Soon, the two of them walked out of the municipal building. Lin Xinghai noticed that Fang Tianhe’s spirits weren’t high and asked in surprise, "Old Fang, what’s wrong? Are you worried that our rcenary Corps won’t be strong enough when we carry out the plan?"

"That’s part of it, but not the whole story," Fang Tianhe said with a bitter smile. "You might laugh, but I’m worried... what’s going to happen to the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps after you leave?"

The Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps had managed to pull off several major feats that shook the rcenary Guild recently, and it was all entirely thanks to Lin Xinghai.

Without him, how could they have been so successful? They might have even been wiped out entirely, let alone profited from every mission and experienced such rapid growth.

"Is that all?" Lin Xinghai found it a little amusing. "The Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps already has a solid foundation. Even without , it wouldn’t have been hard to reach this point. It was just a matter of ti."

"Besides, I still have a month before I leave, don’t I?" Lin Xinghai said seriously. "In that ti, I can definitely help the rcenary Corps reach the level of a Third Level rcenary Corps. Then, even after I’m gone, as long as you play it safe and steady, you’ll eventually beco one of the very top rcenary corps."

Fang Tianhe was stunned. He had never imagined this was Lin Xinghai’s plan.

With Elder Wei’s guarantee, Lin Xinghai had already transcended the confines of the Star Shield Shelter. The Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps was no longer of any real use to him; he didn’t even need to stay.

As for the idea of Lin Xinghai dedicating all his effort to helping the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps, Fang Tianhe wouldn’t have dared to even dream of it.

"Ah Xing, thank you!" Fang Tianhe said gratefully after a mont of silence.

"Don’t overthink it. I have my own reasons for helping you," Lin Xinghai said frankly. "Given the current crisis, as soon as you break through to the Blood Qi Realm, you’ll probably be transferred. Whether you join the army or so other departnt, we’ll definitely cross paths again. Who knows, maybe by then, I’ll be the one needing your help."

’The Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps was his foundation; laying so groundwork now might be useful later. Of course, it was also a way to repay their kindness. The Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps had genuinely helped him a great deal, and people are emotional creatures, after all.’

"Haha! If that day ever cos, just say the word. We’ll do whatever you need," Fang Tianhe laughed heartily.

Lin Xinghai smiled as well, and soon, the two of them returned to their base camp.

With only a week left before they made their move against the Morgan Conglorate, the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps had to accelerate its growth.

The top priority for gaining strength was, of course, recruiting new mbers.

With Lin Xinghai present, Fang Tianhe no longer had to be as timid and hesitant as before. He boldly gave the order to recruit a full 100 mbers within one week.

This was the standard roster size for a Second Level rcenary Corps. After their battle with the Wild Wolf rcenary Corps, they only had 40 mbers in total, which was far too few.

While the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps had previously pursued an elite-only strategy, a major reason for that was their lack of funds, which made them hesitant to recruit too many people.

As long as the money was there, they could ensure every new recruit was an elite.

Half an hour later, a new recruitnt station appeared in the rcenary Guild.

The bustling scene at the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps’s station was beyond anything the other recruitnt stations could compare to.

Especially after the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps sold 80,000 Points’ worth of Elental Crystals yesterday, everyone knew this was a group that wasn’t short on cash. Joining a rcenary Corps like this guaranteed a prosperous future.

As for compensation, that went without saying. Fang Tianhe had maxed out the benefits package. Whatever other rcenary corps offered, the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps not only matched it but surpassed it.

They even offered things other rcenary corps couldn’t, like pointers on Gun Technique from a Divine Sharpshooter.

This sent the rcenaries in the rcenary Guild into a frenzy. The news spread like wildfire, even drawing in rcenaries who had been off-duty.

Of course, as good as the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps’s benefits were, their requirents were just as high. They might as well have put up a sign that said "Elites Only."

One of the conditions was that they only recruited mbers with a Genetic Assessnt Level C or higher, unless the applicant had awakened a Superpower or possessed the strength of soone who had broken two Genetic Locks.

This condition alone barred ninety percent of the rcenaries from applying.

This led so indignant rcenaries to stand on the sidelines, muttering sarcastic remarks. They complained that the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps had grown arrogant with success and looked down on ordinary rcenaries, hoping to rally others to their cause.

Unfortunately for them, being a rcenary was a pragmatic profession where the capable always rose to the top.

Besides, the truly powerful rcenaries were happy to see this level of screening, so the grumbling had little to no effect on the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps’s recruitnt drive.

In fact, thanks to the "publicity" from these disgruntled rcenaries, even more people learned that the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps was recruiting mbers.

In a single afternoon, the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps recruited a full thirty people, all of whom had either great potential or proven strength.

Looking at the list before him, Fang Tianhe sighed emotionally. In the past, if the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps had tried recruiting with these standards, they wouldn’t have just struggled to find 30 people—finding even three would have been a challenge.

Of course, he knew exactly why this was possible. He glanced over at Lin Xinghai, who was sitting to the side fiddling with his wrist-mounted computer, and couldn’t help but remark, "Ah Xing! With this kind of drawing power, I bet even the leaders of the Third Level rcenary Corps can’t hold a candle to you."

Lin Xinghai smiled and picked up the list in front of Fang Tianhe for a look. Of the 30 new recruits, 20 had been accepted because their Genetic Assessnt had reached C Level.

Compared to those who were already powerful, he was naturally more interested in those with high potential.

’With here, the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps will never be short on Points. We can buy massive amounts of Genetic dicine Liquid for these mbers’ Cultivation. Of these 20 people, maybe half will break through to the Blood Qi Realm in the future. That’s what I really need.’

"Tomorrow, you take these new recruits out on a mission to get them familiar with our rcenary Corps," Lin Xinghai said. "I won’t be free to take them out to kill Zombies until the day after tomorrow."

Fang Tianhe was taken aback for a mont, but then he imdiately understood.

Not far from their station was the recruitnt station for the Mountain and Sea rcenary Corps. He figured Lin Xinghai was planning to go lend them his support.

After all, he and Shen Han were enough to hold down the fort for the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps. The Mountain and Sea rcenary Corps, on the other hand, didn’t have a single mber who had broken through three Genetic Locks. They undoubtedly needed Lin Xinghai’s presence more.

"Fine! But don’t you forget about us!" Fang Tianhe said with a wounded tone.

That wounded tone gave Lin Xinghai goosebumps. He never would have imagined that Fang Tianhe, a hulking man standing 1.9 ters tall, had such a side to him. ’So much for the iron-willed tough guy!’ he thought.

"Old Fang! Have you been running too many ’errands’ lately?" Lin Xinghai sighed dramatically. "What happened to your cold, silent persona?"

The corner of Fang Tianhe’s mouth twitched.

"Don’t worry," Lin Xinghai said, his tone turning serious. "I said I’d make you a Third Level rcenary Corps within a month, so you don’t need to worry about Points. You, on the other hand, need to step it up and increase your own strength!"

With that, he patted Fang Tianhe’s shoulder and left. He still needed to figure out how he was going to help Gao Mountain boost morale tomorrow.
