Compared to the outside world, Fairy Country Britain has many distinct characteristics.

These differences do not refer to the rulers of the country being fairies but rather to fundantal environntal disparities.

First, the weather in Fairy Country Britain typically does not change, apart from the occasional rain, the weather is generally fixed at other tis.

Here, the sky is not a clear blue, but it bears traces close to twilight. Although it does beco dark at night, this world indeed does not have blue skies.

In addition, sotis in the wilds of Fairy Country Britain, one might encounter a monster that causes the majority of fairies to lose their courage.

It is a lifeform that cannot hear others’ voices.

It is dark algae that contaminates the world just by existing.

It is the Briton’s Curse that will kill fairies.

The fairies call this creature Moors, a kind of "disaster" that has always existed on the island of Britain to this day, similar to natural disasters in the human world, feared by all fairies.

It is said that the Moors ca from fairies who lost their purpose, nas, radiance, and finally their lives; they are the natural predators of fairies. As soon as a fairy touches them, they will attach themselves to the fairy, causing the touched fairy to also beco a Moors, which could be considered a disease only fairies can contract.

This year seems to be one where the "disaster" is particularly rampant. Moors are wandering in the wilds of the island, sotis attacking passersby, sotis attacking cities, which, for fairies, is undoubtedly terrifying.

And whether by luck or misfortune, when a carriage drawn by white, eight-legged horses was traveling southward from the central plains, entering the southern plains, a group of Moors appeared and attacked the carriage.

"Boom!"

Upon the vast plains, an explosive boom suddenly burst forth, causing the galloping white, eight-legged horse carriage to co to a screeching halt, narrowly avoiding the attack capable of creating such a roar.

The essence of the attack was a type of pitch-black bombardnt.

It resembled a cloud of deadly toxin and also a mass of shadows. When unleashed, it not only could break the sound barrier rapidly, but its attack was also incredibly fast and powerful.

That’s why it was as dark as ink.

That’s why it was a bombardnt.

And the ones who launched such an attack were a group of Moors.

The Moors resembled soft-bodied creatures, devoid of bones, lacking skin and flesh, ford of pitch-black shadows like their attacks, with only their eye regions emitting various glows. Apart from that, everything appeared extrely dark, gloomy, and sinister.

Anyone upon first encountering these creatures would genuinely have the sa impression.

That is, they must be cursed beings.

Facing such entities, communication indeed becos futile, and the only option upon an encounter is to fight until one side falls.

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"...

As if to prove this point, the Moors that appeared on the plains twisted their soft bodies, gathering the pitch-black Curse within them to form cannonballs, launching a successive barrage at the eight-legged horse carriage, causing explosions around it like black waters erupting.

At first glance, the attacks of these cursed creatures seed imprecise, not a single one hitting the carriage.

However, the reason for this was not due to the Moors’ faulty precision, but because the carriage’s owner had twisted their attacks.

"Arrow-blocking Wall."

The magic that could hinder shooting was activated from within the carriage, causing the air around it to beco chaotic.

The incoming black clumps of Curse thus missed their mark, only able to explode around the carriage without hitting the target.

At this point, the real protagonist erged from the carriage.

"Really, we’re almost at our destination and we suddenly encounter a roadblock, what poor luck," Reiger muttered, gazing at the group of Moors in front of him.

"Be careful, Reiger," Altoria peeked out from the carriage, saying anxiously to Reiger, "The Moors can erode fairies with their Curse. If you recklessly approach them, it’s very likely you’ll be assimilated and beco a cursed being."

"Indeed," Reiger raised an eyebrow, turned toward Altoria, and said sowhat coldly, "But since it’s a Curse aid at fairies, what does that have to do with , a human?"

"Ah, this..." Altoria was suddenly at a loss for words.

The air grew unexpectedly silent, causing Altoria’s face to flush with embarrassnt.

What rescued Altoria from this embarrassnt were none other than the Moors that struck terror into the fairies’ hearts.

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"...

The group of cursed creatures completely demonstrated what it ant to be relentless. While twisting their bodies toward them, they gathered the Curse, the black clumps, directing attacks at Reiger and Altoria, causing shadows to explode continuously around them.

A shadow blast even skimd past Altoria, scaring the country fairy quite badly, almost causing her to let out a wail.

Seeing this, Reiger turned his gaze back to the Moors.

"Forget it, let’s deal with you first."

Reiger thought for a mont, didn’t draw his weapon, but instead used a new magic he had learned not long ago.
