With that thought in mind, Li Yun prepared to leave his courtyard. He understood clearly that in the path of martial arts, blindly remaining in seclusion without experiencing the outside world would never allow one to truly beco an expert.
Just as he was about to step out, a series of knocks sounded at the courtyard gate.

Ever since he had arrived at Grand Ascension Peak and beco a True Disciple more than half a year ago, he had remained within his courtyard, focusing entirely on cultivation. He had barely interacted with the other True Disciples, so he could not imagine who would co looking for him.
"Who is it? Co in," he called out calmly.
The courtyard gate slowly creaked open, and a slender figure stepped inside.
Li Yun’s eyes widened slightly in surprise when he saw who it was.
It was Mo Chuxue.
"Senior Sister Mo, why have you co here?" Li Yun asked, clearly not expecting her visit.
Mo Chuxue smiled faintly, her expression calm and composed. "You beca a True Disciple before I did, so it is no longer appropriate for you to address as Senior Sister. You should call Junior Sister Mo. Instead, I should be the one addressing you as Senior Brother."
"You have also beco a True Disciple?" Li Yun asked, his surprise deepening.
"Yes," she replied with a slight nod.
During the half year that Li Yun had spent in seclusion, Mo Chuxue, Jin Yuanguang, and Xiao Fanyun had all advanced through their own efforts and successfully earned the status of True Disciples.
Within Martial Ascension Gate, winning first place in the Four Peaks Tournant was not the only path to becoming a True Disciple. There was another route, which was to pass the True Disciple assessnt. Anyone who succeeded in that assessnt could also be promoted.
However, the difficulty of that assessnt was no less than securing first place in the tournant itself.
"I see," Li Yun said, nodding as understanding dawned on him.
He then looked at her and asked, "Junior Sister Mo, what brings you here today?"
Mo Chuxue answered calmly, "The Heaven Mandate Peak Head has been occupied with many matters recently and cannot co to Grand Ascension Peak in person. He asked to deliver a ssage to you. The Hidden Dragon Tournant is about to begin, and he wants you to prepare well."
"Hidden Dragon Tournant?" Li Yun frowned slightly, confusion appearing on his face. "What exactly is that?"
"Senior Brother Li, you really do not know what the Hidden Dragon Tournant is?"
Mo Chuxue looked at Li Yun in clear astonishnt. When she saw that he truly had no idea, she let out a soft, helpless sigh before continuing.
"If you are unfamiliar with the Hidden Dragon Tournant, then do you at least know about the Grand Martial Assembly?"
"Grand Martial Assembly?"
At those words, a sharp light flashed in Li Yun’s eyes. His expression changed as realization began to form.
"Does the Hidden Dragon Tournant have sothing to do with the Grand Martial Assembly?" he asked.
"Yes," Mo Chuxue replied with a nod.
"The Hidden Dragon Tournant is essentially a selection competition. It determines who is qualified to participate in the Grand Martial Assembly. This tournant is jointly organized by the Four Great Sects of the Southern Martial Domain, and all True Disciples from these sects are eligible to take part. Only those who rank within the top one hundred will earn the right to enter the Grand Martial Assembly."
Hearing this, Li Yun felt his heart stir with excitent.
So this was the opportunity he had been waiting for.
The reason he had joined Martial Ascension Gate in the first place was to obtain a chance to participate in the Grand Martial Assembly, then use it as a stepping stone to reach the Eastern Martial Domain. Now that opportunity had finally appeared before him.
He took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down, though the excitent in his heart had not diminished in the slightest.
"Junior Sister Mo, when will the Hidden Dragon Tournant begin, and where will it be held?" he asked.
"There is still one year before it begins," Mo Chuxue answered. "As for the location, it will take place at the boundary where the territories of the Four Great Sects et. There is an ancient city there known as Hidden Dragon City."
After a brief pause, her expression dimd slightly, and a trace of disappointnt appeared in her eyes.
"There is only one year left. While a year may sound like a long ti, it is actually very short for cultivation. If I had another two or three years, I might have a chance to compete for a place in the top one hundred."
She let out a faint sigh.
"But as things stand, I can only participate to gain experience. I have no real hope of entering the top one hundred. To secure such a ranking in the Hidden Dragon Tournant, one would need at least the strength of the ninth level of the Qi Sea Realm."
Securing a place within the top one hundred of the Hidden Dragon Tournant ant obtaining the qualification to participate in the Grand Martial Assembly. Passing the Grand Martial Assembly would then grant entry into one of the four great martial Holy Lands of the Eastern Martial Domain for cultivation.
For countless young Martial Artists across the Southern Martial Domain, the North Martial Domain, and the West Martial Domain, this path represented the ultimate dream.
Mo Chuxue was no exception.
However, she lacked the confidence to compete for a position within the top one hundred of the Hidden Dragon Tournant. Because of this, she believed she would inevitably miss the opportunity to participate in the Grand Martial Assembly. Naturally, such a realization left a trace of disappointnt in her heart.
"That is not necessarily the case," Li Yun said with a gentle smile, his tone calm yet encouraging. "Junior Sister Mo, you are both talented and intelligent. If you cultivate diligently over this next year, there is still a chance. And if you encounter a fortunate opportunity during this ti, your chances of entering the top one hundred will increase even further. You should not underestimate yourself."
Mo Chuxue paused for a mont, then nodded slowly. The discouragent in her eyes gradually faded, replaced by a renewed spark of determination.
"Senior Brother Li is right. The future is uncertain, and anything can happen within a year. As long as I give it my all, I may still have a chance to compete for a top one hundred position in the Hidden Dragon Tournant."
Her eyes burned with newfound fighting spirit as she spoke.
"Senior Brother Li, the tournant is approaching, so I must focus on my cultivation. I will take my leave now."
With that, Mo Chuxue turned and departed without hesitation.
Li Yun watched her figure disappear into the distance, then shifted his thoughts.
"It is ti for to prepare as well," he murmured quietly. "The Red Cloud County awaits."
