"I’ll give you thirty seconds. Live or die. Think carefully," the man in white continued his thodical persuasion, putting on an air of benevolence.
If the man in black hadn’t personally witnessed him ruthlessly slaughter so many of his people, he might actually have been fooled by this hypocritical display of rcy.
"..." The man in black remained silent. Though he didn’t believe a word, the situation was not in his favor.
Hearing this, he fell silent. ’He’s right,’ he thought. ’The item in my robes is precious, but when faced with death, nothing is more precious than my own life!’
’But I went through hell to get this thing. I can’t just hand it over. I can’t accept that.’
