Yuze walked to the front desk and displayed a gentlemanly smile: "Good morning, Miss Uffemia."

Uffemia smiled faintly: "Good morning, cute little kitty."

Josh let out a "ow".

Yuze: "..."

Maintaining his poise and an appropriate smile, he said, "I would like to read my cat, or rather, its owner, about the hospital’s founding history. May I borrow so relevant materials for this purpose?"

Uffemia yawned: "You an the ’Hospital Introduction Manual’? Sorry, the last copy was just borrowed by Chef Li from the cafeteria. You can ask him for it."

Yuze smiled slightly: "Okay, sorry to bother you."

The two people and a cat headed towards the cafeteria.

Uffemia watched their backs as a twisted savagery flashed in her eyes.

The cafeteria was already filled with many players.

Screams ca incessantly from the cafeteria.

Many players were so frightened that they scrambled and crawled to escape the cafeteria.

Josh watched these people curiously, a dark gleam passing through his eyes.

It seed like this cafeteria was not simple at all.

As soon as they entered the cafeteria, a chill hit them, mixed with a rusty and freshly mopped bathroom odor.

Josh was looking around when she suddenly felt a lightness in her body. Her teammates vanished, and she fell from mid-air.

Luckily, the little kitty was nimble.

She instinctively landed on all fours, coming down steadily.

"Oh my, what an adorable little kitty~"

A deep male voice ca from behind her.

She quickly turned her head, only to see all the lights in the cafeteria suddenly extinguish.

The surroundings started to ripple and shift like water waves.

A black figure erged from a corner.

It looked vaguely like a chef, with a chef’s hat on his head, a big belly, wearing white clothes, an apron at the front, and holding a kitchen knife.

As the chef approached, the water-like ripples beca more apparent.

Josh watched him warily.

The chef seed to sense her tension and chuckled: "Don’t be afraid, little one, co over, I’ll take you out. This is a dangerous place, not suited for a little kitty."

Josh instinctively felt sothing was wrong and retreated, but instead of the empty space she expected, she backed into a wall.

Though she had just entered the cafeteria, she sohow ended up in a corner against a wall.

The chef quickly squatted down, tossing away the knife, "Little one, you can’t back up any further, co here quickly, I’ll get you out."

"Only an idiot would trust you! You look so nacing!" Josh owed and tried to run to the side.

The chef laughed heartily: "You little kitty, judging the book by its cover? Co over, if you wait for the others to co, it’ll be too late!"

Josh looked at him in surprise, could he actually understand her?

She tentatively asked, "Can you understand ?"

The chef smiled kindly: "Of course, otherwise how could I work in a kitty hospital?"

Josh grew more cautious: "Then I don’t believe you, you’re a cat killer!"

She tried to run to the side.

But the chef suddenly placed his hands on either side of her, his arms flowing down like liquid, blocking her path.

Josh thought things were not good and, looking up, suddenly t a pair of fierce feline eyes inches away.

The chef’s head lowered in an extrely twisted posture, bringing his face close, and his black pupils were pushed aside, revealing vertical cat-like pupils.

The chef showed a bizarre smile, his voice rippling like water waves: "Tell , how did you know I kill cats?"

Josh discreetly stepped back.

The chef’s smile grew broader, his mouth widened like a sharp sickle, extending towards the back of his ears, pulling his nose and facial skin with the curve.

Josh looked at him expressionlessly: "Because your face looks bad. I can tell from your face that not only do you kill cats, but you were also abandoned by your parents since birth, disliked by those around you. You have a pessimistic personality, often sighing and complaining, and the more you do so, the less people like you."

Chef: "..." Suddenly attacked personally.

Bullet comnts: [What the hell is this unexpected twist?]

[What nonsense is she spouting?]

[What’s face reading? Why does it sound familiar?]

[I read a similar novel before, seems like an ancient scam technique from Blue Star?]

[No comnt, utterly speechless.]

Josh continued: "When you were seven, because your grandmother scolded you excessively, you fought with her and accidentally pushed her down the stairs, where she died."

The chef’s body froze, his pupils, pushed aside, dilated rapidly, almost squeezing out the cat eye.

A hollow sound echoed around, like wind flowing through the rippling cafeteria, or wind blowing through a deep canyon tunnel.

Mixed with indistinguishable sharp cries, unclear whether animal or human or both.

Sweat beaded the size of beans broke out on the chef’s face as he seed enraged, his voice squeezed through clenched teeth: "How do you know? Who told you?"

Bullet comnts: [Damn?!]

[She truly guessed it right? Wait, how does she know this?]

[The blind cat stumbled upon a dead rat? No way?]

[Damn it! Things are getting interesting!]

[Woman, you have successfully caught my attention.]

Josh suddenly cald: "I know more than these; I know you lied to your family, saying your grandmother fell by herself. Since then, you started enjoying torturing and killing animals, especially little cats."

The chef revealed a vicious smile: "Do you know why I love torturing and killing cats the most?"

Josh didn’t answer; sotis, it’s hard to guess a pervert’s thoughts completely.

A strange laugh gurgled out of the chef’s throat, "Because, you see, a cat’s scream is closest to a baby’s, especially a little kitty like you."

The chef’s hands kept moving inward, his arms continuously exuded lting liquid, dripping on the floor with a "sizzle" of corrosion.

He grinned ferociously: "I love tornting little kitties like you the most. Should I stab you to death with needles slowly or burn all your fur off with fire?"

The more critical the mont, the calr Josh beca: "Do you want to see your grandmother? She’s standing right behind you."

The chef’s face showed a mont of fear and bewildernt.

Josh knew she gambled right, continued: "Isn’t she wearing a blue cloth shirt?"

The chef’s black pupils dilated instantly, replacing the cat eyes.

Josh instinctively reached out, but found her hand was still a cat’s paw.

She forgot; her current body was feline, rendering her unable to draw any talismans.

The chef shook his head frantically: "Impossible! This can’t be! She died long ago!"

Josh was about to probe further, but suddenly three sharp blades darted from the darkness, swiftly piercing through the Illusion Realm.
