The bald man in sunglasses, who had been following her the whole ti, saw his chance. He crept forward and, while the fashionable woman wasn’t looking, pulled a black cloth from his pocket and moved to cover her mouth and nose.

’A mugging?!!!’ The thought instantly flashed through Lin Li’s mind as he watched from a distance.
However, he didn’t rush forward to help. The reason was that he could sense the Spiritual Energy Wave of a Second Rank Initial Stage emanating from the fashionable woman. Her power was far greater than that of the tattooed man and the bald man.
Things went just as Lin Li expected. Just as the bald man, launching a sneak attack from behind, was about to cover the fashionable woman’s mouth and nose with the black cloth...

After seizing the bald man’s right hand, the fashionable woman spun around. With a twist of her wrist, she bent his arm around and subdued him in a reverse hold.
The imnse force of the twist made the burly bald man shriek in pain.
"Hurry, help ... Ahh..." The bald man’s face contorted in agony as he cried out to his partner for help.
"Bastard, let go of my big bro!" Hearing his brother’s cry, the tattooed man snapped out of his daze. Baring his teeth, he rushed forward to the rescue.
The fashionable woman watched the tattooed man charge at her, her expression blank. She lifted one of her long, snow-white legs.
Her left foot, clad in a black high heel, kicked him squarely between the legs.
"THWACK."
With his family jewels utterly crushed, the tattooed man, who had looked so ferocious just a mont ago, crumpled. His features twisted, his face went deathly pale, and he fell to the ground with a thud, stiff as a board.
Then, an earth-shattering, ear-piercing scream erupted from his mouth.
"AHHH... It hurts so bad! I’m gonna die... Sobody help ?!!!"
Lin Li, watching the show from a distance, witnessed the whole thing firsthand. Even though he wasn’t the one who took the devastating blow, he felt a phantom chill in his own lower body, and his scalp prickled.
’What... what a terrifying woman...’ Lin Li stared at the fashionable woman, his face a mask of utter shock.
"Ahhh..." The tattooed man, his manhood wrecked, lay on the ground clutching his groin. He scread and writhed, the intense pain causing snot and tears to stream down his face.
If he had known he would suffer such a horrifying blow, he wouldn’t have dared to rush forward to save his big bro, not even if you gave him a hundred tis the courage.
"You two really made wait. I’ve been lying in wait for days, and I’ve finally caught you both..."
The fashionable woman calmly watched the tattooed man she had kicked in a vital spot and spoke with a serene expression.
"You... You’re an Investigator?!!!" The captured bald man’s heart skipped a beat when he heard her words. He asked in a trembling voice.
"Good, you know. Now that you’ve been caught red-handed, co back with to the Superpower Administration Bureau quietly," the fashionable woman said.
’So she’s an undercover Investigator on a case! No wonder she’s so strong...’ Just as Lin Li was about to skirt around the spot where the undercover Investigator and the two captured thugs were, the situation took another unexpected turn.
A faint golden Spiritual Light appeared on the bald man held by the Investigator. Then, nurous purple scales erged on his skin.
A closer look at the purple scales would reveal that their pattern was similar to a snake’s, but unlike normal scales, these had a tallic sheen.
Under the dim yellow glow of the streetlights, the purple scales covering the bald man’s body reflected a sinister violet light.
"ARGH... Let go of !"
After using his Superpower, the captured bald man’s strength surged. With a mighty struggle, he actually managed to break free from the Investigator’s grip.
"Why are you putting up a futile struggle?" The Investigator showed no sign of annoyance despite the thug breaking free.
The bald man, now covered head to toe in purple scales, was emitting the Spiritual Energy Wave of a peak Tier One user.
He flexed his right arm, the one the Investigator had just restrained, to ease the pain in his joint, all while staring nervously at her.
Although he had used his Superpower while the Investigator was montarily careless and had forcibly broken free, he knew it didn’t an he had any confidence in escaping from this powerful woman.
The emasculated tattooed man had recovered slightly, but he didn’t have the strength to get up. Knowing his own escape was hopeless, he called out weakly to the bald man, "Big bro, don’t worry about ! Just run!"
"Looks like my last kick was too light. You still have the energy to talk." The Investigator glanced at the tattooed man when she heard him urging his brother to flee.
The tattooed man, who had been about to say sothing else, froze when the Investigator looked at him. Terrified she would co over and deliver another kick to his vital parts, he didn’t dare speak again.
The bald man, covered in purple scales, had never intended to escape with his partner in the first place.
Now that his partner had told him to run, he didn’t hesitate. He turned and fled toward a residential area slated for demolition in the distance.
’Huh, that guy’s coming my way...’ Lin Li, watching the Investigator handle her case from afar, saw the purple-scaled bald man running right toward him.
