A-Train is a man of great willpower; his life philosophy is to be the best and stay on top, no matter the cost.
That mindset led A-Train to the point of using Compound V as if it were steroids. This initially worked, maintaining his title as the world's fastest man. However, everything has a price.
The first price he paid for this philosophy was not borne by him directly but by the victims who suffered because of his state of extre euphoria and uncontrollable stimulation. Among the victims was Hugh Campbell's girlfriend, Robin Ward. Of course, this had a good outco thanks to Allen.
A-Train's fate did not end as well as Robin's. These actions earned him enemies who would eventually take his freedom, forcing him to beco a spy within Vought for them.
That wasn't all.
A-Train's philosophy also sacrificed his health, all for being a bit faster, due to the use of Compound V, his heart was pushed to the limit, nearly causing a cardiac arrest.
And it got worse for him.
The very philosophy that A-Train clung to led him to kill his girlfriend, or at least that would have happened if not for Allen's intervention and consequently, The Boys.
A-Train is a man who, despite suffering all the above, remained faithful to his philosophy: you only matter when you're on top, and he will do whatever it takes to stay there.
Enduring insults and abuses from Holander was also part of the deal, but A-Train even endured Holander breaking his leg. People might think A-Train is a fool for enduring that, but that's the price of being on the Elite Team, among the greats... Starlight couldn't accept that and left him.
Deep was soone like A-Train, after all, he ate his friend/lover to remain among the Seven. This ntality that glorifies their position in the Seven wasn't entirely their fault; it was Vought's. They created the Seven to be the golden throne, making every Supe feel that being there was the ultimate aspiration in their lives.
The Seven are like the Oscars for actors, the Nobel for scientists, or the world championship belt for a boxer.
To humiliate, betray, kill, suffer... what more would one be willing to do?
Everything, at least for A-Train, is like that; he is up for anything.

A-Train left the hospital and saw his brother Nathan Franklin waiting for him.
"What are you doing here?"

Nathan had decided to leave Vought after seeing its true face, which ant no longer being A-Train's trainer. But A-Train didn't take it to heart because deep down he knew Nathan was right to leave Vought, but he had co up from the bottom, from a rough neighborhood, from a life of want. Now he was on top, and he wasn't about to give that up.

A-Train went to his brother's house, they sat on the porch drinking beer.
A-Train watched as his nephews Khamari and Desean arrived. Both saw their uncle as a hero. But Nathan knew the truth and he didn't like that.
After talking for a while, they discussed Blue Hawk, a super who was known for his racism, acting like a cop in the neighborhoods, and known for his brutality.
In the news, he justified the death of a young man who he claid had attacked a woman. However, Nathan knew the boy and he was a good kid.
"Brother, you need to speak up."
"?"
"Yes, you, you're in the Seven, you can't let people like him go unpunished."
"I'm A-Train, I'm like Michael Jordan, not Malcolm X!"
Nathan looked at his brother, knowing it was true. A-Train was a comrcial figure, a movie hero, not a real one, yet he could still do the right thing, Nathan thought, disappointed in what A-Train had beco.

He knew his brother disliked his response and went to talk to Ashley to get an apology, and after a lot of talking, he managed it.
He gathered the relatives of the murdered boy, the protesters, and his brother at the community center to watch this.
Blue Hawk is also a slave to Vought; if they tell him to apologize, he will, but not out of conscience or remorse.

A-Train had lost the relationship with his blood family; this realization filled him with resentnt against Blue Hawk, and he went looking for him.

Maeve shook her head, "Allen, we should find Tessa and get out of here fast..."

The stars-and-stripes cape fluttered as Holander stood up.
"I always dislike seeing you, brat," said Holander.
On the other side, Sam looked at Allen with uncontrollable anger, "WHERE'S THE BLONDE BITCH?!"
Allen narrowed his eyes dangerously, "Careful with your words Sam Riordan... might be the last thing you say if you call my wife that."
Allen expanded an electromagnetic field while the atmosphere grew tense.

She usually uses avatars, won she possesses, to step into the earthly world. Each ti she descends, she seeks out Gilgash to avenge her humiliation, however, Gilgash defeats her and sends her back to the heavens each ti.
"Shut up! This ti I will defeat you for deceiving !"
"It wasn't my fault you were too stupid to notice!"
"Everyone, including you, calls you King and not Queen, IT'S NOT MY FAULT!"
Gilgash felt a headache coming on. How could she be so unlucky?
"Silence, Goddess!, you are not worthy of my love or my ti!"

Gilgash summoned a golden book. Ishtar grew nervous, but this ti, she did not attack because she received a notification that Allen had started streaming again.
Her crimson eyes lit up, and her lips curved before she sat back down. At that mont, the golden queen completely ignored the goddess Ishtar.
"What's wrong with her?..." Ishtar landed awkwardly on the ground.
"Hee Hee~ our King behaves like this when her admired person appears~" said Siduri, approaching Ishtar.
