Shen Qingshan’s face stiffened. Even though he needed the snake to save a life, he would not stand by and let soone harass his daughter.
Jiang Xingze was completely unfazed. He shrugged and said arrogantly, ", pushing my luck? Do you have any idea who I am? I’m with the Shanye Group! Now that this snake is in my hands, it belongs to the Shanye Group. Your five million is nothing to a corporation like them."
"And you hicks," he added, "don’t even think about trying anything funny. The Shanye Group is not a force to be trifled with."

"Young Master Jiang, what are you talking about? How could a snake possibly speak?"
Jiang Xingze was incredulous. "You didn’t hear it? The snake really spoke! It spoke to !"
"Haha... Has the snake scared you stupid, you brat?"
The crowd of Snake Catchers was also surprised by the snake’s sudden appearance. With so many of them present, what snake would dare to show itself? Was it suicidal, or did it think it was one of the legendary Vampire Snakes?
"Why does that snake look so familiar?"

Waves of discussion and mockery aid at Jiang Xingze swept through the crowd. The Snake Catchers of Bai Town couldn’t do anything to the boy from the Shanye Group, so they had to settle for a little verbal satisfaction.
At this point, Jiang Xingze was too preoccupied to care about their mockery. He asked his n again, "You really didn’t hear the snake speak?"
"Young Master Jiang, stop kidding around. If a snake could talk, it would have to be a spirit."
’I guess I really was just hearing things,’ Jiang Xingze thought, shaking his head. He focused his eyes on the Silver White Snake, and for so reason, a deep sense of foreboding washed over him.
"Put down the Supre Profound Snake. And get lost."
The eerie voice echoed in his mind once more. He shuddered violently, grabbing one of his n. "Listen! The snake spoke again! Did you hear it?!"
His dozen n stared blankly back, first at him, then at the Silver White Snake. The snake simply watched them in silence, not even flicking its tongue.
"Young Master Jiang, stop making a scene. Since it’s a rare Snake Species, just catch it. Bringing it back would be another great achievent for you."
Jiang Xingze’s mind was in turmoil. ’What the hell is going on? Why am I the only one who can hear it talk?’
Then, his expression turned vicious. ’Is soone deliberately ssing with ? Using so cheap trick to make hear things, pretending to be the snake?’
"Hmph. I can’t just let a fine snake like this go," Jiang Xingze sneered. "Catching two rare Snake Species in a single day... who else could pull that off? Haha..."
Clutching the Supre Profound Snake in one hand, he advanced on the Silver White Snake. The closer he got, the more extraordinary the snake seed. He couldn’t even identify its species.
