Before she could react, a golden light suddenly flashed before her eyes. Her neck was bitten, and she was instantly lifted off the ground.
The familiar feeling of being held in place swept through her body once again.
When Josh turned his head to look back, Chef Li was nowhere to be seen, and the cafeteria that was like a wave returned to normal.
Surrounding them were patients coming and going for als.
Josh was placed on the dining table.
Yuze lazily poked her: "Not dead, right?"
Josh: "ow..."
Yuze breathed a sigh of relief: "That’s good. If Ma Qi found out our new strategist got killed by a monster right under my nose, he’d kill too."
Josh twitched her mouth slightly. Did he even understand what she just said before responding like that?

He pointed them in the direction.
Yuze thanked him, taking the kitten and Yushi to the freezer.
Chef Li shouted after them: "Don’t stay in the freezer too long, you only have 3 minutes before it closes."
Yuze quickened his pace.
When they reached the freezer, they indeed saw an electronic display on the door showing a countdown to closing.
There were only two and a half minutes left.
Without hesitating, they quickly entered the freezer.
This chef was clearly giving them a hard ti.
The freezer was large, filled with a mishmash of various items, making it extrely difficult to find a small booklet.
Josh jumped out of his pocket.
The temperature in the freezer was too low, making the scent barely perceptible.
Even if Chef Li had handled the booklet, it would be hard to sll anything.
Josh thought for a bit and quickly sent a ssage in the group: [Yuze, speed up. You search the shelves above levels 6-9, Yushi take care of levels 3-6, I’ll handle level 1-3.]
The other two had no objections. They quickly started a thorough search.
The freezer was covered in frost, with humidifiers every ter in the aisles, reducing visibility inside.
Josh quickly searched while her mind raced.
Finding a booklet in such a short ti was almost impossible.

Josh looked up towards the ceiling.
In the corner of the white ceiling, various wires converged.
Before she could say anything, the wires exploded, sparks flying everywhere.
At the source of the electrical lines, Yuze was violently tearing all the wires apart, especially those connected to the main door.

Once the wires were torn apart, the electronic display on the freezer door broke down, and the cooling stopped.

Since they destroyed the freezer, a monster was approaching from outside.
Josh was shaken, dizzy and disoriented, her eyes caught a glimpse of a pile of corpses under the rack in the freezer corner!
All cat corpses, many dismbered!
Her eyes narrowed, her instincts told her, it was a crucial clue!
Josh wanted to struggle but couldn’t move with Yuze biting her neck.
The freezer was connected to the kitchen. When they ca out, they found the chef, food-serving ladies, and janitors all transford into monsters, glaring angrily at them.
Yuze turned and ran, not wanting to tangle with them.
Josh was shaken, unable to move.
She must warn Yuze, next ti he’s not allowed to bite her neck again!
They dashed out of the kitchen, with the monsters furiously chasing them.
Just as Yuze left the ground, the monsters’ attacks hit where he had just stood.
If they were a second slower, they’d be turned into mush by the monsters.
Up ahead was the cafeteria’s service elevator, with an elderly man pushing a heavy cart inside.
Yuze made it into the elevator with Josh.
Yushi followed, but as soon as he entered, the elevator’s overweight alarm went off.
The doors wouldn’t close, and the monsters were almost upon them.
Josh’s heart tightened, her mind raced for a solution.
Then saw Yuze, without saying a word, kick Yushi out.
The elevator doors closed quickly.
Trapping Yushi and the monsters outside.
