"This place looked ordinary to ." Rise road his eyes around, seeing the sa ruins without anything special. He increased his perceptions of the surroundings, and he still could not feel anything, not even a slight sense of danger.
Kamille narrowed his eyes slightly; his gray pupils assessed the place with such deep scrutiny.
"It’s the place Sheena described." He then responded, though he agreed with Rise’s statent.
The place did not look special or particularly dangerous. There were not any piles of corpses. Besides the ruins, which were everywhere in this world, anything that Sheena described was nowhere to be found.
Rise walked around the vicinity; he even flattened so walls that could obstruct his view of the field. After so ti, he frowned slightly and stopped.
No way. It was thoroughly clean. There was no blood... His eyes then flashed at that.
"Did the monstter clean up?" Rise laughed at that though. Since it was absurd. A noble and even in the rank of Count would not clean his ss.
He lifted his gaze and instantly t his Guild Leader’s eyes; their thoughts seed to connect at that mont.
"Soone or rather a group cleaned up the ss here." Rise was the one who voiced out their speculation. After saying that, he let out a huff of laughter, feeling how ridiculous the situation had been.
"These damn traitors." Rise clicked his tongue, annoyed.
Although he did not know how they managed to let out the noble out of his den.
Kamille did not add anything. It was basically obvious that it was what happened. The two fell silent, continuing to find any traces of a gate at least.
The noble should have limitations for their activity; otherwise, they have long destroyed this world.
As he thought of this, Rise suddenly had an epiphany, or maybe nostalgia? He paused and looked around again and again; the scene just reminded him of sothing.
How did he et Danich again? Rise blinked, and he began to recall the mories. Right, wasn’t it the scenario just like this?
"Guild Leader," Rise called in a calm tone, frozen where he stood as he slowly lifted his gaze to lock his gaze with Kamille. "I think I know where is it."
Kamille looked at him for about two seconds before nodding his head. This ti, Rise was the one who led them.
No one was speaking with Rise, concentrating on finding the entrance of a gate in his mory. It was a bit difficult since his mory was of a year later; there were so differences, especially with geography. Not to ntion, every location in this world seed the sa to him.
Kamille was only watching him, his expression unreadable.
Eventually, Rise stopped, frowning heavily as his head throbbed. He then rubbed them and looked behind him where Kamille stood, following him.
"It’s here." Rise then thumped his foot on the ground, expressionless or trying to be one. His heart was already thumping for various reasons.
Kamille’s expression was the sa when Rise spoke and waited, but soon his expression changed, and his pupils shrank slightly. He was truly surprised.
From where Rise stood, mana fluctuation could be felt. However... He could not see any gate appearing.
Rise deeply sighed, ignoring the nervousness that stemd from his experience here. After all, he was truly thrashed for the first ti, so it also left a deeper impression on him.
He looked before him with a complicated gaze.
"I’ll kill those guys again after this," he murmured, pissed.
Rise was taken advantage of by those motherfuckers, so of course he had to make it even twice. They gave him a mission but only treated him as a sacrifice from the start.
Kamille did not react or ask, but was also looking before him.

He knew that True Sight was not omnipotent and that it had restrictions; however, it was rare for him to encounter such an occasion where he did manage to notice sothing like this.
This made him all the more alert.
Rise took a deep breath, calming himself.
"Let’s go, Guild Leader?"
Kamille blinked his eyes and snapped out of his thoughts. He agreed and stepped forward until Rise instinctively clung to his arms. Without saying anything further, the two entered the invisible gate.
From what it looked like, they only stepped forward but soon vanished. After they disappeared, the place soon returned to its calmness.
As soon as they stepped forward together and entered the gate, the view instantly changed. However, it was not too different. Aside from the crimson background, as if they had co to the abyss, there were still ruins everywhere; the corpses piled up wherever one landed their gaze on.
Rise tightly clung to Kamille as he frowned.
"Disgusting."
This gate, or more like a ’monster’s den’ was truly the embodint of the word hell. The first ti he arrived at this gate, he was only tricked by those bastards, not knowing he was entering a trap on his own.
Kamille’s expression turned dark in almost an instant. He breathed and looked at Rise. "Don’t look for too long. It’s dirty."
Rise was not innocent; that much he knew, but that did not stop him from not allowing him to be tainted further if he could.
