Gloria was completely stunned as Vogue suddenly pushed her away with desperate force. Her body flew backward through the air. She landed softly on the sofa in the living room.
Just as she looked to see what was wrong, her confusion imdiately transford into pure, blinding rage as she saw the horrifying sight of a massive blade piercing completely through Vogue’s chest.
The sharp tal erged from his back, dripping with his blood. His eyes rolled back and his body collapsed forward limply like a broken sex doll.
"YOU DARE!?" Gloria’s scread in fury.
"BOOOOM!"
The expensive sofa beneath her body suddenly shattered into pure smithereens, exploding into thousands of pieces of fabric, wood, and stuffing.
An absolutely imnse amount of deadly aura exploded outward from Gloria’s small fra like a grenade exploding!
The shockwave rippled through the air visibly as her body flashed forward, expanding through the air as she moved with the speed if an artillery shell!
The air around her scread and tore apart from the friction of her incredible velocity. Sonic booms echoed through the apartnt as the walls cracked from the pressure.
Frank’s confident expression imdiately changed dramatically when he felt the overwhelming aura that exploded from Gloria’s seemingly delicate body. His eyes went wide with shock and growing fear.
"Shite! An Upper Moon Knight!?" he cursed loudly, his voice cracking with panic.
They had never told him that this random kid nad Vogue had any kind of association with an Upper Moon Knight!
Frank didn’t waste a millisecond and he imdiately activated his Shadow Talent ability, his body blended with the shadows as he sunk into the ground like spilled ink.
"Where the fuck do you think you’re going?" Gloria’s cold voice cut through the air like a blade.
She reappeared instantly on the exact spot where Frank had just been standing monts before.
Her body was now floating in mid-air, completely defying gravity.
Her long hair and white shirt fluttered and whipped around wildly as the air itself tore apart with astonishing speed around her. The wind scread.
Her right hand clenched into a tight fist in mid-air.
An absolutely imnse amount of devastating force began gathering and condensing around her small fist.
The very space around her clenched hand started to tremble and distort visibly like a bow being pulled back to its absolute extre, ready to release.
It looked as though a massive explosion was being compressed and contained within her fist.
The temperature dropped suddenly from the concentrated energy as objects in the room began floating upward from the gravitational distortion.
In that instant, she twisted her waist and punched down with extre force!
"KA-BOOM!!!"
A massive explosion rang out like a missile had just exploded within the small apartnt. The sound was deafening. The entire building shook violently on its foundation.
Enormous shockwaves from that single devastating punch blasted absolutely everything in the apartnt into complete smithereens. As furniture exploded into splinters.
The walls cracked and chunks of concrete flew everywhere. The ceiling also shattered. Every window in the apartnt and several nearby apartnts blew outward simultaneously, raining glass down onto the street below.
The solid concrete ground underneath Gloria’s floating body shattered like it was made of glass!
Debris rose up to the air as shockwaves blasted them in all directions with the force of a bullet.
At that mont, when the dust began to settle slightly, a massive crater approximately five ters wide could be clearly seen in the destroyed ground.
The hole went down through multiple floors. Fresh blood splattered and dripped down the edges of the crater and a severed arm could be seen falling through the air before it shattered into bone dust from the pressure.
It was actually Frank’s left arm and blood. He had been seriously injured by that attack, but he had still managed to escape into the shadows at the last possible second.
Gloria landed softly just an inch away from the edge of the hole. She gritted her teeth and glared down into the dark hole that led to another apartnt below with anger in her eyes, but chose not to pursue Frank as she could use the precious ti to help Levi.
She imdiately turned and flashed to Vogue’s side with speed. Her rage-filled eyes instantly watered with tears the mont she saw Vogue’s blood pooled on the ground around his motionless body. So much blood. The assassin’s blade had completely shattered his heart!
She dropped to her knees beside him, not caring that her legs landed in his blood. Overwhelming grief and deep sorrow filled her entire being like a flood as her hands and body trembled.
She imdiately flashed to her bedroom with enhanced speed, grabbed an entire bottle of precious Lifebeans from her ergency supplies, and returned to Vogue’s side.
She put multiple beans in his mouth hurriedly, trying to force him to swallow. But it was still completely useless no matter how she tried.
Tears stread down her face like a tap. She gently lifted his head with both hands and placed it carefully on her lap.
She glanced down at his wound through her tears, trying to see how bad the damage truly was. Then, quite suddenly, her face changed and she blinked in confusion.
There was blood everywhere, but there was no wound visible anywhere on Vogue’s naked upper body. His flesh was intact!
"W-what? How is this possible?" She was stunned and confused.
She checked his entire torso properly and carefully with her dical training, running her hands over his chest and back. But she genuinely couldn’t find a single mark, scar, or wound anywhere on Vogue’s chest where the blade had clearly pierced completely through. It was as if the injury had never happened.
She almost couldn’t believe what she was seeing. She quickly checked his breathing, pressing her ear to his chest. Her eyes went wide.
Vogue was still breathing! Although his breaths were shallow and slow, he was definitely still breathing and alive.
Gloria felt overwhelming relief and joy flood through her entire body. She quickly wiped the tears from her face with the back of her hand, saring blood across her cheek without noticing.
She gently lifted and carried Vogue’s unconscious body to her bed then laid him down on the soft mattress with care. Then she spent several minutes cleaning all the blood off of his body with a warm, wet cloth, making sure he was comfortable.
When he was clean and resting peacefully, she sat down on the edge of the bed right by his side.
