Both sides braved the dense hail of gunfire, rapidly closing the distance. 1000 ters, 800 ters, 500 ters, 300 ters, 100 ters.
BOOM!
Once they closed to 100 ters, the real battle began.
Song Yao, piloting his cha, drew his Giant Axe. He infused it with Blood Qi Power, causing the entire axe head to glow with a bloody light, and swung it at the opposing cha.
However, the weapon of the opposing cha also began to emanate a bloody glow, eting his attack without a hint of weakness.
Clearly, the opponent was also an expert from the Blood Qi Realm.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
It wasn’t just Song Yao. Qin Wenbo and Fang Tianhe also unleashed their Superpowers simultaneously, displaying terrifying Attack Power.
Terrifyingly, however, the enemy team had not just one Blood Qi Realm expert, but three.
The remaining two Blood Qi Realm experts directly engaged Qin Wenbo and Fang Tianhe.
Instantly, their attack formation crashed against a veritable wall of steel. Not only were they entangled and unable to advance, but they also felt they were in a precarious position.
Against Blood Qi Realm experts, both Qin Wenbo and Fang Tianhe were at a natural disadvantage.
Qin Wenbo was in a slightly better position. His Vine Superpower might not have much Attack Power, but his self-preservation abilities were First Class. The constantly entangling vines were a major headache for the Blood Qi Realm expert, who felt constrained and unable to unleash their full strength.
Fang Tianhe, however, was in danger. Although his Heaven-Splitting Superpower was formidable, his opponent could simply use their Blood Qi Power to nullify it.
Yet, besides Blood Qi Power, the opponent also had a Superpower of their own. As they attacked, a huge ball of fire ford in their cha’s palm, ready to be blasted toward Fang Tianhe.
If that attack landed squarely, the cha would surely be damaged, making the rest of the battle even more perilous.
Fang Tianhe, of course, realized this, and his expression turned grim.
Just as he was wondering what to do, a fist-sized projectile tore through the air with terrifying force, and in a flash, struck the cha’s wrist joint.
Clearly, at this critical mont, Lin Xinghai had made his move.
Struck by the Electromagnetic Railgun, the cha’s arm was thrown upward by the imnse kinetic impact, causing the impending Fireball to miss its mark completely.
Furthermore, the Attack Power of an Electromagnetic Railgun was no joke. If it hit the front of a cha, with its thick outer armor, the machine might withstand two or three shots.
But a cha’s joints were the connection points for its various components and had to remain flexible. No matter how much their Defense was reinforced, they were always a relative weak point.
Thus, with just a single shot, the joint in the enemy’s left arm was damaged, and its mobility was drastically reduced.
"Yes!" Fang Tianhe couldn’t help but roar. Gripping his Great Saber with both hands, he pushed his Heaven-Splitting Superpower to its absolute limit.
Seizing the opportunity while one of the enemy cha’s arms was disabled, he adopted a style of wide, sweeping attacks. He pressed his advantage against his enemy’s weakness and swiftly turned the tables.
And this wasn’t the only skirmish where this was happening.
After that first shot, Lin Xinghai’s Electromagnetic Railgun didn’t fall silent. He fired continuously, providing support across the entire battlefield.
Although every pilot knew their cha’s weak points and would consciously protect them in battle, the problem was Lin Xinghai’s timing. It was impeccable. He always struck while they were fiercely engaged, a situation where they had no spare capacity to defend their cha’s vulnerabilities.
Of course, under normal circumstances, this wouldn’t even be an issue. In a close-quarters brawl with such high movent Speed, hitting an enemy without striking an ally was an incredibly difficult feat.
Only a handful of Divine Sharpshooters like Tang Zhuofei could guarantee a 100% hit rate. A marksman of Shen Han’s skill level wouldn’t even dare to fire wildly in such a situation, opting for close combat instead.
As for hitting a target *and* striking a cha’s vital points simultaneously, that was the stuff of fantasy for most people. The Morgan Conglorate hadn’t even conceived of such a possibility.
But Lin Xinghai, with his extraordinary Gun Technique, was doing just that.
Now, his every shot changed the dynamics of one of the ongoing skirmishes. Although Lin Xinghai couldn’t land a killing blow on these chas with the Electromagnetic Railgun, he was constantly creating an advantage for his allies.
Anyone with a discerning eye could tell that if Lin Xinghai kept this up, the entire state of the battle would be completely reversed in two or three minutes, at most.
Therefore, the Morgan Conglorate imdiately launched a counterattack. Their ranged-attack chas all shifted their fire onto Lin Xinghai.
anwhile, the rest of their lee chas disengaged from their opponents and tried to charge Lin Xinghai to interrupt his sniping.
But the Morgan Conglorate quickly discovered that these tactics were useless.
The cha Lin Xinghai piloted was incredibly agile, allowing him to dodge the vast majority of their attacks. The few that did connect, he simply tanked with his outer armor. In the short term, their ranged fire was simply not enough to cause him any real harm.
Moreover, Lin Xinghai wasn’t just passively dodging. He launched fierce counterattacks even as he evaded, leaving the Morgan Conglorate’s own marksn in a sorry state.
As for the chas trying to rush him for close combat, they were all intercepted. After all, the Three Major rcenary Corps had anticipated such a scenario and were well-prepared.
The situation quickly beca clear. As long as the Morgan Conglorate couldn’t deal with the Lin Xinghai factor, their defeat was only a matter of Ti.
This sent the morale of the Three Major rcenary Corps soaring.
Just as everyone thought they might successfully weather this crisis, one of the rcenaries serving as a spotter delivered a piece of terrible news.
A squad was rapidly approaching from behind. Their approach was clearly preditated; they were using a jamming device that made them completely invisible to radar. They weren’t spotted until they had closed to a distance of 3 kiloters, at which point the spotter finally saw them through his binoculars.
And this squad was even more powerful, comprised of a full thirty chas and 500 ard personnel.
Upon receiving this intelligence, the communications channel instantly fell deathly silent.
It was obvious now. This was a full-blown conspiracy targeting them. The first force they encountered was rely a decoy to pin them down; the squad approaching from behind was the real killing blow.
Once the Morgan Conglorate completed the encirclent, they would have no chance of victory.
After all, the disparity in Power was simply too vast. The enemy’s combined ard forces numbered over a thousand—fully double their own. But of course, the more critical factor was the chas.
The enemy had a total of 50 chas, more than three tis their own number.
In a three-against-one situation, the enemy could crush them even with one arm tied behind their back.
"What do we do?" After a brief silence, Song Yao’s strained voice finally broke through on the comms channel.
