Upon hearing Lin Xinghai’s warning, both Fang Tianhe and Shen Han felt a chill run down their spines.
Watching the swarm of Blood-colored Beetles surging toward them like a spreading ocean of blood, it would have been an absolute lie to say they weren’t nervous.
But both of them were battle-hardened veterans. Although they were on high alert, they made no unnecessary movents that might interfere with the plan.
After entering a frenzied state, the Hunter beca extrely fast. It was the first to charge into their vicinity.
But to Lin Xinghai’s disappointnt, the Hunter seed to hesitate after getting close. Perhaps it was because it saw they had three chas. It didn’t attack imdiately, instead waiting for the approaching tide of Blood-colored Beetles.
"Old Fang, Shen Han, use your Superpowers to hold off the Blood-colored Beetles in a mont. But rember not to reveal your full strength. I’ll put so pressure on this Hunter and make it attack sooner."
As he spoke, Lin Xinghai raised the Electromagnetic Railgun in his hand and fired a shot with a deafening BANG.
The Hunter was over 300 ters away from Lin Xinghai’s group, wandering about nonchalantly.
According to its past combat experience, at such a distance, it was absolutely safe, whether facing these humans or other Mutated Zombies.
With its Speed, it could easily dodge any danger it encountered.
But at this mont, it felt its hair stand on end as a sense of extre danger washed over it. It dove to the side almost without hesitation.

So, after firing one shot with all his might to gauge the opponent’s abilities, Lin Xinghai then deliberately lowered his accuracy. This was to put so pressure on the Hunter without scaring it away.
After getting over its initial nervousness, the Hunter realized that Lin Xinghai wasn’t as big of a threat as it had imagined, so it gradually circled back.
At the sa ti, the tide of Blood-colored Beetles washed up to Lin Xinghai and the others.
Fang Tianhe’s Heaven-Sundering cha and Shen Han’s Celestial Frost cha flanked Lin Xinghai, protecting him on his left and right.
At the sa ti, both of them unleashed their Superpowers, amplified through their chas.
From the legs of the Heaven-Sundering cha, streams of dark Energy surged out. When the rushing Blood-colored Beetles touched this black Energy, they silently turned to dust.
Although the carapaces of these Blood-colored Beetles were comparable to ordinary steel, the Heaven-Splitting Superpower could grind even tal walls to dust. Their shells were just a thin layer, so annihilating them was incredibly easy.
And because of their small size, the amplified Heaven-Splitting Superpower had a wide area of effect, killing them in large swathes.
As for Shen Han on the other side, an aura of frost continuously radiated from her cha.
A layer of ice crystals quickly ford on the bodies of the charging Blood-colored Beetles. After being frozen, their movent slowed to a snail’s pace.
Under these circumstances, the Celestial Frost cha only needed to stomp its foot to crush dozens of them.
There was no doubt about it. With the cha’s weight of over ten tons, one stomp could flatten steel; of course these Blood-colored Beetles couldn’t survive.
Seeing this, Lin Xinghai felt a pang of envy for their Superpowers. ’An area-of-effect ability like that is exactly what I’m missing right now.’
’Fortunately, it isn’t a permanent weakness. Once I break through to the Blood Qi Realm and can wield Blood Qi Power, I’ll be able to make up for it to so extent.’
Just like that, the three chas pushed forward against the insect tide.
And this was with Fang Tianhe and Shen Han suppressing their Superpowers as much as possible. Otherwise, given a minute or two, killing all 10,000-plus Blood-colored Beetles wouldn’t be difficult at all.
Seeing this, the Hunter grew restless. It let out a nervous shriek, communicating the situation to the other three Mutated Zombies. At the sa ti, it began to creep closer, looking for an opportunity to launch a sneak attack.
"Finally decided to make a move?" Lin Xinghai muttered to himself.
He then subtly maneuvered his cha to fall behind by a few paces. He was careful not to leave the protective range of his teammates’ Superpowers, but he had given the Hunter the opening it was looking for.
Although these Mutated Zombies had intelligence, it was limited.
After seeing the opening Lin Xinghai presented, the Hunter didn’t hesitate. It hid behind a building and launched its sneak attack as the three chas passed by.
The Hunter’s sneak attack was decisive and its movents were agile. But unfortunately for it, Lin Xinghai’s current Spiritual Power Perception had a range of 500 ters; none of its actions could escape his notice.
So when it got within 20 ters of Lin Xinghai’s cha, Shen Han, timing it perfectly, unleashed her Celestial Frost Superpower with all her might, instantly enveloping it.
At the sa ti, Fang Tianhe, who had long been prepared, locked onto the Hunter with his Weapon System. He then fired all twenty-odd Micro Missiles loaded in the cha’s armored legs at once.
This sudden change caught the Hunter off guard. First it was frozen, its Speed sharply dropping to only 3000 points, then a dense barrage of Micro Missiles bombarded it.
But a Hunter was a Hunter, after all. Even in this situation, it managed to dodge with its agile reflexes.
Moreover, because it had entered a frenzied state, the effect of the Celestial Frost Superpower on it lasted for less than a second. It looked like it was about to escape from the ambush.
But before it could feel any relief, it sensed a fatal threat. A fist-sized slug from an Electromagnetic Railgun tore through the dense explosions, hit its shoulder, and instantly ripped away a large chunk of flesh and blood.
This was only because the Hunter had dodged in ti. If it had been even a fraction of a second slower, the slug would have hit its head, not its shoulder.
Having escaped death, the Hunter had no ti to feel relieved before the feeling of fatal danger struck again. It looked up to see a long, deep blue spear hurtling toward it.
The cha it had considered its prey had now beco the hunter, closing in at a Speed faster than its own.
The Hunter’s pupils shrank. At the mont of life and death, its Speed actually increased again. It dodged the spear by a hair’s breadth and lunged toward a factory building to the side.
With its small body, its Speed wouldn’t decrease much inside the factory, but the cha would be a different story.
So as long as it could get inside, the Hunter’s chances of escaping were still very high.
However, it was a good strategy, but halfway through its lunge, the deep blue spear ca flying after it like a shadow, moving even faster than the Hunter.
Seeing it dodge, Lin Xinghai had thrown Mjolnir directly.
The Hunter was still in mid-air and couldn’t dodge at all. Its body was pierced straight through by the long spear and pinned to the factory wall.
Before it could even move, a giant steel foot—roughly the size of the Hunter’s own body—ca crashing down with imnse force. The kick simultaneously blew a hole in the wall and burst its head.
"First one down," Lin Xinghai said in a cold tone.
