"Boom—— Boom—— Boom—— Boom—— Boom——"
In an instant, a ground-shaking collision occurred ti and again in the skies above Salisbury.
A red and a white cot either collided with each other, suddenly separated, chased each other, or swept back and forth, unfolding an aerial battle of both speed and power.
Each collision between the two sides would cause a fierce roar in the high altitudes.
Each chase from the parties left dazzling trails in the atmosphere.
The red and white cots were just like gods at play, battling from the gates of Salisbury to the city’s end, then back to the city center, swooping past the great cathedral multiple tis, and occasionally flying out of the city, only to smash into each other again and shake the ground with tremors.
All who were watching the battle were variously shocked, stunned, fearful, or cheering repeatedly.
For example, the chaos-loving elves were among many who were drawn to this fierce battle and cheered on.
In the great cathedral, the elves and soldiers who knew one of the combatants were imnsely shaken.
This included Aurora, who was watching the battle from a window.
It also included Gawain and Woodworth, who had rushed into the cathedral one after the other.
Of course, it also included Altoria, who was still tangled in combat with the soldiers.
Particularly Gawain and Woodworth, upon seeing the two cots fiercely battling in the sky, one looked solemn, the other grim.
"Is that the Child of Prophecy?" Gawain stared intently at the red cot and whispered, "To engage in such a fierce aerial battle with Lancelot? So powerful!"
The eyes of Elf Knight Gawain lit up with a burning desire and a greed akin to longing.
"Damn!"
Woodworth couldn’t help but curse, appearing extrely frustrated, obviously provoked by the performance of those two.
One was the annoying enemy who had recently dominated him, almost leaving him powerless to retaliate, and the other was Woodworth’s long-disdained rival. Now, they had left him behind, fighting in the sky on their own, which made Woodworth wish he had wings and could fly.
If he could fly, he would never allow those irritating fellows to flaunt their prowess above his head.
"This is bad!"
Altoria, equally shaken, seed to sense the presence of Gawain and Woodworth. While using her magic to fend off several elves and soldiers from the Wind Clan, she grew anxious.
"Woodworth has arrived, and that muscular woman too, right inside this cathedral!"
This was not good, not good at all.
At least, Altoria didn’t feel like she could match those two rivals at the mont.
Indeed, her powers had improved a lot, possibly even surpassing the elite warriors of the Tusk Clan. However, faced with Woodworth, the strong adversary, and the muscular woman who could arm-wrestle Woodworth, even if Altoria was overflowing with confidence, she didn’t believe she could withstand them.
"I must escape!"
Altoria could only activate her magic, allowing starlight to converge on the chosen staff.
"Boom!"
The next mont, a massive explosion occurred, blasting the elves and soldiers attacking Altoria away.
"Reiger!"
Altoria shouted into the sky, followed imdiately by a voice echoing in her mind.
"You go ahead, I’ll catch up with you."
Upon hearing these words, Altoria’s form froze montarily before she turned and ran, no longer hesitating.
"Don’t run!"
Woodworth, a veteran who had almost retired from the front lines, was ahead of Gawain and charged up to the highest level of the grand cathedral with the elves of the Tusk Clan.
Thanks to this, Woodworth spotted Altoria running and his face contorted instantly.
"Catch her!" Woodworth bellowed, "She’s a companion of the Child of Prophecy! Don’t let her escape!"
He intended to use Altoria to force Reiger to co down and avenge his previous disgrace.
"A, a companion of the Child of Prophecy?"
Overhearing Woodworth’s angry shout left Altoria sowhat confused.
What companion of the Child of Prophecy?
Isn’t the Child of Prophecy ?
How did I beco a companion?
Is this a misunderstanding?
No matter how confused Altoria was, the physically adept Tusk Clan, upon Woodworth’s command, all sprang into action, roaring and charging toward Altoria.
"Hey!"
Altoria suddenly spun around and threw sothing.
"Boom!"
Another powerful explosion not only destroyed the walls and corridors of the cathedral but also sent the elves of the Tusk Clan sprawling in disarray.
"This is payback for last ti!"
Altoria was naturally referring to the previous incident outside Tintagel, where she was almost assassinated on the spot by the elves of the Tusk Clan.
"Here’s another bomb for you! Catch!"
Altoria threw the so-called bomb, causing a third massive explosion that blasted away the pursuing Tusk Clan.
If a traditional magician were here to witness this scene, they would surely have fainted from shock?
A fairy of Paradise, the Child of Prophecy, was not using traditional magic to fight her enemies but was crafting magical bombs to blast them to pieces, a combat thod so crude it scarcely deserved to be called magic.
Whether or not Altoria noticed this, after repeatedly throwing several magic bombs, the fairy girl hurriedly ran off, fleeing swiftly.
However, it seed Altoria’s luck had run out.
"Where do you think you’re running to?"
Revealing his true nature, Woodworth moved as if teleporting through the explosion and blocked Altoria’s path.
"...This is bad."
Stopping in her tracks, Altoria looked at the enraged Woodworth, a cold sweat sliding down her cheek.
