But when they saw how furious Brian was, they finally understood. It seed, there was a conflict between the two of them, which was why Brian was willing to offer that much?
Nevertheless, none of them really cared about what had happened between the two of them. At the mont, all they cared about was the money.
So, with each one of them holding a weapon of their own, they charged towards Michael. At the mont, nobody cared about the skills that Michael might possess, or his background.
All that they cared about at this point was the money that was promised. And considering that there was just one person, and 15 of them, they all rushed, intending to be the first one to get to Michael.
Brian had only said that he would give $10,000 to whoever could break a leg or a hand. But what would happen if three people consecutively broke the sa hand or leg?
Nobody wanted to risk losing the money. Therefore, nobody held back, as they charged towards Michael with reckless abandon.
The first rushed with a bat raised overhead. He was the first one to reach Michael, considering that he was the closest.
As for Michael, seeing the group of people rushing towards him, he acted. He pivoted and delivered a crushing kick to the man’s ribs. The crack was audible even over the music.
The man scread in pain as a collapsed onto the ground, but nobody really cared about his condition, as the others still tried to attack Michael.
A tallic rod stabbed toward Michael’s side. Michael deflected it with his forearm and answered with a tight hook to the attacker’s liver. The man dropped to his knees, the weapon slipping from his grasp.
A knife flashed toward Michael’s abdon. He trapped the wrist and drove his head forward. The impact shattered the man’s nose. The guy collapsed backward, blood spraying across the neon-lit floor.
Another swung wildly from the right. Michael stepped through the strike and struck his fist into the man’s sternum. The attacker’s body seized and fell flat.
Two ca together. One aid high with a rod, the other low with a bat. Michael moved once. He kicked the knee of the one with the bat, the joint snapping sideways, and in the sa motion drove an elbow into the throat of the one with the rod. Both fell before they understood what had happened.
A knife-wielder lunged from behind a table. Michael turned and slamd a palm into the man’s chin. His head snapped back violently; he went limp mid-step.
Another attacker tried to tackle him. Michael brought his knee up sharply into the man’s face. The collision dropped him cold.
A bat whistled toward Michael’s skull. He caught the attacker’s arm and delivered a brutal strike to the side of the neck. The man stiffened and collapsed at his feet.
One man hesitated near the karaoke screen, gripping a rod. Michael closed the distance and punched once into his solar plexus. Air exploded from his lungs; he sank to the floor, gasping.
Two more rushed from opposite sides. Michael struck first, a back fist to the left man’s temple sent him spinning unconscious.
He then pivoted and kicked the right man square in the chest. The impact launched him into a glass table that shattered beneath him.
The twelfth attacker slashed recklessly with a fruit knife. Michael sidestepped and drove his fist into the man’s jaw with incredible precision. The blade clattered on the ground as the guy collapsed.
The thirteenth raised his bat defensively, fear replacing aggression. Michael shattered that defense with a straight punch that crushed into his nose. He dropped without resistance.
The fourteenth charged in desperation. Michael intercepted him with a sharp strike to the throat. The man clawed at the air and fell.
The last stood frozen near the door, a tallic rod trembling in his hands. But, he collected his courage as he shouted and swung blindly.
Michael stepped forward and delivered a single, devastating hook to the side of his head. The rod fell. So did he.
Silence replaced the music, as soone had killed the sound system in the chaos.
And at this mont, everyone, at least those standing, stared with widened eyes filled with disbelief at the group of n that lay scattered across broken glass and overturned furniture.
Previously, Alex and the others had seen just how incredible Michael was when it ca to combat. It was just that, none of them had expected that he was this good.
When he was dealing with Kevin and his underlings, he had done so quite swiftly. But now, seeing him dealing with such a large group of people, with each one of them ard, they suddenly realized that Michael was more than what they had anticipated.
This level of skill, it was definitely sothing that was impossible to find in a teenager. That was unless he was born with so special abilities?
But even then, apart from the surprise and the shock that they had experienced, they were all feeling excited at this mont.
With Michael being able to deal with such a large group of people, at least, they had been saved. So, they thought, they could finally leave this place safely.
It was just that, all the joy that they had in their hearts suddenly vanished when Brian suddenly spoke, reminding them that there was actually a guy with a gun.
"Damn it! So what if you know how to fight?! Can you deal with a bullet?! Since you know how to fight, then fight against the bullet and let see! You, shoot him right now! I want him dead!" Brian shouted in both fear and anger.
Even he himself had never anticipated that there was actually soone with such capabilities. While this group was not a group of professional fighters, they had all engaged in different fights.
While most of them were just so street brawls, but even then, they had quite so experience when it ca to fighting.
Unexpectedly, this group of over a dozen n was not capable of dealing with just a single teenager.
It was also at this point that Brian suddenly understood that Michael was not simple. He realized, he might have really offended soone that he could not deal with.
Most probably, he would need to contact his father. But before that, he thought, it would be a good idea to kill Michael. As long as Michael was dead, what would be there for him to care about?
At least, as long as Michael was eliminated, and his father was inford about this, this issue could be completely resolved. Additionally, with Michael dying, it would be much easier for him to be able to take over Sky Technologies.
It was because of this that he was instructing Hudson to imdiately attack. He could not dare to face Michael in direct combat. So, it was better to deal with him with a gun.
Hudson on the other hand hesitated. With the skills that Michael had demonstrated at such a young age, it indicated a mysterious but deep background.
That was especially considering that until now, Hudson had not managed to unveil Michael’s background. Since that was the case, Hudson was afraid that killing Michael would cause more problems.
Brian could maybe be saved by his father. But what about him? His backer was Brian. But would Brian’s father do everything possible to save him?
Most probably, he would just be the one to take the bla. After all, he would be the one who would have pulled the trigger.
But then again, considering the situation, it did not look like he had any other option. After all, he had already offended Michael through Brian.
And previously, he had sent n to kidnap Michael’s employees. This implied, there was essentially conflict between the two of them.
As he thought of this, he no longer hesitated. He gritted his teeth, before pointing the gun towards Michael with shaking hands.
But just as he was preparing to pull the trigger, in his eyes, an object was already flying towards him. In just a mont, that small object had already grown, and before he could even react, he was suddenly struck in the head.
Caught completely unprepared, he collapsed onto the ground, with his forehead bleeding.
Everyone suddenly looked at Michael, feeling extrely shocked. Nobody had expected that Michael would deal with Hudson in such a way.
Just when Brian had given the instruction for Hudson to attack, Michael had actually used a baseball bat to strike. He used his legs, as though he was playing football, before he kicked the baseball bat flying towards Hudson.
In the end, the guy was not able to react in ti, and was knocked unconscious. As for his current state, it was unclear, and the blood that was spelling from the open wound on his head was continuously accumulating on the ground.
At this point, Brian was trembling all over. Even he had not anticipated that Michael would do sothing like that.
But he was quick to react. He suddenly got up from the sofa, before he quickly rushed towards where Hudson was standing. He intended to take the gun and deal with Michael himself.
Unfortunately, he was still a little late. By the ti that he got to where Hudson was, Michael had already rushed over.
In the end, Brian could only watch helplessly as Michael grabbed him by the neck, before he began strangling him, causing him to choke.
