Qiao Xixi looked at the sleeping Sunxiao, too shocked for words.

Before Qiao Xixi could respond, he had carried her to the other wooden bed.

After getting all the seeds, Qiao Xixi picked out several kinds suitable for planting this season, set them aside, and then leaned against Sangze and closed her eyes.
Qiao Xixi didn’t sleep for long before she was startled awake by a heartbeat so loud beside her ear she couldn’t ignore it.
She opened her eyes in confusion, only to et a pair of limpid black eyes.
Qiao Xixi froze for a mont, then gave him a smile. "Morning, Sangze."
Sangze blinked hard, thinking he must be seeing things.
But when he realized he was lying stark naked with Qiao Xixi, his face turned as red as a cooked shrimp, and his eyes beca faintly bloodshot.
Qiao Xixi had never seen him act like this and couldn’t resist teasing him.
She leaned closer, her body nearly pressing against his chest.
Through the thin Jue Sha, Qiao Xixi could clearly feel the searing heat of his skin.
Sangze’s heart beat even faster, so fast it felt like it was about to leap out of his throat.

Sangze looked completely flustered. "Xixi, I..."

Sangze nodded dazedly. Qiao Xixi lowered her eyes and planted a kiss on his collarbone, right on a faint love bite.
In an instant, Qiao Xixi felt his body go rigid.
Seeing him frozen stiff and hearing footsteps in the distance, Qiao Xixi decided to stop teasing him.
She pulled the beast hide blanket up over him, got out of bed, and put on her clothes.
"Hurry and get up. We’ve been out all night."
Sangze pulled the blanket from his face, a disappointed look on his puppy-dog face.
"Oh."
As the two of them erged from the stone house, they saw Sunxiao walking toward them.
"Sunxiao, when did you wake up?"
His crimson, serpentine eyes flashed with a complicated emotion upon seeing Qiao Xixi, but he quickly regained his usual composure.
"I woke up at dawn. I’ll take you back to the inner city, then go hunt with the Hunting Team."
"If you need to go hunting, you can just go. Sangze will take back."
Sunxiao thought for a mont, then nodded. "Alright."
As Sunxiao was leaving, he took out a few pieces of fruit and handed them to Qiao Xixi—the sa ones she had given him yesterday.
Worried that Qiao Xixi was tired, Sangze transford into his beast form and carried her back to the inner city.
However, just as they arrived outside the inner city gate, they saw the cubs lining up to receive food.

"Xixi, aren’t you going back?"
