After Anastasia said those harsh words to Cobra, and after she saw how they broke him, she left the clinic with tears in her eyes.
As much as she hated seeing him broken, she had to give him a harsh reality check so that he could start acting right.
Discipline and harsh words were very needed in Cobra’s situation.
She wants him in her life, She loves Cobra even after everything he has done.
In her eyes, Cobra is a good person, he just needs her love, her care, and the right guidance which she will provide him with.
She knows that but it does not an it was easy for her to say those words to him.
She got inside the car and rested her forehead on the steering wheel, her eyes burning as they wanted to shed those tears so badly but she kept holding them in.
She started the car and headed to the Packhouse with a busy mind, a worried heart, and a heavy weight on her chest.
She rushed to her room and straight to the shower.
As the freezing cold water ran down her body, she pushed the hair that fell on her face to the back, her eyes blankly looking at the wall in front of her.
The harsh words that she said to Cobra, flashed in her mind, clenching her heart in pain.
The way his big blue eyes only shone for her, that turn doe only for her, got filled with tears and reddened.
Just by looking at his beautiful facial features, she could hear how his heart broke when she questioned his love for her.
How insecure and hurt she made him feel just by two sentences.
Her eyes watered as she growled angrily at herself, her eyes glowed in angry red as she clenched her fist and that wall in front of her was calling her fist.
She slamd her fist against it, causing it to crack, and so pieces of it fell to the ground and were mixed with the water.
" I’m so sorry," she mumbled and rested her head on the sa wall, apologizing to a wall.
She turned the water off and wrapped the robe around her body.
The fact that Liam has not lifted his rejection off of her, makes all this even worse.
Although Liam is here and decided to actually stay with her, she still is not sure if this is a forever thing or just for a short period.
If it is the latter she will not be able to take it, the last pieces of strength she has will fail her.
She does not even want to ask him because first she is scared of the answer and second, she does not want him to feel pressured.
She just wants Liam to want and love her back with his own desire and will.
While standing in front of the mirror in her spacious room, drying her hair with a towel and blankly looking at the emptiness with a busy mind.
" Anastasia?" Liam stord inside the room with a worried expression on his face.
Surprisingly, Anastasia did not even hear him.
He heard her growl, in fact, everyone in the Packhouse did, but Liam said he would go check on her on his own and asked everyone to stay back.
The fact that she did not even recognize his presence and just kept spacing away as her hand worked like a soulless robot drying her hair, only made him ten tis more worried.
"Anastasia?" He whispered gently and approached her slowly, only to be able to notice those tears running down her face.
Seeing raw emotion in Anastasia is so satisfying for Liam, because back then Anastasia had always seed and acted like an emotionless robot.
But now she smiles and giggles sotis, showing her sadness to him.
And as much as he is happy to see her experiencing raw real emotions, the sight of those tears in her eyes stabbed daggers in his heart.
Liam slowly paced closer to her, placing his hand on her shoulder only for her body to flinch and as a normal reflex, she was about to attack him but refrained from doing so when she noticed it was just Liam.
Her mate.
"Oh, Liam." she smiled and even chuckled while trying to hide her tears and wipe them away secretly " Don’t sneak up on like that."
Liam did not smile.
That was not funny.
At all.
The fact that she felt the need to hide her tears was not cool.
"Anastasia, why are you crying?" He asked, with a stoic face.
Anastasia continued drying her hair with the towel and faking a grin " Crying? I was not crying. Sothing got in my eyes and I needed to get it out."
The way Liam kept wearing that stoic face let her know that he did not believe her even in the slightest and that her lie was so obvious.
" I acted like I believed this lie the other day because I knew you were sad since we were going to separate for a while, but I won’t pretend to believe it now." He spoke in a serious yet worried tone.
What he said made Anastasia’s fake smile vanish in an instant as she sighed and dropped the little towel in her hand only to pinch the bridge of her nose " It’s Cobra."
" That fucker, I should have killed him when I got the chance." This only made it worse.
Anastasia looked at him with watered eyes " Please don’t say that. If you had killed him that day, I would not... I don’t want to imagine it. Just... Please don’t say kill, or death in the sa sentence as you or Cobra. I don’t want to lose any of you."
She tried so hard to hold her tears back but could not.
For so reason since she started allowing herself to feel, she started to lose the full control that she had over her emotions.
" Hey, hey. Anastasia. Shh. I got you." Liam whispered and pulled her in a hug.
She closed her eyes, and wrapped her arms around his back, holding him so tight, afraid of letting him go.
He broke the hug and cupped her face to wipe away her tears " I’m sorry, that was my fault for saying that. I was angry with him for making you cry. I won’t do it again. Tell what happened?"
Anastasia allowed him to wipe her tears away as she told him everything that happened that morning at the clinic and explained why she cried for saying those harsh words to Cobra.
Liam listened to her until she told him everything " Anastasia what you did is right. He will understand later, I promise. I know for sure that because of your words, he will take so ti to process your words and act on it, he will get better so that you can bring him out of that suffocated clinic."
Anastasia stared at Liam with reddened eyes and wet lashes while he was cupping her face and caressing her cheeks " You think so?"
" I know so. Blondie will get better, you will bring him out of the clinic and will co here and live with us. Maybe if we are lucky enough he and I will be best friends and have no problem going on, and we will all be happy by the end."
She smiled, a real smile this ti just at the thought of being happy with her two mates " Thank you, Liam."
" Don’t thank yet. Let distract you a bit." Before she could react, or even ask about how he will distract her, Liam lifted her face while still cupping her cheeks and slamd his lips on hers.
She humd against the kiss, closed her eyes, pulled him closer, and held him so tight.
Liam is one hundred percent sure, her arms on his back will leave so bruises afterward.
He liked this idea so much to the point that he thought of taking a picture of his back with the bruises and putting it on his phone’s wallpaper.
"Fuck I love your neck so much." He mumbled after he moved from her mouth to her jaw and ended up on her neck.
Anastasia groaned and lifted her hand to grab a handful of Liam’s short hair and push him closer to her neck.
He kissed her all over and nibbled her ear which made her close her eyes and enjoy this sensation.
And it did in fact kind of make her forget about today.
Liam grabbed the collar of the robe and pushed it aside so that he could continue kissing down to her shoulder, and collar bones, as Anastasia slowly started to walk backward until her back hit the wall.
She could feel Liam’s soft lips, leaving gentle kisses on the skin all over her collarbones and shoulders.
"I missed those so much." He mumbled, biting his lips as he opened her robe revealing her naked body, only to lift his hands and hold her boobs in his hands and squeezed them.
The second he was about to lean closer to catch her nipple in his mouth, Anastasia gripped his neck and stopped him which made him whine.
That whine made Anastasia chuckle and smirk, looking at the despair in Liam’s eyes.
The despair and need to have her boob in his mouth " Strip first."
Liam bit his lower lip and instantly started stripping until he stood butt-naked in front of her.
"Please let ," he begged, whining, that was his oga who whined like this.
Anastasia could not describe how good that made her inner wolf feel, she smirked, finding the way she was teasing him and making him so desperate so amusing, and such a turn her on " On your knees and open that mouth wide open for ."
