"Brother Li!" Zhu Xin shouted in shock when he saw the sudden explosion.
Fu Ting clenched her fists tightly as she stared at the burning flas, her mind struggling to understand what had just happened.
"Hmph, fool." Xiao Fanyun sneered coldly as he looked at the blazing crimson fire. "He actually destroyed his own defensive technique to block my attack."
His lips curved into a mocking smile.
"Even though I did not kill you myself, watching you die in the explosion of your own technique is far more amusing."
The mbers of Li Yun’s group stared at the surging flas in disbelief. The fire continued to burn fiercely, filling the entire area with crimson light and scorching heat.
Xiao Fanyun watched the flas carefully for several seconds, his sharp eyes searching for any sign of movent. However, the fire burned steadily without any disturbance.
After a few monts, he seed convinced of the outco.
"Pathetic," he said with a cold sneer.
He then turned his gaze toward Zhu Xin, Fu Ting, and the others who remained standing nearby.
"Now it is your turn."
He slowly raised his hand and pointed a finger toward them, preparing to unleash the sa devastating Qi finger attack that he had used against Li Yun.
However, just as he was about to strike, he suddenly felt sothing unusual.
A strange yet terrifying energy spread through the air.
Xiao Fanyun imdiately stopped and turned his head back toward the place where the crimson lotus had exploded. The flas were still burning there, but the unsettling energy was clearly coming from within them.
A faint frown appeared on his face.
"Why am I sensing such a strange aura from there?" he murmured quietly.
Just as Xiao Fanyun was wondering about the strange aura spreading through the flas, a calm voice suddenly ca from within the blazing crimson fire.
"Nine Suns Heaven Chasing Arrow. Two Suns."
The mont those words were spoken, a powerful shockwave burst outward from the center of the flas. The violent surge of energy instantly blew away the crimson fire that had been raging in the area.
Within a breath, the sea of flas vanished completely.
As the flas scattered, Li Yun’s figure was revealed once again.
He stood firmly in place with a crimson bow held in his hands. The bow was drawn fully, and two blazing arrows ford from intense fla were already nocked upon the string. The arrows burned with terrifying energy as they pointed directly at Xiao Fanyun.
The ground beneath Li Yun’s feet had been shattered and torn apart. It was impossible to tell whether the destruction had been caused by the explosion of the crimson lotus earlier or by the overwhelming power now gathering within the two flaming arrows.
"You are still alive?"
Xiao Fanyun’s expression finally changed when he saw Li Yun standing there. Shock flashed across his face because he had never expected Li Yun to survive the explosion of his own defensive technique.
"Die."
Li Yun spoke calmly as his fingers released the bowstring.
The two blazing arrows shot forward instantly.
"So what if those arrows release a little energy?" Xiao Fanyun laughed coldly. "With your cultivation at the third level of the Xiantian Realm, do you really believe any attack from you can threaten ?"
Even as he mocked Li Yun, he raised his hand once again and unleashed another Qi finger attack. The massive finger of condensed Qi ford in the air and smashed directly toward the two incoming flaming arrows.
However, Xiao Fanyun had greatly underestimated those arrows.
A brilliant and blazing light suddenly erupted in the air.
The two flaming arrows released by Li Yun transford into two radiant suns as they surged forward. Their light was dazzling and fierce, and their speed was like that of falling teors crashing through the sky. Carrying a violent and unstoppable force, the two blazing projectiles tore through the air and slamd directly into the giant Qi finger.
A sharp cracking sound echoed through the hall.
The two sunlike clusters of blazing light exploded the mont they collided with the massive Qi finger. An endless torrent of radiant energy surged outward like towering waves crashing across the sea. The overwhelming impact struck the giant Qi finger and caused it to tremble violently.
Soon a thin crack appeared along its surface.
Crack.
Another fracture followed.
Crack. Crack. Crack.
The shattering sounds continued to echo as the cracks spread rapidly across the entire structure. When the final fracture appeared, it was like the last straw that broke the balance. The enormous Qi finger could no longer withstand the pressure.
With a thunderous rumble, the entire construct exploded.
Violent and chaotic currents of Qi swept across the hall as the shattered energy scattered in every direction.
However, the destruction of the giant Qi finger was not the end of the attack.
At the very mont the massive construct shattered, a piercing sound cut through the air once again. A streak of pure white light shot forward from within the turbulent energy storm. It tore through the chaotic waves of Qi that filled the hall and rushed directly toward Xiao Fanyun.
The white light rapidly expanded within his pupils.
Xiao Fanyun finally saw it clearly. It was an arrow, gleaming with an extrely sharp and terrifying aura.
"No!"
His expression changed instantly as he raised his palm in an attempt to block the incoming strike.
But he was already too late.
Before his hand could fully rise, the white arrow had already pierced straight through his body. The force behind the strike was so powerful that it drove him backward across the hall until his body slamd violently into the thick stone wall behind him.
The arrow pinned him firmly against the wall.
Even in this state, Xiao Fanyun’s domineering aura did not weaken. His gaze remained cold and sharp as he stared directly at Li Yun.
"I never expected to fall to a re trash at the third level of the Xiantian Realm," he said with a cold laugh. "How ridiculous."
His eyes burned with killing intent as he continued.
"Do not beco arrogant, boy. This body is nothing more than a projection ford from a fragnt of my power. If it is destroyed, then so be it. When my true body erges from seclusion, all of you will die."
His voice grew colder with every word.
"If you have the courage, then never return to the Martial Ascension Gate."
A loud explosion echoed through the hall.
The figure of Xiao Fanyun suddenly shattered into countless fragnts of light that scattered through the air before completely disappearing.
