As soon as the words were spoken, Yun You was slightly stunned and almost instinctively reached out, touching the back of her neck where the Tower Master’s print had once caused trouble for her.

The mark that once clearly existed had disappeared without a trace.

Deng coldly snorted, his tail smacked heavily on the owl’s head, making the latter emit a whining "hoo" sound.
"This little brat dared to leave random marks on my daughter! After I caught him, I gave him a good lesson, and as for the mark, it was wiped clean long ago."
Looking at the owl’s face, full of resentnt and unable to express its anger, and thinking of its fad title "Smiling Awakened", Yun You’s heart stirred, and she couldn’t help but blurt out: "Since it’s called ’Smiling Awakened’, why doesn’t it smile?"
She really couldn’t associate this owl with the words "smiling" as its face was written with "life has lost its love".

The God of Balance, overseeing contracts and fairness, whose doctrine was once the cornerstone of countless comrcial empires; the Master of All Changes, the embodint of wisdom and prophecy, her totem of the double-headed bird guiding countless wayward souls; the Smiling Awakened, enlightening the destined ones, whose mark was once a symbol of opportunities sought after by countless strong individuals.
Their legends are grand, mysterious, or rciful, but regardless, they are etched onto the scrolls of ti.
And at this mont, they gather together, wearing unified clothing, respectfully calling Deng "Mother", acting as stewards, maids...even being treated like amusing pets.
This scene is absurd as if out of a bizarre play, yet it unfolds realistically before her eyes.
She, Yun You, who not long ago was struggling to survive in the underground of Nest City No. 3, fighting for a bite of food, is now standing here as one of them...even, due to "biological" relations, looming slightly above them.
This feeling is like standing at the center of a swirling legend, those once unreachable mythic figures now revolving as stars around her and Deng, composing a strange tableau.
Yet, this sense of unreality arrived quickly and dissipated quickly too.
Yun You took a deep breath, her chaotic thoughts soon becoming clear.
Thinking about it carefully, isn’t this normal?
These servants, though they were once gods leaving immortal legends, Tier Seven True Gods, Tower Masters, embodints of wisdom...yet ultimately they are "legendary" beings, "recorded ones".
And Deng?
Ophelia Moon.
Stargazer.
She was the initial champion, the one who personally ended the Saint, contending with the Monarch, and ultimately created the Death Domain world for self-exile. She is the only living relic among the three sage Death Gods, still retaining self-awareness.
She is the writer of history, creator of eras; her very existence is an epic greater than any divine biography, a legend beyond legends, hero above heroes.
If those gods are creators of legends, historians of history, then Deng, she is the defining entity of legends. She attracts, encompasses these once dazzling stars; she is not one of the stars; she is the singularity around which the stars revolve.
As for herself...
Yun You lowered her head, feeling the vast and boundless power within her like a sea of stars.
Tier Seven True God, this is not an unattainable dream, but the real power she holds now.
She has stepped into that once-mythical domain; she, Yun You, has already beco a walking legend, a newly-born deity.
As a newly-born deity, stepping into this realm created by Deng...transcendent above mortal affairs, becoming one of the stars revolving around the singularity is certainly not an insult, but a rightful belonging.
