(It’s past midnight again. Working tirelessly, asking for recomndation votes!)

Hu Jing smiled faintly. "Brother Ming, you flatter . These are just petty tricks, and I’m rely borrowing soone else’s ideas."

Inwardly, Hu Jing was nowhere near as calm as she appeared on the surface. The success of her all-or-nothing gambit had completely proven Wang ng’s theory. It was as if he had illuminated the perfect path for her. Her heart was filled with a gratitude she didn’t know how to express.

"Oh? Borrowing soone else’s ideas." Following Hu Jing’s gaze, Mingren’s eyes landed on Wang ng.

"Little Jing!" Wang ng gave her a thumbs-up. Hu Jing always managed to surprise him. Although he had pointed her in a certain direction, not just anyone could have actually done it. Daring to risk it all at the critical mont showed that Hu Jing had a bold and decisive side.

In cultivation, the timid and fearful might survive, but they rarely achieve greatness.

The mbers of Hengshan Hall were completely dumbfounded. What was going on???

They had been backed into a corner!

"Damn it, these guys aren’t just so hired help from Thunderlight Hall!"

"Yeah, are those bastards from Dao Guang Hall? So shaless!"

"They’re treating us like idiots!"

Shenn Tu’s expression turned grim. ’How could this be?’ He knew for a fact that these people were genuine disciples of Thunderlight Hall. While their Elental Power had increased from six months ago, it was still within a reasonable range. But their combat strength was just... unbelievable!

"All of you, shut up!" Tang Wei’s roar was like thunder. "Suo Ming, you’re up. No need to hold back."

"Yes, Boss!" Suo Ming replied in a deep voice, his heart filled with glee. His opponent was the very sa guy who had knocked out his front tooth.

He jabbed his hamr toward Wang ng. "You, get up here!"

Wang ng smiled. "I’m the only one left. If I don’t go, who will?"

"Brother ng, knock out his other tooth! It’ll be more symtrical," Zhang Xiaopang chid in, eager to rub salt in the wound.

"Be careful," Hu Jing said.

"You have to win! Go, go!" Compared to Hu Jing, Ma Tian’Er was far more direct.

When the Hengshan Hall disciples saw Wang ng step up with a broken sword at his waist, they couldn’t help but sigh in relief. The two Talisman Cultivators from Thunderlight Hall had been monstrously strong. It seed the others were as pathetic as ever. Another Talisman Cultivator would have truly kept them on their toes.

"No way. He’s so broke he can’t even afford a real sword? What kind of Sword Cultivator is he?"

"You don’t get it. That’s his style."

"More like a ’broke’ style."

Hengshan Hall seed to regain its vigor. Like unkillable cockroaches, they possessed an optimism no other hall could match.

Zhang Liang, however, paid them no mind. He was carefully observing the reactions of the important figures. ’Details reveal psychology.’

No matter how spectacular the previous matches had been, Li Tianyi had remained indifferent, even dismissive. But the mont Wang ng stepped onto the stage, his entire aura shifted. Though he made no obvious movents, the look in his eyes was completely different.

’The eyes are the windows to the soul. This was my infallible thod for reading people.’

’...And Senior Sister Yang Ying’s windows are so beautiful. They must be the most beautiful in the world. I really want to climb through them.’

Suo Ming slamd his hamrs together with a loud CLANG. "Kid, I let you win last ti! This ti, I’ll show you what I’m really made of!"

’This idiot,’ Tang Wei thought, montarily stunned. ’He’s got a screw loose. If he weren’t actually skilled, I’d have slapped him to death by now. Isn’t this just broadcasting to everyone that he’s lost before?’

’He even managed to lose a tooth while faking a fight. What can you even do with him?’ Shenn Tu thought with a sense of helplessness.

The problem was, Suo Ming didn’t see it that way. ’My Senior and Second Senior Brother both trust ! They’re letting be the anchor! Damn it, I’m going to hamr these little bastards from Thunderlight Hall to a pulp!’

The mont the fight began, Suo Ming roared and charged forward, his Dual Hamrs looking truly magnificent. This ti, he was playing for real.

BOOM...

