The voice sounded familiar to Michael, so, he looked towards the source.
Looking over, he was surprised to see that it was soone that he had t and interacted with before.
She wore a light, sleeveless pastel top paired with high-waisted denim shorts and a pair of white sneakers.
A slim ponytail kept her hair off her face, and she wore simple ear protection around her neck.
Even standing among the crowd, she stood out not only in terms of appearance, but also in terms of figure.
The others also looked over, trying to see who it was that was calling Michael. And when they saw who it was, they were just as surprised.
They were not surprised by the person, rather, they were surprised by the fact that she knew Michael.
"Kate, you know him?" Raymond approached Kate and asked with a confused expression on his face.
Until now, neither of them knew about Michael’s background. So, they were surprised that Kate knew about him.
"Yeah. We have interacted before, and collaborated once as well." Kate responded while her eyes were locked on Michael.
She actually surprised by the fact that Michael was here. Was he not still at Drenn city?
But when she thought about it, she rembered, he seed to have so plans of taking the children from the orphanage to sowhere else.
Was the other place that he was talking about Brenton city? If she had known before, she might have helped them co over.
But the thing that surprised her the most was the skills that he had been demonstrating.
She was here for a routine practice for her marksmanship. Previously, when she noticed the crowd gathering here, she did not pay much attention.

At first, she did not pay much attention to his appearance, just focusing on his skills. So, when he walked over, taking off the earplugs and earmuffs, she finally noticed his appearance.
It was just that, he seed to have changed. It was not much of a change in terms of appearance, but his deanor, and the way that he was carrying himself, it looked completely different from before.
He had more confidence, and there was sothing that made him look as though he was extraordinary as compared to the people around him.
What she did not know was that, this was a result of Michael taking the evolution serum. With his body being enhanced to surpass the limits of the human body, of course, sothing like this would happen.
The skills that Michael had demonstrated, were completely unexpected for her. During the ti that they were dealing with Dante and his fellow crooks, Michael did not use a gun at all.
It was only after the other gangsters had scattered that he finally used a gun to torture Dante and the other two.
But at that ti, from the way that he was handling the gun, he seed to be a complete noob. Even though he was able to handle the recoil without much of a problem, that was as a result of his physical strength.
"Hi, nice seeing you again." Michael said with a slight smile on his face.
During the ti that Adrian had given him the information on the families within this city, he had found out that Kate was part of the Morgan family in this city.
Raymond was her cousin, but he was, just like Alex, not most likely to inherit the family business and the position of the family head.
As for Kate, she was so much obsessed with becoming a police officer, which was related to her father. So, it was impossible for her to be able to take over the position of the family head as well.
Still, it was quite surprising for Michael to et her here, as he had not anticipated this.
"Those skills, were you hiding them back then?" Kate suddenly asked as she gazed at Michael deeply.
Even though the first encounter between them had not been good, still, the next few interactions were better. That was especially during the last ti, which was when they collaborated to deal with the gangsters.
The relationship between the two of them had advanced, and it could be said that they were slightly more than acquaintances.
They were definitely approaching the level of friends, though, for this to solidify, they needed to interact a few more tis.
"Kind of." Michael responded without giving a definitive answer.
Of course, back then, he did not possess these skills. But there was absolutely no way that he was going to say that.
Not to ntion if they would believe him, how was he supposed to explain how he had gotten the skills within just less than a month since the last ti that they had t?
"That’s great. Since the two of you know each other, why don’t we go out so that the two of you can catch up?" Alex suddenly suggested.
He was already trying to think of a thod of making sure that Michael would not leave. After all, his sister had not yet arrived, which puzzled him.
He had already tried contacting her, but she was not responding. So, he thought, he had to find a way of keeping Michael around, until his sister arrived.
Now, with Kate here, he thought, since they had not seen each other for quite a while, why not take this chance for them to catch up?
"That’s a great idea. After all, I still need to thank her for her assistance last ti." Michael imdiately agreed.
During the ti that he was dealing with those gangsters, if Kate had not accompanied him, it would have surely been more trouble so to deal with them.
Back then, he did not really have much of a chance of thanking her. Additionally, he did not even have her contact information back then.
But now, since she had popped up in front of him, then, this was quite a good chance for them to do so catching up.
Since Michael had said that, Kate also agreed. After all, she was quite curious about Michael.
Back then, the skills that he had demonstrated, they were not sothing that an ordinary person would have.
That was sothing that was quite puzzling to her, considering that when she arrested him, he was a small accountant for a small gang, in a small city.
And, John had clearly said that Michael was an orphan, who had been taken to the orphanage at the age of 14. So, so things did not make sense to her.
So, she might as well take this chance to ask a few questions, just to see if there was anything that she could understand.
It was not just about how he suddenly got rich, but also the skills that he had demonstrated. Not only unard combat, but even using guns.
With Kate agreeing, it was imdiately decided. The group decided to abandon the subsequent competition involving the other guns, and decided to leave first.
Alex on the other hand made sure to send a text ssage to his sister, informing her that they were leaving.
After they had collected whatever they might have left aside during the ti that they were shooting at the targets, the group collectively left.
Since everyone had co with a car, they all got inside their respective vehicles, apart from Kate. It seed that Kate did not to have a car.
She had followed Michael, and when he was about to enter into the Koenigsegg Regera, she looked at it, stunned.
Even though she did not focus much on things such as luxury cars and other luxury items, how could she not recognize this type of car?
Despite not recognizing the exact model, she knew that it was a Koenigsegg. And just by looking at it, she could tell, it was not cheap.
Just how rich was this guy? Could it be that he had really made a huge fortune? Previously, he seed to have told her that all of his money was given to him by a relative of his.
If that was the case, then how rich was the relative?
Michael, who had just opened the Koenigsegg’s door noticed that Kate had followed him.
He looked at her, slightly confused as he asked, "Did you not co with your car?"
"No. I took a taxi when I ca here. My car is out for service." Kate, coming back to her senses, quickly responded.
"Okay." Michael responded as he got inside the car.
Kate opened the passenger door and also got inside the car. Michael did not stop her, considering that since she had followed him, it was clear that she wanted to take his car.
Kate’s actions left everyone that knew her slightly dumbfounded. She was well known to be soone that was so much focused on being a police officer that she rarely interacted with youngsters like them.
That was especially for the young masters, as she seed to hate them, or maybe she disliked them. But, she was so proactively following Michael, what kind of relationship did the two of them have?
"Raymond, did sothing happen to her?" Dalton, who had driven his car next to Raymond’s, popped his head out of the window and asked.
