Since Michael was out to relax, he thought that it was not a bad idea to visit the golf club. Additionally, among the 29 skills that he had obtained in the previous week, golf skills were included.
Basically, most of the skills that he had obtained during the previous week were mostly for sport and physical activities.
"Sure." Michael nodded
Alex imdiately revealed a brilliant smile the mont that Michael accepted. "Then, what are we waiting for? Let’s go right now!"
"Alex, are you not just too enthusiastic? Right now, the sun is extrely hot. Are you sure that we are going to play under this scorching sun?" Dalton could not help but comnt from the other side.
The others also thought the sa. After all, at the mont, it was still sumr. The sun was still quite hot, though the temperatures had already begun reducing.
But even then, the temperatures were kind of unbearable. How could they play under this sun?
Alex on the other hand simply shook his head as he said, "What do you know? Even if the sun is hot, are you sure that it is going to disrupt our enthusiasm for the golf? As long as you are interested in playing, you might be able to ignore the severe weather conditions."
The others around were left speechless when they heard those words. But then again, they thought, maybe Alex was doing this just to keep Michael around.
Previously, accompanying Michael, most of them have benefited. This ti, maybe they might be able to gain sothing else? Even if they could not gain anything at the end of the day, just forming a connection with Michael was worth it.
And as they thought about it, none of them objected any further. So, the group left the restaurant together, heading for the golf club.
While leaving, Michael did not see John. It seed that John had already left, maybe going to visit the other restaurant chains.
Though, Michael did not pay much attention to that. In any case, he would go to visit the old man later on.
The group left, each one of them driving their own cars, heading for the golf club.
The golf club that Alex was talking about was located in the outskirts of the city. This was sothing that was to be expected, considering that the outskirts of the city usually had most space.
So, it was much more convenient for the golf club, as they would be able to have a larger area for the events.
According to Alex, this golf club was usually open to the public. But, there was a section that was for the VIP mbers only.
And, this golf club was the most prestigious within the city. It was extrely big, and the area that it occupied was also incredibly huge.
For the group to be able to get to the golf club, it took them more than 30 minutes of driving. And when they arrived, they left their cars in the parking lot just outside the golf club, before they entered.
Normally, to enter the golf club, one would need to pay the entrance fee. But with the mbership cards that Alex and the others had, they were easily allowed in.
As for Michael, Alex and the others said that he was also here to acquire the mbership. So, he did not need to pay.
The golf club did not have many buildings. Instead, it just had two buildings. One of them was a one-storey building, while the other one was a three story building.
The one story building was the one that was serving the other people that were not VIP mbers of the golf club. As for the three story building, it was where Alex led Michael to get the VIP mbership.
As for Raymond and the others, they imdiately headed towards the golf course.
The procedure of acquiring the VIP mbership was not that complicated. It just included the paynt for the acquisition and the access to the more advanced facilities of the golf club.
Additionally, the fee itself wasn’t that high. Just $1000, which was sothing that Michael could easily afford. So, the paynt was easily made, and Michael received the VIP mbership card.
With that, the two of them headed towards the golf course. And when they got there, they found that Raymond and the others had already begun playing, having already changed into the golf attire.
It was only at this point that Michael realized that in the VIP section, there was yet another building. And, it was within this building that one could find the golf attire.
For the VIP mbers, the attire was provided for free. Additionally, after using the attire, there was no need to return it.
It was no wonder that the mbership fee was $1,000, with $500 for registration, and the other $500 as the monthly fee.
Spending $500 a month, to ordinary people, that was just too extravagant. But do so young masters like Alex and the others, this was not expensive at all.
When they arrived, Alex and Michael both entered the building, and they were directed where to get the golf attire. And after getting them, they went to the changing room, changed into the outfit, before they went back to the golf course.
At the golf course, Michael did not imdiately participate in the ga. Instead, he watched as Dalton and the others competed against each other.
Of course, not everyone was participating at the sa ti. Instead, at the mont, it was a competition between Dalton and Raymond.
And as he watched, Michael realized that Dalton’s golf skills were not that bad. At least, for soone who was not focused on training on how to play golf, his skills were quite good.
As for Raymond, just by looking at him, he was a clear noob. But, from the way that others were amazed by his skills, it seed that they were even worse off in terms of skill.
After the two of them finished competing, with Dalton winning, they both looked at Alex and Michael. Imdiately, Raymond suggested that the two of them should compete against each other.
This was ant with nods of agreent from the others. They were all interested to see just how skilled Michael was.
But apart from that, they thought, if Michael was so skilled, he would be able to outperform Alex. And if that happened, they could finally rest.
This guy, Alex, was so skilled in so many fields. Even though his skills could not be compared to the professionals, but as compared to them, he was on a whole other level.
But, so far, Michael was able to suppress him. It was not just in terms of racing, but even when it ca to marksmanship. They thought, maybe there was a possibility that Michael was also good at playing golf?
Even though this idea seed to be too far-fetched, they just hoped that this was the case. Unknowingly, they had begun believing that Michael was kind of and all-rounder.
Initially, Michael had wanted to watch as the others played. He was sure that as long as he displayed his skills, the others would not have the heart of competing against him.
But now, since this was what they wanted, what could he do? He could only break their competitive spirit.
And so, the competition between Michael and Alex began. Of course, at first, Michael tried to hold back. It was just that, even though he was holding back, as compared to Alex, his level was just too high.
Considering that Alex was not a professional golf player, how could he compete against Michael, even when he was holding back?
After all, even when holding back, Michael was comparable to so of those junior professional players.
And at the end of it all, Alex was left listless. He had never anticipated sothing like this would happen.
First of all, he had thought, since Michael was so skilled at driving and marksmanship, he would not be so good at playing golf.
But now, he had been proven otherwise. Michael was just too skilled. Even though his skills were not comparable to those top professional players, but it was already above their (Alex and the others) level.
And the second thing that disheartened him was the fact that, Michael was younger. By now, he already knew that Michael was 18.
As for himself, he was a whole 3 years older. He had always been boasting about being one year younger than Raymond, yet he was more skilled than him.
But now, facing such a defeat from soone younger than himself, and not in just one field, how could he continue being proud of himself?
As for Michael, he did not have much of a reaction to the results. In any case, with the skill level that he possessed, it was inevitable that he would outperform Alex.
Good thing, he had not shown the full extent of his abilities. Otherwise, who knows how this group would have reacted.
Additionally, even he himself had realized sothing. If he continued showing extra ordinary skills in many fields, it would definitely raise so questions.
After all, considering his age, how was it possible for him to be so skilled in different fields? Of course, it was impossible for him to possess skills in different fields, but to master them to such an extent, it almost seed impossible.
And for that reason, Michael decided, he would not be showing off his skills to their full extent, unless necessary. Otherwise, it would just cause him unnecessary problems.
At the end of the day, even though he had hidden his information and that of Jonah and the others, they could still investigate. If soone investigated John, and ca to know that he was from Drenn city, they would be able to find so information on him.
And at that ti, so many questions would be brought up. Even though Michael was not afraid of the interrogation, he just did not want his life to be disrupted.
"Let’s leave. There is nothing else to do here." Alex suggested. He just wanted to go back and rest.
As for continuing to compete against Michael, he imdiately thought against that. He was not willing to be humiliated again. To him, being defeated by Michael in everything that they competed, was that not a humiliation?
"Oh, I never thought that I would find you guys here." Suddenly, an arrogant voice reached their ears, attracting everyone’s attention.