Wang ng dodged aside as a hamr slamd into the ground. The earth violently exploded, and a ten-foot-long fissure erupted outwards.

Even the Hengshan Hall disciples were startled. "That’s definitely Barbaric Power at the Fifteenth Layer or higher! This Suo Ming..."

This Suo Ming was one of Hengshan Hall’s secret weapons. He seed a bit dim-witted, but when it ca to cultivation, the bastard had incredible dumb luck. Perhaps due to his single-mindedness, his progress was lightning-fast, and he was fearless in a fight. Especially over the past year, and because he was fairly obedient, both Tang Wei and Shenn Tu favored using him. Placing him as the final fighter was a precaution; they never imagined they’d actually have to use him.

Suo Ming’s Dual Hamrs truly possessed the air of an overlord. His style was all offense, no defense. Combined with his physique, he was like a rampaging Demon Beast.

Wang ng, with only the Tenth Layer of Elental Power, looked like a child in comparison and was completely suppressed. A Sword Cultivator’s advantages over a Body Cultivator were agility and their world-renowned Sword Techniques. But forgetting for a mont whether a Tenth Layer cultivator like Wang ng even knew any, Suo Ming likely wouldn’t give him an opening to use them.

Harboring a grudge over his lost tooth, Suo Ming had no intention of giving Wang ng an opening. The last encounter had been a huge loss of face. However, he refused to believe that his opponent could possibly know where his Vital Point was.

Facing Suo Ming’s relentless assault, Wang ng was like a small boat in a raging storm, in constant danger of being capsized and destroyed.

The Thunderlight Hall disciples fell silent. Zhang Xiaopang’s face was contorted with worry. "This guy is actually at the Fifteenth Layer! So shaless!"

"Sixteenth Layer!"

Ma Tian’Er was even more anxious. In her judgnt, soone at the Fifteenth Layer couldn’t possibly execute those moves.

’Wang ng is only at the Tenth Layer!’ Ma Tian’Er was frantic, wishing she could send Red Roar in to rescue him.

Zhang Xiaopang was devastated. "What do we do? What do we do."

’The last fight against Li Tianyi was a blast, but at least Li Tianyi had suppressed his Elental Power. This shaless bastard Suo Ming was obviously just acting last ti! Why isn’t he an actor instead of a cultivator?’

"This won’t do, I..." Zhang Xiaopang took out his Golden Silk Iron Bow.

WHACK... He received a sharp rap on the forehead.

"Settle down and stay put!" Hu Jing commanded.

It wasn’t that she wasn’t anxious, but they couldn’t afford to be reckless. This was Hengshan Hall, with Tang Wei watching them like a hawk. They couldn’t give him an excuse to intervene.

’At a ti like this, the only choice is to trust him.’

’Although Wang ng is in danger, he hasn’t been overwheld by Suo Ming’s tidal wave of attacks. He must be waiting for an opening. As long as he can hold on, he’s sure to find one.’

Hu Jing broke out in a cold sweat. ’This Suo Ming is even stronger and fiercer than Wu Dongjin was. Hengshan Hall’s reputation for strength is no exaggeration.’

Suo Ming was growing furious. ’Why can’t I hit him? Damn it, he’s so slippery!’

The surrounding Hengshan Hall disciples roared wildly. They didn’t care whether Suo Ming landed a blow or not; as long as the fight was a spectacle, they were satisfied.

Others might have found it exciting, but Suo Ming did not. Every ti he swung and missed, he felt a backlash of force. He hadn’t noticed it at first, but it grew more pronounced with each attack.

Every ti his attack missed, it felt as though his hamrs were being guided astray. If he didn’t retract his power, he’d trip and eat dirt. But retracting his power ant forcibly absorbing the majority of the force he had just unleashed.

’But this is Hengshan Hall! It’s a rare chance to look good in front of my Senior and Second Senior Brother! I can’t waste it!’ Suo Ming gritted his teeth and began swinging his two hamrs with even greater ferocity, creating a whirlwind of blows.

On the surface, it was total domination. Utter suppression. It looked as if Wang ng didn’t even have a mont to catch his breath.

"Explode—Dual Dragon Convergence!"
