Royal City remained bustling and lively, still the most populous and noble-filled city in the entire Spirit Realm.
When Yusuf Zuck and his party landed their ship outside the city, mbers of the Academy’s General Affairs Departnt ca to greet them. The departnt had set up a procurent office here in Royal City, staffed by people who were very familiar with the city!
"Greetings, Lord Lenghu! Your journey must have been exhausting!" The head of the procurent office was a position with significant perks, and Yusuf had already heard from others like Fire Two that the person in charge, Tian Lang, was actually the nephew of Vice President Tian. Essentially, it was Vice President Tian placing his own person in the General Affairs Departnt to gain private benefits!
Vice President Tian was the third-ranking vice president and wielded considerable power within the Academy.
Tian Lang seed to be quite cheerful and lively. He had heard of this newly appointed Deputy General Affairs Director, and knowing he had backing within the academy, he behaved very courteously!
"Hmm? Wasn’t it supposed to be fifteen people? Along with ten from the Criminal Tribunal and Chosen-heaven Class, why are there only five of you?" Tian Lang looked back and found no one else!
"We don’t know. We were attacked by enemies halfway through; they all charged out and told us to hurry on, so we arrived first. With their cultivation level, they should be fine, right?" Yusuf replied cheerfully.
"Attacked by enemies?" Tian Lang was startled: "Have you reported this to the Academy?"
"Not yet."

Upon reaching Royal City Mansion, Yusuf witnessed true luxury. The mansion was not only elaborately decorated and palatial like an imperial palace, but its most striking feature was the service!

Passing by the main hall of the Gould family’s expansive house, Yusuf noticed over two hundred young students kneeling outside, all standing straight while kneeling!
Yusuf was puzzled as to why these people were kneeling!
However, the steward did not lead him into the main hall but took a turn to the inner courtyard.
