Gripping the trembling blade tightly, Reiger began to mutter to himself.
"You do have an eye for talent," Lancelot, holding a pair of swords, said as he gently levitated. "Indeed, I am a dragon, and not just any dragon, but also an elf, the only Dragon Elf in the Fairy Country of Britain, the Dragon Knight."
"In other words, I am the strongest, an invincible being."
"Therefore, Child of Prophecy, I advise you to surrender."
As Lancelot spoke, an unbelievably imnse magic power erupted from her.
To Reiger, it felt no less than that of Yuri, who was a Strategic Magician.
Which ant that in terms of sheer magic power, the opponent was above Reiger.
This fact alone proved how formidable the enemy was.
However...
"Unfortunately, I have never surrendered to anyone in battle thus far."
Reiger stared at Lancelot and began to smile.
"If you want to surrender, then let see the true extent of your strength."
At those words, Lancelot fell silent.
After a short pause, the girl coldly uttered,
"As you wish."
At the end of her sentence, the female knight’s magic power surged explosively, propelling her into the sky with incredible speed and shooting up into the twilight heavens.
Her speed was as fast as a rocket.
Her figure, like a shooting star.
The strongest Elf Knight suddenly soared, then after disappearing into the dusk, she suddenly turned and dove toward the ground.
Instantly, continuing to accelerate, the female knight once again turned into a white teor, overturning the atmosphere, causing intense sonic booms, and launching an assault at Reiger.
"Swoosh!"
Reiger frowned, changed his breathing rhythm, and flas of the Sun engulfed his body turning him into a streak of fire. With a roaring wind, he retreated explosively backward.
But Reiger’s speed couldn’t compare to Lancelot’s, who had reached her utmost acceleration. In an instant, she caught up to the white teor.
"[Advanced Teleportation]!"
Not wanting to endure another of those formidable assaults, Reiger activated his teleportation magic and instantly vanished from his spot.
"Disappeared?"
Lancelot, turned into a white teor, focused her eyes.
At that mont, a voice sounded above the girl’s head.
"[Triple Enhancent–Ultimate Severance]!"
Three invisible slashes, cutting through the space, tore through the atmosphere and hurtled down toward Lancelot’s back, head, and legs.
"A slash capable of severing space?"
Lancelot, with her Extraordinary Intuition, caught the essence of Reiger’s attack and realized how dangerous these three invisible slashes were.
"Pity, they’re too slow."
The white teor simply turned, swiftly dodged, and the three slashes passed by one after another, with one even left far behind, unable to catch up with Lancelot, only trailing in her wake.
"[Magic Resistance Difficulty Increase·Cripple]!"
Seeing this from above, Reiger realized that without finding a way to hinder Lancelot’s Acceleration, his attacks might never hit her. He promptly used a debuff magic.
[Cripple], as its na suggests, was a magic that could weaken the movent speed of its target.
Reiger activated this magic, but it had no effect whatsoever.
"Boom!"
The white teor took another turn at high altitude, speeding up instead of slowing down, and with a deafening sonic boom, she fiercely collided with Reiger.
Reiger was sent flying backward, feeling a dull pain in his chest and marveling inwardly.
"It had no effect at all?"
It seed that the Elf Knight was protected by so kind of shielding power, possibly this world’s "Magic Resistance" effect.
As a Dragon Elf, there were probably not many magical spells or magics that would work on this Elf Knight, prompting Reiger to abandon the idea of using ti magic.
So be it then—
"[Radiant Golden Red Body]."
"[Earth Mother’s Power]."
"[Advanced All-Attribute Enhancent]."
"[Perception Boost]."
"[Extraordinary Intuition]."
"[Sanctuary Protection]."
Reiger activated a series of enhancent magics, sparking waves of magic light around his body.
"Boom!"
The white teor struck again just right, its speed now generating shockwaves, awe-inspiring to behold.
"[Acceleration]."
Reiger had just applied a speed-enhancing magic to himself, lifted his black blade, and launched an assault at the white teor.
"Sun Breathing·Seventh Form·Yang Hua Strike!"
As rings of fla whirled around the blade, Reiger, too, transford into a fiery streak, hurtling toward the white teor at a speed much greater than before.
"Boom—!"
The roar of the impact thundered like a bolt from the blue, unleashing both a storm of magic power and a wild blaze that swept across the land below, drawing cries of anguish and cheers from the elves.
The terrifying impact affected both Reiger and Lancelot, sending them smashing backward.
Almost imdiately, Reiger and Lancelot stabilized themselves, locked eyes for a mont, and unexpectedly, both released a blazing will to fight.
The next second, the two floating in the sky accelerated sharply upward.
One turned into a red cot.
The other into a white cot.
One red and one white, the two cots charged towards the heavens, then simultaneously turned, causing uproar in the atmosphere and thundering towards each other.
