Now reading: Chapter 391: Returning to Esta [2] from Idle Tycoon System, a Fantasy novel by Risaliyah.

Arriving at Esta, Noah felt a wave of relief wash over him. He was no longer worried about his imdiate safety or whether leaving the shop would result in assassination attempts.

This was his turf—everybody here knew him, respected him, or at least understood his importance to the kingdom. His strength had grown to levels far too high for any malicious people to pose genuine threats, especially in a human kingdom that lagged significantly behind the highly developed elven territories in terms of power levels.

Despite Noah’s recent efforts to help them evolve through provision of enhancent items and training resources, the human kingdom remained comparatively underdeveloped. Most practitioners here operated at apprentice or adept ranks, with only a handful reaching master tier. The gap between human capabilities and elven grandmaster forces was vast.

Just like before, the shop had materialised in the sa general location it had occupied during previous visits—not exploring new areas but returning to familiar territory within Esta’s boundaries. However, the surrounding environnt continued its remarkable transformation with each appearance.

Noah stepped outside and imdiately noticed the dramatic changes. When he had first arrived in this world months ago, the shop had appeared in a poor alleyway characterised by crumbling buildings, desperate poverty, and the kind of urban decay that ca from neglect and resource scarcity.

During his second return, that sa area had transford into a decently populated and renovated district. The buildings had been repaired, new businesses had opened to serve custors drawn by the mysterious shop’s presence, and general prosperity had begun taking root.

Now? The transformation was so complete that it was almost unrecognisable. The area had evolved into sothing resembling a proper plaza—a bustling comrcial and social hub with paved streets, organised vendor stalls, renovated storefronts, and even decorative elents like fountains and benches that suggested municipal investnt in the district’s developnt.

The economic impact of Noah’s shop appearing repeatedly in this location had created a self-reinforcing cycle of prosperity that elevated the entire neighborhood.

And of course, the mont people spotted Noah erging from his establishnt, word began spreading like wildfire through the crowded plaza. Within minutes, a growing crowd had gathered, people calling out welcos and greetings with genuine enthusiasm.

"The shopkeeper has returned!"

"Lord Carter is back!"

"Thank god, I was worried sothing had happened to him!"

Noah was practically the most popular person in the entire kingdom now—as recognisable and beloved as King Aldric himself, so might even argue more so given his direct impact on so many lives at a personal level.

The poor knew him for his generosity. He had provided free or discounted healing items during crises, and never treated them with the contempt that characterised most nobility’s interactions with lower classes. Stories circulated about his fairness and willingness to help those genuinely in need.

The wealthy and powerful knew him for entirely different reasons—his incredible connection to King Aldric and Princess Elara, his recent elevation to noble title as Viscount Carter, and most importantly, his shop’s miraculous items that could elevate practitioners strength beyond anything else on the market could possibly do. His premium enhancent products had beco status symbols among the elite while also representing genuine advantages.

Adventurers revered him for the life-changing consumables that had saved countless lives in dangerous monster encounters, whether it was the beef jerky, the iced tea or the normal basic bread.

The kingdom guards respected him for the combat enhancent items that had begun flowing to select units, dramatically increasing their effectiveness.

Even the clergy had grudgingly acknowledged his value despite initial suspicion about his mysterious origins, recognising that his healing items had saved lives that normal thods couldn’t match.

Noah waved casually to the gathering crowd, his enhanced charisma making the simple gesture feel warm and approachable rather than dismissive. "Good to be back in Esta. I’ve missed this place."

The response was imdiate and enthusiastic—cheers, questions about what new products he might be offering, requests for appointnts, and general celebration at his return.

Lola erged from the shop behind him, and while she drew appreciative looks for her stunning appearance, the crowd’s reaction to her was notably more reserved. They recognised her as Noah’s powerful companion and guard, soone to be respected but also slightly feared, given the rumours about her demon origins.

Noah scanned the crowd, looking for familiar faces among the masses. He needed to locate Kipp, Alissa, Valeria, and Princess Elara to begin implenting their plan to strengthen key allies.

---

It didn’t take long for the news of Noah’s return to reach his close friends and allies throughout Esta. Within minutes, familiar faces began arriving at the plaza, drawn by reports that the mysterious shopkeeper had finally returned after his absence.

Kipp was among the first to arrive, the young catboy practically sprinting through the crowd with his characteristic enthusiasm. His ears perked forward with excitent as he spotted Noah, and he barely managed to slow down before crashing into him.

"Big brother Noah!" Kipp called out with genuine joy, his tail swishing energetically behind him. "You’re back!"

His eyes showed a mix of pride and relief at seeing Noah safe and whole. The respect and admiration the young catboy held for his ntor were evident in every gesture.

Following close behind ca Alissa, moving with the lean grace that characterised her fighting style. Her silver ears twitched slightly as she navigated through the crowd. The older sister maintained her usual calm, observant deanour, though her eyes brightened noticeably upon seeing Noah.

"Lord Carter," Alissa greeted him with proper formality despite their friendship, her reserved nature making her slightly shy even as happiness at his return colored her voice. "It’s good to see you returned safely. "

Her hand rested naturally on her sword hilt—not from threat but from the swordsman’s habit of always being prepared. Her insane talent for swordsmanship had only grown in recent tis.

Shortly after the cat siblings arrived, Princess Elara appeared with her royal escort, though she quickly dismissed them to approach Noah more casually. Her regal bearing softened into genuine friendliness as she smiled at him.
