At Fang Tianhe’s command, a honeycomb-like device on the first Armored Vehicle opened, and one by one, fist-sized tal bees were activated.

Over a hundred bees flew out from the hive. The tal bees’ top speed wasn’t particularly fast, but they were extrely agile. Instead of flying high in the air, they hugged the ground, using obstacles for cover as they rapidly closed in on their target.
These Bee Bombs excelled at traversing complex battlefields to reach an enemy’s core position before detonating.
The explosive power of a single Bee Bomb was at least five tis that of a Hand Cannon Bullet. A swarm this large was more than enough to level the entire area occupied by the Wild Wolf rcenary Corps.
But the Wild Wolf rcenary Corps wasn’t about to sit back and wait for death. They had more advanced scanning equipnt and spotted the Bee Bombs instantly.
Instantly, countless muzzle flashes erupted from between several buildings. A hail of bullets from the spitting muzzles ford a web of firepower, and soon, one Bee Bomb after another was shot out of the air.
In addition, ten spider-shaped chanical creatures erged from the buildings.
Each chanical Spider was the size of a calf—and that was without factoring in their limbs, which were over two ters long. With them included, each chanical Spider stretched over five ters in length.
Each chanical Spider’s abdon concealed a small-scale Electromagnetic Railgun. In addition, the tips of their limbs were as sharp as swords.
Clearly, these chanical Spiders were killing machines, equally proficient in both ranged and close-quarters combat.
"What generation of chanical weapons are these?" Fang Tianhe demanded over the comms channel after witnessing the scene.
"Armor-Piercing Bullets are only scratching their armor. They must be 3rd generation," one of the rcenaries who specialized in military hardware imdiately replied.
Lin Xinghai saw it as well. When their side returned fire, regular bullets simply ricocheted off the chanical Spiders, causing no damage whatsoever.
Even Armor-Piercing Bullets only left thumb-sized craters, and such superficial damage did nothing to impede the chanical Spiders’ movent.
By his estimation, even if they targeted the more fragile limbs, it would take at least ten Armor-Piercing Bullets hitting the exact sa spot to sever one.
But the chanical Spiders had eight limbs. They would have to destroy more than half of them just to immobilize one.
Destroying an entire chanical Spider would be even more difficult, and they were out of ti.
At their current speed, the chanical Spiders would charge into their formation and begin a massacre in a dozen seconds at most.
If he could see this, Fang Tianhe certainly could as well.

Of the hundred-plus Bee Bombs that had rushed the enemy, only 68 remained after flying through the enemy’s curtain of fire.
As the command was issued, they all changed their trajectories and dove toward the chanical Spiders.

A series of explosions erupted, and the ten chanical Spiders were engulfed in shockwaves and flas.
The ground instantly collapsed, and entire rows of houses on either side toppled.
When the flas gradually died down, only two of the ten chanical Spiders were still mobile. Even then, they were so severely damaged that they clearly no longer posed a threat.
"Shen Han, you finish off the remaining chanical Spiders, then provide cover. I’m going over to destroy their cloaking device. If we keep fighting like this, we’ll be at too great a disadvantage," Fang Tianhe ordered grimly.
Hearing Fang Tianhe’s words, a look of sudden understanding dawned on Lin Xinghai’s face. He had thought it was strange how the enemy’s attacks—whether from missiles, chanical Spiders, or Firearms—all seed to appear from thin air. From start to finish, they hadn’t seen a single mber of the Wild Wolf rcenary Corps.
Now it all made sense. The enemy must have a powerful jamming device, combined with optical cloaking equipnt, that allowed them to remain undetected.
This advantage allowed the enemy to hold all the cards. One could only imagine the disadvantage they would be at, even in a simple standoff, if they couldn’t see their opponents.
"Commander, you’d be too obvious a target in your cha. Leave this to ! Get everyone ready. The mont I destroy their optical cloaking device, launch an all-out assault. We need to catch them completely by surprise," Lin Xinghai said over the comms channel.

After all, even if he charged in himself, he wasn’t confident he could destroy the device. More importantly, however, he believed in Lin Xinghai’s ability to work miracles.
Having made his decision, he imdiately began making arrangents, ordering everyone to prepare for an assault.
As for Lin Xinghai, he had already reached another street and was advancing rapidly.
