your target right from the start is an Abyssal Knight?"
Carl and Vengeful Blood hid behind the broken window of a small hut, watching the Abyssal Knights guarding the warehouse in the distance.
He had not expected Vengeful Blood to aim directly for one of the powerful elite mobs in the Trial of Glory.
"It suits my taste better."
Vengeful Blood had actually wanted an Abyssal Knight outfit for a long ti.
That dark knight armor, combined with the oppressive crimson glow shining through the slits of the helt, perfectly matched her aesthetic.
Moreover, the Abyssal Knights were only heavily holding back in the Trial of Glory.
In this season's Extre Abyss, once the score reached forty thousand points, these Abyssal Knights really did cut players down left and right. They were ridiculously strong.
"By the way, how do I check how many materials are needed to contract one?" Vengeful Blood whispered to Carl.
"Just scan it with that blank Poké Card," Carl said, dutifully performing his role as a beginner guide.
"Let see..."
Vengeful Blood took out the blank Poké Card and scanned an Abyssal Knight.

These Contract Spirits were the primary resource sink for players who had already "graduated" from Descent into Netherworld Village.
"Beat it? Can I log into my main account?" Vengeful Blood asked Carl.
If she used her main account, she could kill these sandbagging Abyssal Knights whenever she wanted.
"I'm afraid not. This is gaplay exclusive to Descent into Netherworld Village," Carl said, shaking his head regretfully.
"Figures..."
Vengeful Blood also understood the helplessness in Carl's tone.
With the stingy personality of Oath's official developers, they would never create this kind of free extra progression system.
But for Vengeful Blood to beat one using Villager Mode?
With the shovel in her hand?
Carl's design was actually ant to encourage Vengeful Blood to start by catching low-level wild mobs first, rather than imdiately aiming for a pseudo-legendary-tier Abyssal Knight.
Just as Vengeful Blood was hesitating, that Abyssal Knight seed to sense her gaze and slowly walked toward her.

She swore this was absolutely the most thrilling mont she had ever experienced while playing the Trial of Glory. She probably would not forget it for the rest of her life.
The departing Abyssal Knight also took a deep breath.

Just when Vengeful Blood thought everything was over, an explosion suddenly ca from the Vault.
Players from the main Oath ga had co to raid the Vault.
This was, after all, the richest location in the Trial of Glory. The chance of a battle breaking out here in every match was basically one hundred percent.
That Abyssal Knight imdiately drew its sword and went over to defend it.