"Dirty?" Rise repeated, looking around at the piles of corpses, intact and not.
The sight was truly filthy, but Rise had seen far more than it... So were his own doing.
He leaned at Kamille and smiled, staring directly at his eyes. "I can afford to be tainted by this kind of filth."
Rise was not pure and devoid of sins; never would he be.
Kamille could see and understand the implications; falling into silence, he chose not to respond.
Rise smiled at that and did not continue further in this conversation. He looked ahead once more, his pupils glinting.
"I’ll be honest, Guild Leader." Rise licked his lips and embraced Kamille’s arm tightly. "I’m a bit nervous so... cover for later."
Kamille turned to him, suddenly becoming puzzled. Rise’s words sounded sincere, but he was smiling genuinely. Though curious, he nodded as they continued further inside.
Rise sneaked a glance again to Kamille, and his fierce gaze faded, replaced by sentintal fondness.
This gate not only had such a terrible experience for him... It also contained a mory he cherished.
The day Rise felt his heart was about to explode and fell in love, truly fell in love.
No, he did not fall at first sight at Kamille. He found him sexy though, but not enough to devote himself thoroughly for years and even for the next lifeti.
Rise was a very self-centered person; soone’s face card would not be enough to make him fall so hard.
"Is there anyone who knew of your dual personality, Guild Leader Han?" Rise asked in curiosity; he was still looking down at Kamille Han, who now cald down for so reason and not so rabid dog ready to pounce on him.
Kamille, while bleeding at that ti, did not ask aggressively for help just like his other personality had been.
"Will you tell on ?" Even though he asked, he did not seem particularly afraid about that.
Rise beca amused and laughed again. He found Kamille Han not only sexy and attractive, but also interestingly funny.
"No." Rise shook his head. "I never intrude on soone’s business."
Again, Kamille did not have any reaction to that; he had only his head lowered to the ground. After a few seconds, Rise nudged Kamille again using his foot.
"Guild Leader Han, are you still alive?" At his action, Kamille hissed slightly. Rise looked at his foot and saw that he might be... nudging at Kamille’s wound.
"Oops, I’m sorry." He apologized halfheartedly, and then his eyes lit up. "So, you’re still alive."
Kamille was truly speechless like that. He still did not speak, as though he did not want to talk at Rise at all, finding him troubleso, which he was.
"Don’t die on , Guild Leader Han, yeah? Otherwise, I might be implicated in your death. I still enjoyed being a free man..." Rather than Kamille’s well-being, Rise was more concerned with his.
He rambled more to the point of making Kamille surrender, finally saying sothing.
With a cough, Kamille answered in a harsh tone. "You can leave." Rise talked too much, and he wanted to rest.
This much injury seed critical for others, but to Kamille it was still in a range that his self-healing ability could manage, although it might take ti to be healed by an Esper.
"Why do you want to leave?" Again, Kamille did not respond, so Rise continued. "Don’t you want my help?"
Kamille closed his eyes firmly and deeply sighed.
"Do you want to help ?" He asked in a matter-of-fact tone as though the answer was obvious. Since, if Rise wanted to help, he already helped him.
Rise paused this ti, rubbing his cheek, unable to speak.
"Okay, I’ll help you!" Rise clasped his hand and added, "Only if you tell what happened to the gate. I wanted to raid that, but you stole the chance from . So, just tell what kind of gate it is?"
Rise looked at Kamille’s state again.
"It must be such a thrilling gate."
"Just leave."
Rise pursed his lips. "So stubborn? I’m not going to steal your rewards."
"Just leave."
"So stingy with information?"
"Leave."
"Do you also have a parrot personality, Guild Leader?"
Kamille’s temple throbbed; he wanted to rest, and this troublemaker was here to annoy him. "Scram!" He could not help but shout.
Soon, Rise was laughing so hard, and just as Kamille thought that the other was finally leaving, his eyes opened widely, stunned.
Kamille felt heavy at his back... Soone sat on his back.
"You—" He could not finish since he coughed blood again, both from anger and pain.
Rise laughed again and made himself comfortable as he sat on Kamille’s back. "Wow, Guild Leader, you have such an attractive back, and it’s comfortable to sit on."
Shaless as always, Rise’s first eting with Kamille was certainly not a pleasant one.
