Although the Morgan Conglorate saw through Lin Xinghai’s intentions, they were unfortunately powerless to stop him.
Lin Xinghai fired with incredible speed. But more importantly, his Gun Technique was so good he could score a hit just by casually raising his weapon.
It was futile for the other chas to try and block the bullets with their own bodies. Lin Xinghai’s Speed was simply too great; all he had to do was casually change direction while moving, and they couldn’t keep up at all.
Besides, the two chas who stayed behind with Lin Xinghai weren’t just there to watch the show. They also raised their Electromagnetic Railguns and opened fire.
Their Gun Technique couldn’t compare to Lin Xinghai’s, so it was difficult for them to hit the Armored Vehicles’ wheels in one shot from a distance. But if one shot didn’t work, they fired two. If two didn’t work, they fired three. And if all else failed, they could even launch Micro Missiles. One way or another, they were bound to damage the Armored Vehicles.
At first, the Morgan Conglorate forces tried to intercept the attacks, but they quickly realized it was impossible. They then decided to counter-attack, but to their dismay, that thod didn’t work either.
Because they weren’t fast enough to catch them...
It was one thing not to be able to catch Lin Xinghai’s cha, but the other two that stayed behind were also built for Speed, and they couldn’t catch them either.
All they could do was watch helplessly as one Armored Vehicle after another ground to a halt.
After half of their Armored Vehicles were disabled, the cha pilots saw that the situation was hopeless. After a quick discussion, they finally ordered the remaining vehicles to fall back and regroup with the main force.
The reason they had to discuss it first was that Lin Xinghai had already killed both their captain and vice-captain. The entire squad was now leaderless.
If Cobra hadn’t deliberately taken charge, they would have likely fallen into even greater chaos.
After all the commotion, they realized that the Three Major rcenary Corps had unknowingly pulled more than 500 ters ahead of them.
However, chas were faster than Armored Vehicles. Now that they weren’t being held back, they were confident they could catch up even faster.
Of course, all of this was predicated on Lin Xinghai ceasing his harassnt—but that was obviously not going to happen.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Lin Xinghai and the two other chas continuously fired their Electromagnetic Railguns.
Unfortunately, with the Morgan Conglorate forces deliberately on guard, even Lin Xinghai found it difficult to inflict any substantial damage on their chas.
They couldn’t completely dodge Lin Xinghai’s shots, but since they were just trying to evade rather than fight back, they could still manage to turn their torsos in ti to protect their chas’ vulnerable spots whenever they sensed danger.
And so, over the next stretch, the Morgan Conglorate’s forces gradually closed the distance on the Three Major rcenary Corps.
What puzzled them, however, was that even though Lin Xinghai’s attacks seed futile, he showed no signs of stopping, firing shot after shot.
One after another, fist-sized craters appeared on their outer armor.
By the ti they were only 100 ters away from the convoy, basically every cha had five or six new impact craters.
Normally, it wouldn’t be strange for a cha to have dozens of impact craters after a major battle. But as Cobra looked at the new craters on his allies’ chas, a strange sense of unease crept into his heart.
’He felt like he was missing sothing.’
Suddenly, his pupils contracted. He finally realized what was different about these new craters compared to the others.
These craters were all clustered around their cockpits. So were directly on the cockpit’s exterior plating.
And at that exact mont, Lin Xinghai stopped his evasive maneuvers. All by himself, he charged straight at their formation.
On the Morgan Conglorate’s comms channel, they had been in a heated discussion about how to stall the Three Major rcenary Corps’ forces and avoid being focused down by their Hand Cannons once they caught up. Now, seeing Lin Xinghai charge directly at them, they were all stunned into silence.
"Careful! Protect your cockpits, especially the areas with new impact craters on the outer armor!" Cobra shouted. At the sa ti, he unleashed his Superpower. A layer of snake scales instantly covered his cha’s surface, significantly boosting its Defense Power.
Cobra reacted instantly, but the others were still in a daze.
Their side had already lost five chas in the initial missile exchange, and Lin Xinghai had subsequently destroyed another five. They were down to just ten.
But that was when Lin Xinghai had taken advantage of the chaos of a large-scale battle.
But for Lin Xinghai to charge them all by himself now—to challenge ten chas at once? They had never heard of anyone attempting sothing so insane. It was a complete death wish!
Of course, they considered it a one-man charge because they had completely disregarded the two chas in the distance—the ones with poor Gun Technique who didn’t dare get close.
For these reasons, the mbers of the Morgan Conglorate didn’t believe Lin Xinghai posed much of a threat, and their reactions were naturally a bit slow.
In stark contrast, Lin Xinghai unleashed his full power. His Speed, which he had been maintaining at around 2000 points, now exploded to 4000 without hesitation. His cha closed the distance like a phantom, leaving afterimages as it rushed toward the outermost cha in the enemy formation.
That cha’s pilot was a bit slow to react, but as one of the Morgan Conglorate’s elites, his response to a sudden crisis was still extrely fast.
He swung the Giant Hamr in his hand almost without hesitation. At the sa ti, he activated his Superpower, instantly engulfing the entire hamr in a layer of fire as he swept it forward.
He knew Lin Xinghai was fast and a direct strike might not connect, so he opted for a horizontal sweep. This attack had the widest possible range; if his opponent charged from the front, there was no way to dodge it.
With his comrades’ chas to his left, right, and rear, he had no need to worry about an attack from those directions. This was the advantage of fighting in a formation.
BOOM!
His Giant Hamr actually struck Lin Xinghai’s cha.
To be precise, Lin Xinghai had intentionally t the Giant Hamr with his right shoulder.
At the sa ti, in the instant his opponent’s defenses were wide open, he thrust out with the Mjolnir in his hand.
SCREECH!
A piercing tallic screech rang out. The Mjolnir, carrying a terrifying impact force, followed the path of a crater he had deliberately created earlier. It smoothly penetrated the outer armor and plunged deep into the cockpit.
Trading an injury for a kill!
And he had done it while facing ten enemies.
Everyone who witnessed this felt a chill run down their spine, making their scalps tingle with fear.
’Are we about to be completely wiped out by this one cha?’
