The Flower Selling Ghost glared at Josh gloomily, as if she were staring at a third party who had interfered in her romantic relationship.
Just as she was about to make a move, Josh suddenly exclaid theatrically, "Oh my goodness, you don’t have a partner, do you? If that knight isn’t your partner, then darling, how can you settle in this town? It’s a betrayal of love!"
The Flower Selling Ghost turned pale instantly.
The Rose Vine pierced through the chest of the Flower Selling Ghost in an instant.
The Flower Selling Ghost looked at her chest in disbelief and then in Josh’s direction: "You... dare..."
Josh plunged into Yuze’s arms beside her: "So gory!"
Yuze almost threw her out the window.
The Rose proudly retracted its vine, looking at the two of them: "You must convince that you are a couple, otherwise, death awaits!"
Josh and Yuze exchanged a glance, clearly realizing that this Rose monster wasn’t as easy to deal with as the Flower Selling Ghost.
Yuze looked at the Rose: "How do we prove to you that we are a couple?"
The Rose shook its branches, and an eerie, chilling voice sounded: "It’s simple. Put your hands on this leaf. If you’re truly in love, the leaf will glow pink. If you’re lying... the leaf will glow green."
Josh blinked and looked at Yuze.
They had no other options.
Both hands slowly placed themselves on the leaf.
Monts later, the leaf glowed with both pink and green lights.
"Huh??" Josh twitched the corner of his eye, so what does this an?
The Rose’s branches quivered, looking extrely angry.
"The Rose will judge every couple with impure feelings!"
Countless thorns rushed towards the two of them.
Yuze grabbed the person next to him and jumped out the window.
Josh’s vision blurred, and she was carried on a shoulder.
She couldn’t help but twitch the corners of her mouth: "Captain, I can manage on my own, let down."
Yuze ignored her.
Josh was about to say sothing.
Along the streets, the roses that should have been normal seed to be suddenly enchanted, growing wildly into vines, rolling towards the two from all directions.
Josh inwardly cursed, realizing they were surrounded, and could only fight head-on.
"Prepare!" Yuze’s cold, sharp voice suddenly sounded in her ear.
Josh instinctively tensed her body, and was suddenly thrown like a cannonball, knocking down a large patch of approaching roses.
Josh: "???"
Seeing the toppled little roses, the Rose beca even angrier, and countless vines surged from the ground, rushing towards Josh.
"Yuze! Damn it!" Josh managed to curse, and quickly escaped using Spider Silk.
Yuze had already vanished.

The scent of roses covered the entire town.
Fortunately, spiritual power couldn’t be used, and the Spiritual Body couldn’t be released, but weapons could still be used.
Taking advantage of the convenience of weapons, Josh quickly escaped the Rose Vine’s chase.

Suddenly, she thought of sothing and diverted in another direction.
In a solitary room, Yushi lay obediently in the bed, blinking: "Captain, why are you here again?"
Yuze smiled kindly: "Nothing much, but as a big man, I can’t really squeeze onto a bed with the Little Tactician, can I?"
Yushi thought for a mont and nodded in agreent: "Last ti, Ma Qi said that the Little Tactician was about to co of age, and there would be many n to guard against, so we should all be careful."
Yuze nodded in agreent.
Suddenly, with a bang, the door was flung open.
Josh, who rushed in, locked eyes with Yuze on the bed.
"Yuze!" Josh gritted her teeth in anger.
Yuze raised an eyebrow unexpectedly: "Did you shake off the monster so quickly?"
Josh didn’t have ti to argue with him, the rustling sound of vines crawling on the ground behind her grew nearer.
Without saying a word, she flipped open the blanket, ignoring the yells of Yuze and Yushi, slid next to Yushi, and snuggled closer to him.
The mont the blanket was covered, the Rose Vine rapidly rushed in.
Josh instinctively held her breath, snuggling closer against Yushi.
The Rose Vine scanned the room before flying over the three of them and out through the window.
Josh let out a silent sigh of relief, having to admit that Yushi’s unobtrusive presence was sotis really handy.
"Uh... can you guys, loosen up a bit?" Yushi struggled to poke his head out from between the two.
Barrage: [Laughing to death! My Little Ghost is almost squished into a sandwich.]
Josh looked at the almost squashed Yushi, glaring at Yuze accusingly: "It’s all your fault!"
Yuze: "?"
Josh snorted coldly: "Cold-blooded, heartless guy."
Yushi looked at them: "Don’t be mad, the monster has already left!"
Josh patted Yushi’s head and got out of bed.
Yuze clearly intended to seek refuge with Yushi from the start.
Yushi’s buff was almost ridiculously strong; as long as he didn’t want to be seen, nearly no monster could notice him.
Even the teammates hiding next to him would be well-hidden, as if they were in a pocket dinsion ready at any ti.
The three of them waited safely in the room until dawn.
At the mont the sun rose, the entire town instantly returned to normal.
The town’s residents ca out early to set up stalls. Despite the commotion last night, various players ran around the streets in fright, seemingly not waking any of them.
Josh went downstairs and saw the chubby owner at the counter. Seeing that all three of them were unhard, with not a scratch on them, a hint of suspicion crossed the owner’s face, and he even circled around them repeatedly, sizing them up.
Yuze lazily glanced at him: "Keep staring, and it’ll cost you."
The owner t his gaze and, taken aback, quickly retreated to the side with an awkward smile.
The three of them casually picked a restaurant to enter. As soon as they sat down, the people around them instantly stopped what they were doing and cautiously stared at the trio.
Josh looked at them strangely, not understanding what they were doing.
Yushi, thinking of sothing, "ow"ed and tried hard to minimize his presence.
Only then did the surrounding people slowly retract their gazes, returning to their previous state.
Josh twitched at the corner of her mouth: "..."
So, in this town, you really can’t be alone. Not just being alone—even having an odd number in the team is not allowed.
Josh looked at the two of them: "To break the curse of the town, I think we need to start with the town’s residents. Let’s split up for the investigation."
Yushi blankly said: ", alone?"
Josh smirked, pointing at the person next to her: "You partner with him."
Yushi blinked: "The town doesn’t allow you to be alone, so what about you?"
Josh pulled a small kettle from her bag, opened it, and the Flower Selling Ghost erged.
