The sky above the battlefield burned with streaks of light as King Gulben and Laston clashed, their battle now turning the sky into a warzone of silver brilliance and twisted crimson energy.

King Gulben's sword were now glowing with pure silver light. It cut through the air with blinding speed. Every swing unleashed powerful arcs of energy that slashing through the clouds.

His attacks were not just fast, they carried the weight of centuries of mastery, each one aid to end this fight with precision. His body overflowed with raw Magic, his presence illuminating the darkened sky as if he were a star.

But Laston was not the sa Elf who had once resided in the Elf Palace and his brother. He was defeated and disgraced but not anymore.

His power had grown, twisted and reshaped by the strange forces of the world he had conquered. His armor pulsed with an unnatural glow, streaks of neon blue and violet now flickering across his body like unstable lightning. The crimson energy changing.

He now taking out his blade, forged from Elven craftsmanship but also fused with cybernetic energy. The sword crackled as he swung it, leaving trails of distorted space in its wake.

Their swords t, and the impact was devastating.

The sky itself trembled, the clash sending shockwaves rippling through the battlefield below.

King Gulben vanished from sight, his speed turning him into a blur of silver light. He reappeared behind Laston in an instant and swinging his sword in a perfect arc.

Laston twisted in ti and raising his own sword to et the strike.

BOOM!

Another deafening explosion burst from the clash, shattering the storm clouds around them, sending rings of force cascading outward.

King Gulben followed up without pause. He spun, his sword dancing, striking from multiple angles in rapid succession. Each swing left silver afterimages.

Laston grinned, his movents becoming erratic. His energy flared, and suddenly, his body flickered as if glitching out of reality for a fraction of a second.

King Gulben's next strike passed through an empty space as if Laston had never been there.

Then, from the void, Laston reappeared above him, his blade descending with a terrible force.

King Gulben barely had ti to raise his sword before the impact sent him hurtling downward.

A pulse of Magic erupted from him — an explosion of silver light so intense that it split apart the storm clouds above them.

Laston was thrown back, his armor scorched and sparking, but he barely seed fazed. Instead, he let out a low chuckle, rolling his shoulders as he steadied himself midair.

"You don't get it, do you?" Laston said, his voice carrying an eerie confidence. "No matter what you do… no matter how much stronger you beco… you will never win."

Gulben's grip on his sword tightened, his glowing eyes locking onto Laston.

Laston smirked, his arms spreading wide.

"I've surpassed you long ago. I've surpassed all of them. The old world, the traditions, the Elf ways. You're clinging to things that no longer matter." His armor flared with shifting energy, an unnatural mix of Magic and cybernetic power. "I have taken the strength of another world and made it my own. You still fight as you did before… but I have evolved."

The words lingered in the air.

For the first ti, king Gulben hesitated.

They disengaged, floating apart as the chaos of the battlefield raged below them.

King Gulben's chest rose and fell with controlled breaths, his silver aura still burning, but his mind was troubled.

He had given everything in this battle. He had wielded his sword with the full weight of his experience and the power he had gained from inside the hidden dinsion. His Magic overflowing beyond his limits, yet Laston still stood, smiling, and unfazed.

"Is my power… still not enough?" Gulben thought to himself.

Doubt crept into his heart for the first ti in centuries.

The air in the orb chamber was thick with tension, the glow of the Magical orb flickering unsteadily like a dying fla.

Every Mage in the room felt the dread clawing at their chests, their gazes locked onto the ever-growing fractures running along the surface of the orb.

The strain was unbearable. Not just for the barrier itself but for their very souls.

Eccar gritted his teeth as he withdrew most of his Dragonborn Magic from the orb, leaving only a thin stream of energy to keep the barrier outside from shattering instantly. Even with that, the cracks remained.

"What do we do now?" he asked, his voice laced with frustration and urgency. His eyes swept across the chamber, searching for an answer. But none ca.

The silence was suffocating. Aurdis, usually calm even in dire situations, had no words this ti.

Saeldir stood frozen, his hands clenched at his sides. The other Mages looked at one another, waiting for soone to provide a solution.

Then…

BLARR!

A monstrous explosion of black lightning slamd into the barrier once more. The entire chamber shook violently, the impact sending shockwaves through the floor and walls.

The orb scread.

The cracks deepened, glowing faintly as if sothing inside it was breaking apart. Magic energy burst from the fissures in wild, uncontrollable arcs, flashing across the chamber like whips of pure force.

So Mages staggered back, shielding themselves as the chaotic energy lashed out unpredictably.

"The barrier… it's collapsing!" one of the Mages gasped in horror.

Outside, the once-impenetrable shield flickered erratically, its glow rapidly dimming.

The Elves on the battlefield looked up in alarm as they saw the enemy forces intensify their assault, sensing weakness.

The Hexa Cannoneers' cannons humd as they charged for another devastating volley.

Erend stepped forward, his jaw set. "We need to do sothing now, or the entire stronghold is going to fall."

They all looked at him. Knowing what he ant by that.

"I will go there myself."
