’Why is this lady so persistent?’ Michael could not help but be left speechless by Carol’s question.
He had not expected that after he had helped her out by giving her pointers on what to improve, she actually wanted to have him tutor her.
First of all, Michael was not that much interested in interacting with Carol. She was a star at the end of the day.
If she was spotted hanging around him, it was inevitable that so rumors would start flying around about them. And, at the mont, Michael did not want to be in the spotlight.
Secondly, it was not as though he had the ti to tutor her. If he was on a break, that implied that he had spent quite a while reading.
But as Michael looked at Carol who was gazing at him with anticipation, he understood that she would not give up. So, he thought of another solution.
"How about this? I will have soone help you out. His skills are way better than mine. Are you interested?" Michael suddenly suggested.
His words left the group dumbfounded. For Alex and the others, they had already heard Michael singing, and they knew how good he was at singing.
As for Carol and the other two who had co with her, they were also surprised. After all, they had seen that Michael had solid information on music.
But now, he was actually claiming that there was soone who was better than him? How was that even possible?
Suddenly, Carol thought of another possibility. Was it possible that this person that Michael was referring to was his teacher?
If it was soone who had taught Michael, then it implied that he had the capabilities of teaching her as well.
It was just that, she was wondering, would the teacher really agree to teach her? After all, at least, she had interacted with Michael. But with this teacher behind Michael, there was absolutely no relationship between them.
"Will he agree?" Carol voiced out her doubts.
"You don’t have to worry about that. I will make the arrangents, and I will give him your contact information. Then, you can make arrangents on what ti you can et for the lessons." Michael shook his head as a responded.
Carol imdiately revealed a bright smile when she heard this. This was an unexpected surprise. But, it was very much welcod.
Still, she thought, there was a possibility that this person that Michael was arranging for her to et with might not be able to teach her as well as Michael did. So, if it did not work out, she would just co to look for Michael.
She understood that by doing this, she was being shaless. But due to her dedication to music, what else could she do? It was not as though she could offer anything to Michael.
The only way to get him to teach her would be becoming shaless enough to make such requests. Otherwise, she might end up not interacting with him if she did not do so.
With that arrangent made, the two of them exchanged contacts, before finally, Carol parted ways with Michael and the group.
And as the group made way towards the parking lot of the KTV, Raymond could not help but question, "Hey Mike, don’t tell you have so designs on her? Maybe you are just taking the long route?"
"Yeah. She is a stunning beauty. And more than that, she is throwing herself at you. How can you resist such a temptation?" Another one chid in.
"Michael, do you perhaps have the intention of forming a harem? You already have Kate. If you take in Carol, that would be two. Then, why don’t you add my sister? Even though she is older, she is still single." Alex suggested from the side.
Michael could not help but glare at the people around him, talking nonsense. He felt that there was no need to respond to these words.
The mont that he said anything, then, it was inevitable that they would begin saying even more outrageous things.
t with Michael’s glare, Alex and the others imdiately shut up. They did not dare to continue joking with Michael again.
"So, where are we going to?" After an extended duration of silence, Raymond could not help but ask.
Initially, they had planned to stay in the KTV until 2 in the afternoon. But due to the sudden change of events regarding Carol, they had no other choice but to leave, and it was just past 11:30 a.m.
"I really did not plan ahead on this. Does anyone have a suggestion?" Alex asked as he scratched his head slightly.
"Now that is troubleso. But, what about going to engage in so racing?" A young man suggested.
"Hey, are you an idiot or sothing? Don’t you see that Michael is here? With his skills, what is the use of racing? Would we not just be providing a platform for him to show off?" Alex imdiately refused the idea.
The others also thought so. With the skills that Michael had demonstrated on that day when he went to the Summit Motorsports Park racing tracks, none of them dared to compete against him.
It was just that, at the mont, they really did not have many ideas on where to go to. Previously, they had planned to spend the ti together until 2 in the afternoon, before everyone went to do their own things.
"How about this? Should we go to Starlight restaurant? There is one located not far from here. We can try out the new dish that they have just released." Raymond suddenly suggested.
The others thought about it, and they nodded. Anyway, it was almost noon. So, they could as well go ahead and get sothing to eat.
With the decision made, they each began getting into their own cars. And as Michael was driving the Audi from the parking lot, Alex drove the Koenigsegg Regera and stopped beside Michael’s car.
"Hey, why are you driving such a car? Don’t tell , you don’t want a sports car? I believe that with your capabilities, you should be able to afford one, right?" Alex asked.
Previously, during their last eting, Michael had given him the Koenigsegg Regera. But today, Michael ca here driving the Audi A8 W12.
When this car was compared to the Koenigsegg Regera, there was a huge difference. And, this was sothing that made Alex puzzled.
He did not believe that Michael lacked money. Not to ntion that he was the owner of Sky Technologies, which has been making quite so waves recently, he had one over $600 million at the underground fighting arena.
With such a huge amount of money, he should be capable of purchasing dozens of sports cars.
"I just want to keep a low-key. And, I have already lost much of the interest on the sports cars. So, as soon as I can move around, I have no problem." Michael responded nonchalantly.
Alex was left speechless by Michael’s response. But even then, he thought that it made sense. After all, since Michael was from a big background, maybe had already driven so many sports cars?
Regardless, even though he himself had already driven several, he actually had no intention of stopping. How could he dislike driving a sports car?
The group then drove towards the location of Starlight Restaurant. Of course, none of them knew that Michael was the owner of this restaurant chain, and neither did Michael have the intention of informing them about it.
In just a few minutes, they arrived at one of the restaurants under Starlight Restaurant chain.
Benjamin was really going all out. Since money was not a problem, each and every restaurant was well renovated, using the best but cost effective decorations.
This was actually the first ti that Michael was paying a visit to this restaurant. Of course, he had already visited the one that was being managed by John, before the expansion began.
And as the group arrived outside the restaurant, they noticed its façade that stood out among the surrounding buildings. Soft amber light spilled through wide glass panels, revealing polished wood and gentle movent inside. The exterior was elegant without being loud, drawing them in with a sense of comfort.
After parking the cars in the designated parking lot of the restaurant, they headed towards the entrance of the hotel. As they approached, the clean glass doors and subtle detailing made the place feel welcoming.
Through the entrance, the interior looked spacious, with tables arranged to allow easy conversation and privacy.
When they stepped inside, a pleasant warmth greeted them. The lighting was soft and balanced, the seating comfortable and thoughtfully placed.
Low music blended with quiet conversation, and the atmosphere encouraged people to relax and linger, as if the restaurant had been designed to make everyone feel at ease.
As he observed the restaurant’s atmosphere, Michael could not help but nod internally. At the sa ti, he understood why many hotel owners were already panicking.
With such an arrangent for the restaurant, and incredible dishes and affordable prices, how many people would not be attracted here?
By now, those big hotels should have already lost quite a number of custors, right?
